NASA's Artemis 1 and Apollo 17 Moon Mission Tribute

Dedicated to Artemis 1 and SLS Personnel, Artemis 1 tribute to all employees.
This is a tribute to the EPIC launch of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket for Artemis 1. At 1:47am on November 16 2022, NASA, ESA and Lockheed Martin launched their new moon rocket, the most powerful rocket ever launched in history. So I've taken all the very best video and audio clips that NASA has provided and compiled them into an pretty cool, cinematic experience as I do for many launches for my viewers. I recommend listening with high quality speakers for the full experience. Since I have been a huge Apollo area fan since I was a little boy I enjoyed adding the one and ONLY night launch of the Apollo program. It was Apollo 17 that launched December 5 1972, pretty close to the same time and I witnessed Artemis 1 launch in the early morning hours. The voice of Gene Kranz is heard as we now enter a different area of exploring space and the moon. It is now a exciting time AGAIN in our country of the United States of America. The hard work, long hours and dedication to all the employees and personnel will never be forgotten on this day for me. I hope you enjoy!

During #Artemis I, Orion lifted off aboard the SLS rocket, and travel 280,000 miles (450,000 km) from Earth and 40,000 miles (64,000 km) beyond the far side of the Moon, carrying science and technology payloads to expand our understanding of lunar science, technology developments, and deep space radiation. Through Artemis missions, NASA will land the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon, paving the way for a long-term lunar presence and serving as a steppingstone to send astronauts to Mars.
