(SLS) Artemis 1 launch Road closures! Traffic Advisory AND MORE!
I really wanted to make a video as informational as possible for those flocking to the Space Launch System (Artemis 1) launch! SLS Will be the most anticipated launch event that has happened since the Apollo moon missions. And as everyone knows, the traffic back in 1969 was NOT the amount of traffic we have today! Even though some news organizations have been telling everyone that the space coast will be flooded with visitors, I wanted to go into more detail about what you would expect during launch day scheduled for August 29th 2022 at 8:33 AM (EST)
I spoke to the Titusville Police Department, the Florida State Highway Patrol, and NASA Badge Office so that I could give YOU the "inside scoop"!
This video goes into detail of road closures, bridge closures, and a a few of the best spots for launch viewing! If you're planning on heading to the wasps nest with people or wish to avoid the crowds, this video gives you a few options to choose from so that you can have a great launch experience!
Be prepared for a long duration car ride!
Pack plenty of water, snacks. and cash!
Be thoughtful of others! Everyone is just trying to enjoy the launch as much as you are.
Remember that this is a Monday morning launch. Students will be going to school during launch hours. Slow down and be cautious! ⚠️
