    I feel like i've had 2 different lives. One without Cyber. One with and now dominated by CYBER. I don't have to tell you which one was actually thrilling.

    I think we just need to carefully choose the aspects of technology that benefit our lives and leave the rest behind. Remote work so I can live in an amazing landscape full of beauty, adventure, and my circle of people? Absolutely. CZcams for learning? To some degree. Constant social media doomscrolling? Nope. Until I figured this out I, too wandered both physically and metaphorically.

    This is an insanely important topic nobody really talks about. Everybody stays in one place throughout their whole lives and that can't be healthy to live such a stagnant, boring, routine life without real new experiences. Problem is: how can you create your tribe as you travel to have a sense of belonging somehow?
    (Also, is it possible to raise children on the go?)

      That's really an intriguing question. however maybe you need to have a mix of both, not a stagnant boring life but with a mix of adventure. don't you think?

      @@AttachmentAdam How can you have such mix in our modern life, really? It's all monotonous, maybe, just maybe apart for weekends. But how "far" can you go into life experiences via 1.5 days?
      Also, there is something about us stopping to be the nomads we were. There's something that living in motion probably added to our lives. It stirs the energy somehow...

      @@Adriana.Gabriela Not sure I understand what you mean. Notice people in modern life. We are all an average sum of the people we're friends with. If you wanna be part of society - you gotta so what society tends to do. And the vast majority is doing the mundane job-home-job routine. Taking their kids to the mall or jungle gym in the weekend. And on and on it goes. If you wanna get out of that loop - you will be cut off of society. Hence, no tribe for you. Therefore, most of us, by inertia of life, have lost touch with our nomad ancestor needs. You can take ownership of your life and cut yourself off society, sure. Question was if there was a way to still find balance between those parts of life

    • @Adriana.Gabriela
      @Adriana.Gabriela Před měsícem +1

      @@eladbari You won't, you will have/need to find another tribe. And usually a smaller one. Plus, why do you even want to live in a tribe whose way of living you don't like? Live your life the way you want, and people who respect that will eventually come. If you're living like a pawn, most of that is your own choice. It doesn't mean all problems will disappear, but 99% of it *is* outnown choice 99% of the time. What you're experiencing when finding excuses the way you are is called cognitive dissonance

    Nature moves, breathes and changes. When we lose touch with nature, we feel restless.
    We also feel restless when our needs aren't being met where we are.
    Humans aren't always meant to move back in time to the way we were.
    There is a discomfort in evolving. That doesn't necessarily indicate that structures of the past are better .
    But we can always make changes for the better and take the helpful aspects of things past and future to create the best life that is available to us here and now.
