And if u think I am being paranoid, there are reports of investigations of the breach of the Princess of Wales' medical reports traced to California where the Harkles live. Their squad are now brewing that the video that Catherine put out is fake. Don't forget to be disgusted by Kim Kadashian whose mum was spotted with Meghan's mum, Blake Lively who also have 4 young children, Sheryl Crow who also had cancer and asked for privacy previously.
I used to have great respect for Stephen Colbert, until he gave the Hazbeen a soft interview and let him lie, etc. Now to start up that vulgar cheating scandal again? Shame!

When the surgery was announced, it was very simply and clearly stated that NO UPDATES would be given unless significant issues arose. Enough said. No statements about problematic events have been issued. The stated expected return time is still in the future. Therefore, there is no reason for news.
I also believe that Prince William's past experiences with photographers and the press in regard to his mother play into their choice to stay private. Those experiences include blaming the pursuing photographers for her death.

100%. The only medical issue the public was somewhat entitled to were the births of her and William's children. And those informations were provided, they went through the showing off the children hours after they were born, etc. etc.
This? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think employers are not entitled to know about the medical condition of their workers (unless it might interfere with the capability of them doing the job. Like, a pilot having a seizure the employer needs to know what's up). They just need a doctor telling them 'your worker is sick and cannot come into work for x amount of time'.

I had diverticulitis and ended up having surgery. Before sugery I was told that I could wake up from surgery with a closed wounf or a temporary colostomy bag. They just didn't know until they got inside. I ended up with closed wound, but I was in hospital for 2 weeks and off work for 3 months. Abdominal surgery is not easy because of the muscles that have to be cut. Just take one day and write down every time you use your abs. Getting up, walking, bending over, sitting down etc. Give her a break! STAND UP FOR CATHERINE!

Not according to Megyn Kelly, you should have been fully recovered and back at work inside of a couple of weeks :) allegedly she asked her doctor and that was what he told her (I suggested politely she might want to look for a new doctor who possibly isn't quite so ignorant in regards to abdominal surgery).

It's really disrespectful for all these media hacks that call Catherine Princess of Wales by Kate Middleton. She hasn't used that name for over 10 years.
Well, that was her maiden name. After her marriage to Prince William, her surname became Wales. (Or is it Windsor?).
@soniavadnjal7553 The British royal family (any titled Brits, actually) don't have surnames like other people as titles supercede surnames. It is common to use the title name as a substitute surname in situations that typically require it like military or school (both William and Harry used "Wales" in this way during school and military service, with that name on their military name tags, and William and Catherine's children went by "Cambridge" in nursery school). The family name that untitled descendants are meant to be known by is Mountbatten-Windsor (QEII added Philip's family name to the dynastic family name). If people don't want to use her title, Catherine Wales would probably be the most appropriate. Catherine Windsor wouldn't be TOTALLY wrong, I think? Kate anything or anything Middleton is disrespectful, though.

I have emailed several newspapers and media outlets to correct them on this. Even when Diana POW divorced from Charles, they didn't go back to calling her by her maiden name! She was Diana Princess of Wales from the beginning to the end and the fact that they (deliberately?) don't get Catherine's name right is so disrespectful and poor journalism.

The King is the Head of State for several countries. Catherine is not even in the line of succession. She doesn't need to explain or prove anything when it comes to her private matters.

Charles is also head of state and can’t take medical leave without it being a constitutional issue - Counselors of State. Catherine doesn’t have a constitutional role/office. She’s just on leave & should be left alone to recover & recuperate.
It only becomes a Constitutional issue if the Monarch is unfit to continue. King Charles is still working, although not public facing, so a Counsellor of State has not been required.
💯. As Monarch Charles is a little bit more public property and needs to share a little more but even then there is still an expectation of privacy over some things.

He gave the reason for his surgery in order to encourage men to get checked out for prostate problems and it was his own choice to do so. Also it would become a Constitutional issue if he was unfit to work, so he was giving the public a heads up on this just in case.

I watched Megan Kelly talk about this in 2 videos, and it was DISGUSTING. She was "mean-girl" gossiping with other females, making wild speculations and borderline bullying. Be fair, according to a Megyn Kelly her doctor said that after abdominal surgery Catherine should have been fully healed and back to work within a couple of weeks so ''obviously''' they can't leave her alone, some at least think she's faking or hiding something.

@judyswinden9935 As an American who is a fan of the royals, I have to say I think it's BECAUSE of that. The royal family has been steadily gaining popularity (and general knowledge) over here for a little over a decade, exploding recently with the fallout of the Harry and Meghan saga. Many people credit William and Catherine in particular for that. So you get this reactionary response of "we got rid of them 250 years ago, why are people liking them now" and instead of actually looking into what's got people interested they started by mocking and putting them down and now they're viciously attacking. American interest in the coronation really pushed these people over the edge and now with this I think they see it as (finally) being a weakness that "proves" they were right about the royal family not being special all along. Except in finding "proof" that they're human beings some of these people seem to have forgotten that they're human beings . . .

Absolutely true. I had routine abdominal surgery and ended up with an open wound from above my navel down to the pelvis that had to be packed and redressed daily by a wound care specialist for 5 months as it healed. Horrible experience.
I totally agree! I've had a complete abdominal hysterectomy (27 staples,) my husband has had an umbilical hernia removed (also 27 staples). It took me 3 months before I was able to return to work. It took my husband over six months before he could return to work. Abdominal surgery has a touchy recovery. Just moving wrong could split an incision open.
Plus, you never know when a course of steroids will be required, or you can lapse into a bout of depression. Especially when you have two idiots calling you a racist.
While I enjoy seeing Princess Catherine, she gladdens my day, I don't need to see her every day to be assured that she is alive. I respect her privacy. There are so many dreadful things happening around the world, it is vile to imagine the various conspiracies that are currently rife.

It is PARLIAMENT who decides on the next monarch (while I suspect they will choose William they do NOT have to and there is precedent for this, look up James II) regardless of the actual line of succession - and no, Harry will NEVER be on the throne no matter what happens. He might think he could but at a guess he's too dim to actually have looked into British history and discover the facts.

I’m disappointed but not that surprised. When she was first pregnant and got sick with Prince George the media was this bad as well. They hounded Catherine POW similar to the way they hounded Diana POW.
At the time people asked her to leave the Royal Family if she couldn’t work mostly by women!

Diana wasn't hounded as such, Diana CALLED the media and told where and when they could find her - unfortunately it all went tragically wrong in Paris through unforeseen circumstances, mainly because they decided to use a drunk driver known for unsafe speeding and they also refused to wear seat belts. But even then the media stated she had called them and told them where she'd be leaving from so they could take their photos, they were certainly instrumental but they were there sort of by arrangement.
Megan Kelly even had that awful little man Dan Wotton on her show and he is trying to make it like that he knows whats going on with the royal family. These people should be ashamed of them selves.

I can’t understand….we were told, right away, that she needed until at least Easter to recover….we were then updated unnecessarily because of the chaos, that she was okay and recovering. Why did it suddenly blow up in MSM as if she had disappeared and no one knew why? It’s not even Easter yet! We knew we wouldn’t see her yet, so why is this such a big deal. Anyone that cares for Princess Catherine should want only one thing…that she have enough time to recover properly and return in full strength and health.

I have been so disappointed in the coverage, 1st demanding to know where she is, even though we were told she would be back after Easter.
2nd the stupidity of photogate, a simple mothers day picture broke the internet and caused people to lose their minds, with the media acting like she had faked a picture of weapons of mass distruction to provoke a war.
The whole missing Kate saga I personally found disturbing not only because of the conspiracies, but as someone who has a true crime podcast, the number of genuinely missing/murdered people whose stories get less than 1% of the coverage Kate got is so upsetting, imagine the difference that could be made if all that energy had been put into more worthwhile issues.

I received like all people in the UK, the bulletin from the Palace which informed us that the Princess of Wales would be undergoing surgery, recovering in private and would be away from public duties until after Easter. For me that was enough. Many years ago I had abdominal surgery, common amongst many women and Yes the recovery period is 6-8 weeks. The first 6 weeks having many limitations such as being barred from driving. People seem to think that because Catherine is a public figure, they own her, they do not.
I also do not think they realise just how much work and energy goes into a public appearance. They should think how much effort they put in to say attend a wedding and then think, the Princess of Wales has to do this almost every day.
As for the likes of Stephen Colbert, his attempt at humour was sickening. Were I a rich woman, I would bring a lawsuit against him for defamation and downright lies.
As for Piers Morgan, he should remember that it was the Duchess of Sussex who cost him his job with This Morning. I am very disappointed in him.
I really hope that Catherine feels well enough to join the Family for the Easter Service at St.George's Windsor. It will be good to have her back.

I wish the press would stop referring to her as Kate Middleton. She is Princess Catherine of Wales. Note how they always refer to her by her former name and William is always a prince. To taint them with marriage problems is about as low as you can get during a health crisis. This has been handled so poorly by the crown and the press.

I have been absolutely shocked by their treatment of Princess Catherine! The constant barrage of evilness & attacks has brought this whole episode to an alarming point to media & broadcasting! Never have I've seen so much ugliness & ill intentions. All the work Princess Catherine has done on mental health & it's affects on a person are lost. A prime example has been the individual taking a video & making $200,00 pds for capturing her & William! The first agenda should be a plan of action by the RF advisors on protocols, then efficiency! I would, as Princess Catherine, have that right to advocate clearly the process that I expect & want. For the media part, cut the obsession & fueling aspect! I am saddened by her treatment & especially with Princess Catherine being a mother of 3 children. We must do better as humans.
There was an incident when Catherine was in hospital whilst pregnant with George. As a former nurse, we are taught to be careful of ''confirming'' something unintentionally. The press would often 'blag' to gain confirmation. Thus the nurse, refused to comment but in doing so had confirmed that Catherine was in hospital. That nurse, sadly due to the pressure of the press etc committed suicide. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS. RIP Jacintha Saldanha. So surprised no one has mentioned this.

Yeah, I live in Quebec and I NEVER hear about Royal gossip usually people here couldn't care less. But we had this garbage about the supposed affair and photos hoping *gasp*. Also, people did freak out when she was pregnant with George and in the hospital. A nurse was pranked by a radio show and then killed herself. Journalists go too far as usual. They should know better. Rose did nothing wrong, it is utterly unacceptable to involve a random family in these disgusting articles.

Most people are very private about serious matters of the body. Why should Catherine be different? The media want to spread terrible lies so that if forces her to come out and tell them her business.
