The color of the logo on the white makes it almost invisible. My impression is that, throughout her life, she has climbed the ladder of fame while stepping on the guys who lifted her up each rung, beginning with her own father. The Spotify executive's unflattering assessment, the embarrassment of the Archewell failure (lots of work by producers, little by Meghan, and making the interviews about Meghan instead of the guests), as well as persistently showing up as if having made some type of meaningful contribution to a number of organizations or groups (but without having actually done anything) all indicate Meghan's life is based upon taking the credit without having put in the work. Her Invictus Games performances have been some of the worst. She's is famous only because she married a famous person, which gave her an international platform, all while portraying herself as a perpetual victim. Her behavior is really quite nauseating.

Nutmeg's handwriting is fancy cursive (at best), but there's no link between the brand name and the symbol chosen for the logo. I mean, what the H*ll is that? I can't make out any letters or what the image is supposed to be. I touch type spent years in an office, then changed careers (days of manual typewriters) then I trained as a nursing. I was approached by a colleague who had to submit her project for some advance course or something, so she asked me to type it up for her. Yep, no problem. Not wishing to be unkind but I really struggled to make sense of the gold on beige squiggles which looked like unravelled bits of wool. My mother was a trained, professional calligrapher & so am really familiar with embellished and ornate lettering.

I think the biggest fail is not actually having a product ready to accompany the launch. All there is so far is branding. Consumers' first question when it comes to a new brand is "What are they selling?". In this case, all we know is that it *might* be tableware and candles but their trademark application apparently hasn't even been approved yet. You can't expect consumer interest to last if you literally have nothing to offer. This was all very misadvised and it smacks of desperation. Meghan would have been far better off producing a simple eco-friendly beauty brand but that doesn't really go with her clear aspiration to exude luxury. She seems to just make bizarre decisions on every new project.

on the contrary, Megs' ""calligraphy"" is fascinating. It consists of big Swoops, usually back over the word. That's supposed to be a sign of self canteredness....and i've NEVER seen swoops as large curving back over the words as Megs does. The capitals have swoops as well, but they're curved in on themselves. The ballgown in the mansion reminds me of Miss Haversham wandering around in a cobwebby old mansion.
For me, Meghan walking in a ball gown in a mansion looks desperate and creepy...ironic that even the door is closing on her!

The Meg's desire to be seen as a royalty while doing every unroyal things is an amusement on it's own. She's trying so hard to appear like an elegant classy upper class lady but all people see is a cheap untrusworthy copycat brand. If only The Meg and her husband quit the monarchy in good terms and maintain good relationship with them instead of playing victim and constantly attack the RF their business would get a leg up considering the connections RF has in elite circles. I work in PR and marketing. NEVER would I be involved in a launch before a trademark is approved, staff is hired and products are ready to sell. None of this is baked.
For someone whose sole claim to fame is a letter she wrote apparently at 11 objecting to women being depicted as being unjustly assumed to be stuck in the kitchen, I’m loving the irony of her being in a kitchen, selling cooking ware and kitchen produce primarily marketed to women is just too funny.

I can't make heads or tails out of the logo...some say there is a subtle (hidden?) HRH in it....seriously, it's just so amateurish. Also as is part of her MO, she either didn't seek and/or didn't take branding/business advice from experts. They would have told her to wait to launch until she had all relevant trademarks, go for a more streamlined name and a more relatable aesthetic. If there was ever a time to seek/take advice from an expert, this is it. I bet that she alone came up with the name, look, logo, colors, etc. I mean she can do it all, right? No common sense. 2k for a tote where you can get at someplace else for two dollars or so and you can add the logo or paint for 10 dollars extra. As a parent and a former preschool teacher, I used to have totes to give to my students in the classroom to fabric paint on. It cost me 40 dollars to bring totes (12) to the classroom and used the vary colors of fabric paint item from home to the classroom. I love art things.

My daughter is a designer of home goods. I was surprised to learn how the business works. Celebrities contract with her company to design and produce product for them. MM could have contacted my daughter who would have designed the whole line for her, including logo, and then marketed it accordingly. The brand's full name is FOURTEEN syllables long. It's probably the longest I have ever heard in my life. And as someone who has designed several logos, that uterus-looking thing is not what I'd use. That gold and cream color combo is so overdone too. Nothing about it makes the brand pop.
I would have gone for a simpler, three-syllable name and a logo that featured only one letter, or none at all.
