That was the best "Welcome to Country" I have ever heard. It is so nice to have someone put meaning into the welcome, rather than it seeming like a placatory obligation. Many thanks for the valuable information you have provided.

great man calling for the ancestral spirits. They are very real and guided me down Mt Warning in pitch black dark. I asked for permission to enter of course.
The glow in the dark mushrooms along the path helped. Got caught out without head torch left in the car.
Everyone must have it once including politicians and police.

The burning Acasia tree gave Moses his inspiration to write the Ten Commandments. In homage to the tree, Moses had a cabinet of acasia wood made and lined with gold inside and out to store the acasia wisdom written on stone tablets.

"Before being named Sydney in the 1770s, the land was originally called ‘Cadi’. ‘Gal’ means people, so the Gadigal literally means the people of Cadi. The Gadigal people were/are the Indigenous Australians whose traditional lands are located in what is now the city of Sydney.
The name Cadi comes from the grass tree species Xanthorrhoea, a native plant that local Aboriginal communities would make sections of spear shaft from the stems and glue together with the resin." www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/Stories/2018/You-are-in-Cadi-Uncovering-the-story-of-the-Gadig

Well, now it got burned down with nothing good coming from it.
Don't over humanise plants, it does not do them justice.
They are very selfless creatures, i wonder why people don't listen to them, even though they have the great tool of DMT to do so.
