I just want to provide a bit of a disclaimer. Perhaps you spoke to this in a later video, so I apologize for repeating if you did. Those 8 bolts that mount the flywheel to the flywheel hub are not intended to be removed.
I picked up a later model Brown band 115 and had been having trouble timing it, after checking TDC and the reference point .414 it turned out it had the outter fly wheel one bolt hole out 😂 to they had the pointer positioned to .414 when it was at TDC😂. Was a cheap and easy fix and all is good now
when you put belt on distributor make sure you check tdc with gage don't rely on marks . Can be half a tooth either way. Motor will run terrible if half a tooth even melt a piston
Remove the bolts from top of flywheel you can defiantly put that wheel anywhere you want along the bolt pattern. I’m not sure why you’re not following the book to set your arrow for TDC etc
Love the videos, just recently started on this series. You seem to be doing quite alright without a service manual, but if you do want one, I just so happen to have one I'd be willing to scan some pages from.

I have 71 Mercury 1150 EL how do I take off rotor on distributor
I haven't watch all your videos; isn't primary pick up 4 to 6 degrees BTDC?
Seems like you could 'modify' an old spark plug to function as that special tool. Just have to figure out how to hollow-out the guts...
IT'S CALLED DWELL.
Your recording yourself. Why did you randomly put that back on the flywheel hahahahaha.
I didn't want to see your "pointer" anyways....Just have to worry about the next video. :--}
