  • Stir Fry Spinach with Anchovies
    Sayur Goreng Bayam-Ikan Bilis

    Ingredients:
    400gm spinach/bayam (separate the stems)
    3-4 cloves of garlic, crushed
    1 tbsp goji berries
    Handful of ikan bilis, washed & pounded
    Handful of fried ikan bilis
    White pepper powder
    Ikan bilis stock powder
    Little water
    Salt to taste
    Oil for cooking
    Steps:
    Heat up a little oil in a wok. Fry the raw ikan bilis until fragrant. Then, add in the stems and garlic. Also add in a little salt and sprinkle some water. Allow the stems to soften.
    Now, add in the spinach leaves, cook for 2 minutes. Then, add in the goji berries, stock and pepper powder. Cook for another 1 minute. It’s done! Garnish with crispy fried ikan bilis. Enjoy!
