Those cars are very quick. I believe they are closest in terms of general performance to Formula 1.

They are lighter but less powerful than INDYCAR and an INDYCAR would be faster than these cars. O’Ward and Palou have driven both
In other words these are more nimble on a road course than an INDYCAR but are way down on power so still slower over a lap
The main straight was my "dragstrip" in Gran Turismo 6...memories 😂😂😂
The final corner is so hard to get right in Forza. Alex worked it smoothly 😎

With SF in Gran Turismo Sport, I’d love to drive this circuit in GT again would be so much fun. I also drove or should I say rode this circuit in Moto GP games. Can’t remember which ones probably 07/08.
But it’s Gran Turismo that brings back the awesome memories from this circuit. 👊

@@swine13 rip, usually i play more on gr. 1 lobbys but when I dont find a good gr1 lobby I go search for a super formula lobby, its fun

tomeddie14 In an ideal world, I wish they could switch between the Super Formula and Super GT tracks for each years Japan GP. I miss them racing at Fuji and seeing Autopolis for the first time would be neat. Suzuka is still good tho and one of my favorites
I want both suzuka and fuji to be in f1 but motegi is a good track also damn japanese knows how to built a good track

I got no ideea how super formula sounds in real life / not onboard so i can't compare it with f1, but f1 in real life even these days sounds awesome, especially that honda, it's amazing, definetly not as good as the v8 or the lovely v10, but it still is awesome and loud

@@verdehat8694 Agreed. You'd imagine if he were to win it they'd look at him. He'd have beaten Auer in the process so surely that would pique their interest. Let's see if Marko attends any of the remaining rounds.
Well, 3 years later and Alex can pretty much get a drive in any series he wants. I really don't think F1 is worth it though. Extremely skilled drivers like Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Esteban Ocon and George Russell only have 2 wins between them. Even Fernando Alonso, one of the greastest of all time, hasn't won a race in 10 years, even though he has been performing pretty well. Yeah in Indycar you need a big team to win championships, but you can still win a race if you are skilled enough even in a small team. See Graham Rahal's latest performance in the RLL car.
is it just me or super formula sounds better than F1?

It doesent , Just that on the mic the F1 hybrid system make the cars sound strange. But if you actually listen to an F1 car out of the Tcam or live then you hear how it sounds really cool.
This sounds similar to a F2 car which isnt bad, tho F2 has a 6 cylinder opposed to this 4 cylinder, so f2 sound slightly better imo.

I wonder if Super Formula drivers need to worry about hearing loss, they're obviously not as loud as F1 cars (V10/V8 era), but still.
I think that's just the sound from the camera. But there was no driver in the V10 or 8 era who had hearing loss so..
Most drivers wear ear plugs
At the speeds this is going the biggest issue is wind noise so you still very much need ear protection
You don't hear wind noise even, just race engineer and the up shifting beep. Norris says it in one of his stream

Great lap, but I find this track kind of boring and uninteresting. I think it's too wide and there are too many long but easy turns. The last sector has some nice stuff though. I can't pinpoint it exactly, this track just doesn't excite me at all.

It is a great layout many elevation and fast corner ....i mean street circuits are flat and boring too you know
@@amnzash9292 Man too many off camber boring corners with tons of understeering ,for me its boring in iRacing and VR.
