  • Abbott and Costello visit NASA to see Artemis 1 launch! (Funny Short)
    Hello Friends!!
It all began during the first Artemis 1 launch attempt for SLS back on August 28th 2022. I had set up my tent, canopy and grill with friends when a nice gentleman came by to speak to me about my set up. Many came and went that day but Mr. Richard Kramer was a special one. He came all the way from Massachusetts just to see this launch! His enthusiasm and knowledge about life was kind of heart warming. After he took my chair (hahaha) we both started talking about NASA, NASA missions, SLS and Orion and soon found out that he had the same passion that I did about spaceflight. So within conversation, I threw in that I had a CZcams cannel that covered launches and missions for NASA and SpaceX. He quickly wanted to support me by giving me a subscribe without even looking at any content which felt very cool, not something I would do but... Many of us did not hang out late, as SLS was scheduled to lift off at 8am the next morning. Well, as I normally get I was too excited to even sleep. On my way to the restroom I hit my foot on a rock and fell hurting my knee. While I sat there doing the Peter Griffin "ahh, ahh" noises from Family Guy, Richard came out of know where to help make up and stubble back to my area. I thanked him and once again we parted ways. As the morning came the area was getting extremely busy with visitors. Even though I was hurting still from my fall I got up and began to work on breakfast. Before I knew it here came Richard, "Gus I just wanted to come by and make sure your still okay from your fall". We hung out for a while then it was time to claim the spot you were going to be in for the launch. Delay after delay and many of you know turned into a scrub for that day. We were going to have a do over on September 1st 2022. As hand shakes went around from great people, I let a few know that I was coming back to the same spot next time.
Before I knew it it was time to return back to The Cape to see if the second attempt was going to be it! Would Artemis 1 launch this time? I brought my family along that day as you can see on this video here:

I hear my name getting yelled out by someone from across the road. It's Richard! My rescue guy! haha! He was very nice to my family and spoke all about the 1st launch attempt. I found it very nice about all the compliments he was giving about all my video's on my channel. He began giving me all the advice he could think of to help my channel grow. I think he told his entire family up North to check it out, LIKE and to Subscribe! :)
Needless to say, the second attempt was scrubbed as well. Again everyone shook hands and went on their way back home, where ever that may be.
Which brings me to Launch Day for Artemis 1 and SLS. Was THIS going to be the day? This time the launch was set for November 16th at 1:04AM (EST) It was a work day so my family couldn't come along this time. It was just me and my friend Ryan there, when all of a sudden I hear my name being yelled out AGAIN! Could it be that Richard would have flown all the way back to Florida to see this launch again? It sure was! As he walked up his first words where, "Gus I wouldn't have missed this launch for the world knowing my friend from YourspaceTV was here"! haha!!
He then said, " I knew you were going to be here so I wrote a Abbott and Costello script that I would like to know if you would want it for you to read on your channel. It's about SLS and would like to know what the YourspaceTV host thinks about it". Well, I hadn't really known much about Abbott and Costello really, other than I thought it was that slap funny comedy my grandmother maybe watched. After I heard what he had written, I told him, " Richard, DON'T MOVE, Stay right there, and let me get my camera."
And there you all go, from there came this video. I thought it was brilliant! As I began to edit this video, I started to binge watch some of Abbott and Costello skits so that the editing looked smooth and perhaps I can get the actions right. I learned to respect much more the comedy from back then.
I truly hope you all enjoyed, this short video.
Now to work on the Artemis 1 launch video! I have 2 hours of footage! haha!! Thank you so much for watching, and if you really read the description, please let me know in the comments below! I'm sure that Richard would love to read each and every one!
    Have a Great week everyone!
