I had a buddy that used to rob banks. Best way to get away is limit the laws you're going to break. For example, driving the wrong direction just adds felonies, don't use a gun as most tellers are trained to hand over money and not put up a fight, and you'll just add years to your sentence if you get caught, wear bright clothing or a bandage on your face so when they ask for a description the only thing they can remember is the bandage, and finally, use a bike as a getaway vehicle. Bicycles can get you out of the immediate area before a response, and then you can switch to a car that doesn't need to out run the cops.
And banks don’t carry much money nowadays which can be good news bad

Out of All my car chases on my last 3 I learned to stay calm. And drive as safe as possible while speeding of course. Don’t blindly run thru red lights and stop signs. But remember stay CALM. Huge chance you might actually lose them. But don’t give them more than 2-3 minutes of them chasing. Lose them as soon as possible.
I was only in one chase when I was about 14 years old in freshman year with my homie. We took his mom’s car and we were dipping by a park when a cop chilling there turned his lights on and began to chase us. The homie didn’t think about it twice. He just stepped on the gas and we were gone. We hid in a little street and heard how the cop passed by us on the main street going towards the freeway. He must have thought he saw a ghost 😂😂😂
I'd run a Vic I've escaped 8 pursuits in it so far. Plus there are millions of them to blend in, they've got plenty of room for bags and a crew, with great performance and handling. They also use a ford modular motor the same one in your Koenigsegg. Super easy to modify and discreetly put down a lot of power.

The #1 thing about a 'getaway' is that you must both premeditate it, but also improvise.
I would pick a vehicle like the chrysler 200 2012 with the 3.6l V6.
Unassuming, blends in, 0-60 in 5 sec flat but agile as a cat at 2900 lbs curb weight.
Your getaway strategy must include backroads, or a second vehicle, or ditching the vehicle entirely, for if it is that you wish to attempt to flee in the city, you must do so before the helicopters are able to track you.
If the helicopters get their eye, you must go to the backroads, or find a way to get into a second vehicle without being spotted. Premeditation comes in with the second vehicle, improvisation comes in with the where and how.
If you use untracked communications I believe you could certainly set up the getaway spot quite quickly and it has been performed recently to get away from if I remember correctly LAPD. The suspects pulled into a parking garage and left in a different car and the police were left wondering.
Otherwise, night time is your best friend, know the roads you plan on driving, and do not be anywhere that you call home. Simple.
Probably not gonna be a noticed thing, but the 350z is a great idea. Rear seats for loot, easy enough to find, and enough speed and tune ability for a great getaway

I would drive a Dark Gray Civic, Accord, Corolla or Camry, using the base model versions. Easy to blend cars. You could also tune any of them up without making them look unusual.

Funny as hell that he mentioned the GTI. I actually did manage to run from the police outside of Atlanta in my 2009 GTI and escaped in about 10 minutes. I will however agree with the assessment. It's not very fast compared to a squad car, but it will lose them pretty quickly if you're making turns or maneuvering through tight spots in traffic. I used the shoulder of the road when there was only two open lanes and two semis blocking both and he did not follow me around them. As soon as I knew he was off me I went up the first exit. Then the SUV came up in front of me and turned on its lights. In about 3 seconds I decided to just hook a left and start flying down this road at 120. Within about 30 seconds this guy gave up and I realized he wasn't chasing me anymore. I'm not exactly sure why he gave up. My guess is they were either called off or I simply left the jurisdiction.

Imagine: let’s say you have 3 ex-cops chasing you. That’s 3 salaries you’re paying for in the field, plus additional headcount for safety monitors, police strategy coordinator (situation room), and then the expensive equipment...
in the end, only the rich guys can afford it. But they’d sooner just buy a supercar and enjoy that at the track in their time trials.

I was 16 when I last escaped the cops. I was going 70 in a 35, cop saw me and yelled, I looked back and saw him as I was going around a curve, so I pulled over. He didn't see that I pulled over and went blowing by me.

Best story I have is when I was going 75 in a 45, had a cop see me and got chased, so I smashed the gas and swerved through traffic then got in between 2 cars and got way the fuck down to the speed limit and the cop flew past not knowing I just blended right in
@@jameszak8817 That's pretty much the best way to it. The cops always assume you're running and the adrenaline dump they get from the chase causes their field of view to narrow and they miss it when people slow down and blend into traffic.
@@2011blueman Exactly, has worked so many times and best thing I've ever found. Just make sure they won't notice you. Just try to blend in but make sure you do blend in, XD. Only really works for things that don't stand out though. Unless you're good at driving without lights. Very interesting thing to do by the way

Back in the early 60s my great-uncle Gerald had a brand new Chevelle. He had a switch under the steer shaft that turned off his brake lights. He would speed on highways and often get chased by cops at night and outrun them. He has the same Chevelle to this day.

The tesla cybertruck is almost perfect. It goes 0-60 in just 2.6 seconds, has 600 horsepower, is made of stainless steel and is apparently bulletproof, and us super quiet because it's electric.

Most of the 40% of bank robberies that AREN'T solved within 24 hours don't get solved at all. Those that do, it's usually because the robbers are caught robbing a DIFFERENT bank at a later date, and then connected to the previously unsolved robbery.

I am from Trinidad. I remembered when I was in a maxi taxi and a police truck was chasing us. The driver went through a back road with a lot of roads and drove in circles, then waited for the truck to pass on the opposite road. He then went through another back road, drove to his house, parked the vehicle in a garage, we all got out and had to walk back to the bus route and take another maxi taxi.
