- Kendal castle Cumbria in the Heart of Kendal Town. The Kendal castle Hill is an easy walk up to the Kendal Castle. There is no Entrance fee for the Kendal castle and the view from the top of the castle hill is superb with views over Kendal and the Hill peaks. The Heritage lottery fund have placed some great information boards within the Castle and these provide some great historical kendal castle history facts.

I m from Plymouth MA and 8 people on mayflower are my relatives, I well know most were from England. So this a treasure for me, great job!

That's my Kendall roots. Thank you for showing everything and the descriptions. My first ancestor came to America in 1631, not counting the first man executed in the colonies, Capt. George Kendall, in Jamestown in 1608 who might have been a relation. Sounds like he would be. 😆
