Great olace to visit 👏 thanks for your travelling tips a kind American lady always a big fan of yoir utube channel always
It’s a beautiful place! Thanks for watching 😊
A beautiful area. In summer it can get very busy for obvious reasons. If you love nature then the Lake district is a must. I would suggest that you try Snowdonia in Wales, another National park. Keep up the great work
It really is beautiful! I can imagine it gets very busy in the summer. And I’d love to visit Snowdonia!! There are tons of places in wales I’d like to go :) thanks so much!
The valley of Buttermere, south of Keswick is amazingly beautiful. It is often called the most beautiful valley in England. At the bottom of Borrowdale you go over Honister Pass (steep) and go down to Buttermere which is a perfect Lake, but the village can get very busy at Bank Holidays and Weekends.
Thanks so much for sharing!!
Great Travelvlog, thank you. I'm a Brit and although I've travelled a lot, I still haven't made it to the Lake District...maybe I will this summer.
You’re welcome! Yeah hopefully this summer - it’ll be great as long as the weather is good :)
Return train fares are not double the single fare. If you book a return ticket, the return portion is considerably less than the outward journey, sometimes just a few pounds.
Yeah it depends!!
Hi, @Sheruntheworld Is it worth to plan a 5day trip to Lake district? ?
If you like to hike, I’d say so! There are so many areas to explore and hikes to do. But I’d make sure it’s good weather, otherwise it won’t be worth staying that long!!
Hi Brittany. Not sure what Country you come from but you sound American or Canada? Haven't you looked into flights to Manchester from America or Canada? Manchester is much closer to the Lake district than London.
Hi! I’m American. I live in London which is why we’re coming from London to go to the Lake District and since it’s the biggest and most visited city in the UK, it’s safe to assume most people visiting the UK on holiday will be in London as well :)
@@SheRunTheWorld That makes sense for you now. I thought you literately flew over from America landed at London to then travel all the way to the Lake District.
Just a note, it's pronounced "Kessick".
Yes weird.
Ah thank you! I mispronounce lots of British English places haha
@@SheRunTheWorld Can we Add Bo-ness to your vocab - at least the silent 'w' is consistent - a rarity in English......
