I wish Azeez well. I actually think, his other partners would have contributed substantially to the pitch. Azeez did the talking and also the e commerce demo, so what's the need of coming with 2 other people?
Also, he was too impatient. I wouldn't blame him though but I think he should learn to manage his emotions/reactions/self confidence better.
All the best Agrico! I hope you effectively utilize the advice of the lions.

Perfect observations, at some point I felt irritated.
I think he's the brain behind the business and rather too unintelligent to drive his pitch right from the beginning to the end.
Interestingly their business model is fantastic but restructuring of the business model needs a great touch.
I'm a Logistics expert and if I'm a lion 🦁, I see prospect in their business line only if they'll be ready restructure there business. Alerzo has a similar line of business and I'll have walked them through that line if they're willing to and also have 30-40% of the equity after they return my money in 3years because by then they'll have gone more globally

I don’t think it’s all about getting the money from the Lions, at this point the Lions were investing knowledge to Azeez and his team, you need more than money to handle a business, if theres money and not technical Know-how on management then it’s all a joke, cause at the end of the day you fall back to learn what you ought to have learnt from the starting point. All the best to them

From the first episode to this, so far you can sense how the lions are extremely cautious about investing in even the most bankable businesses pitched in the den. On top of the risk of investing in businesses and everything else, there is that existing distrust (because you can easily be scammed) in Nigeria that makes it even harder for investors to invest. I sincerely like that Nigerian investors and all other partners started this despite all of the challenges we look forward to more episodes and hope they lessen their understandable fear in the next season.

So, based on his LIMITED DISTRIBUTION NETWORK and other VITAL ASPECTS, he is not FULLY PREPARED for FURTHER EXPANSION, therefore he needs to get back to the DRAWING BOARD and re-strategise his BUSINESS IDEAS & PLANS...
And also, as one of the Lions have mentioned, 2 Million Naira is too small based on so much which has to be taken into CONSIDERATION...

I do hope he took the strategic advice Mr Paul shared with him. He seems too impatient and has a character flaw which could not only be detrimental to his business but to his life as well; "Listening" is one of the most important principles of exchange and human interaction. If you don't seem investable as a person, an investor will likely not invest in your business.

So you need confidence in what you offering but then of course you give the impression you stubborn, the best compromise is along the lines of "I am open to input on better ways to take the business forward".

Honestly, he seems impatient but raising your hand doesn't necessarily display interjection, it could be to ask for clarification on a previous point...
