- Things To Do in Kendal Cumbria, why not Join me for a walk around Kendal Town. We will Visit many historical lane ways and local Kendal attractions and also stop at some great places to eat too. There is a great market square in the centre of town where they hold a market each week, it is also the site of the world war 11 memorial and the beautiful kendal town hall clock. Kendal town centre has so much to see and do, we just loved walking around and taking in the amazing sights. The Westmorland shopping area is the main Kendal shopping district and has many different market stalls as well as the main high street shops. On the Video I have pointed out the the very informative town map for the Kendal cumbria Enngland area :) to show points of interest.

First!!! HA..!!!! Kendall is a wonderful place!!! Wow!!! There’s places similar here in along the southeast/ northern states, but as far as quaintness.. Kendall has it hands down!!!!.. I’m will to bet the the holidays are beautiful there!!!

While I was watching this it struck me that between this channel and BarrowBoy Woods I have learned more about Kendal than I ever thought I would. If I can ever get across the ocean I'll have to go see it for myself.

One day I will get there to see the castle. My fathers ancestor lost the castle ( with his life) in the Battle of Boswick . My family name is also Kendall ( with two L’s )
I was stuck in traffic on that beautiful bridge for about half an hour a few years ago when there was an accident! They've done a fab job with the hotel, looks really nice! The streets look so interesting - and the yards, I've never actually stopped in the town except for the traffic jam, maybe I should change that after seeing this. Well done - great review! 👌🙂👌

Hi!
If that bridge "connects England to Scotland" then England would be on one side of it, and Scotland would be on the other side. The last time I looked, both sides of the River Kent at that location were in Kendal, and therefore in England. That bridge "connects on bit of Kendal, Cumbria with a similar bit of Kendal, Cumbria" - Scotland has nothing to do with it.
