Hi Andrew, the passion that you use is Fantastic! And like always, the mix of colors are always a surprise for me.... 😁, now, I must have 😁manganese blu and rigger brush.... ☺️, thank Andrew... Have a good week whit your work... All the best to you🙋♀️
Something about the very beginning with the horizontal line and your sky with the Indian red that I love... I know there is so much more, but the abstract quality is beautiful.
Thank you Michael. I wish I was brave enough to leave some of my paintings in their ‘unfinished’ state where I like the abstract quality in them. One day ….. 😃
What a beautiful day and beautiful painting! Your clouds are perfect I loved watching you paint those. Another fantastic job. Can’t wait to see the exhibition and hope you manage to get a catalogue printed as it would be a lovely thing to take home. Thanks for sharing
When I saw that plywood board with dark red tone I thought what a mess this is going to be. BUT, the plywood works well for deep water. Very nice painting!
Right on my doorstep there :) I like the 'rag' you cleaned your brush with in the studio, I recognised where that came from immediately! Lovely work again Andrew.
Beautiful! Amazing how layering the water colors made it so lively. You did a great job! Ps- I'm now using my rigger brush much more. It's very fun and makes great textures and it's very freeing as well. Thanks Andrew for another truly lovely painting! You're a great inspiration!
Thank you so much Lynette. I love layering the paint. That’s why I like to take the plein air work back to the studio and put more paint on when dry (quite often) 😃
Nice treatment of the sea, so bloooo. That tiny bit of land jutting in from the left design wise is a mistake. It should either not be there, which would make the pic even less interesting, so I guess you should have used artistic licence and made it longer and deeper.
Thanks for your comments Jim. Too blue for me really but it was the dominant colour/ feeling of the morning. You have a good point about the little spit of land. A painting is never finished really is it? I may alter things as I look at it over the next few weeks 👍🏻
Your comment about taking chances was timely advice, Andrew. Thanks for another fine video.
Thank you Thomas
A great painting
Thank you for posting it
My pleasure 😊 - Thank you for your support
Half way looking the video and the superb tonalisme painting occurs. Wonderful! Love the blues...
Thank you very much Jan
Those blues, just beautiful
Thanks Caroline. This was a fantastic view to paint 🎨. I enjoyed it a lot

Thank you very much Veronica. Manganese is a good (and cheaper!) alternative to Cerulean blue. The rigger brush is a good one to have 😃
@@AndrewBarrowmanArt ok.... Thank you, Andrew.... 👍🙋♀️
I thought at first a picture with mainly a huge expanse of sea would make for an uninteresting picture but,you proved me wrong.Very nice outcome.
My thoughts exactly Christopher. If the sky had been more interesting (stormy) I would have lowered the horizon
Thank you 😊
Andrew, wonderful again. Great video. Very inspiring! Makes my sundays every time.
That’s fantastic. Thank you Jan, glad you enjoyed it 😃
It was an enjoyable watch chum, liked it a lot. appreciate the thought processes involved, cheers Paul
Hi Paul. How are you doing? Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it. See you next time you’re down this way 👍🏻
@@AndrewBarrowmanArt absolutely chum will look forward to it. stay well.
You too Paul 👍🏻
I love how you layered the water…amazing how different the colors looked in that dappled light versus in studio. Lovely overall, Andrew.
Thank you Amy

Thank you very much Sharron
what an inspirational painting! made me rethink the way i paint seascapes.
Thank you so much James. I like the high view point. I particularly liked the openness and the patterns of the currents in the water

I really enjoyed painting the clouds. The water provided some problems to overcome so the sky was a nice distraction 😃
When I saw that plywood board with dark red tone I thought what a mess this is going to be. BUT, the plywood works well for deep water. Very nice painting!
Thank you. It’s not a colour I would normally start with but it’s good to experiment 😃
Right on my doorstep there :) I like the 'rag' you cleaned your brush with in the studio, I recognised where that came from immediately! Lovely work again Andrew.
Thank you Joe. Those shirts make great oil painting rags 😃
My old Royal Mail shirts were good too but I’ve used them up
