Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing. If you need mind-altering drugs, to do that, then you're a weak person. There's plenty of people out there, that can coherently cast doubt of something, without being drug induced. And most of these so called, "culturally laid down models of behaviour", are there for good reason. I'm admired with Joe Rogan memory when he says about accepting a hard fact and starts to see beauty.. then happiness then more beauty and so on then started to cry.. I remembered an experience I had like this... But not so fresh in my memory. Thanks!!
The flower part at the end gave me chills. You can tell that changed his entire life. This same concept happened to me the other night. I always had intrusive negative thoughts.. and in bed after smoking some weed and listening to some delta frequencies I started to see these negative things, and then suddenly with my will, just a simple decision, they pivoted straight into something positive.. ie kids running and screaming in terror, to kids running and screaming as they play tag. It’s weird because I’m not new to spirituality and all that comes with it, the healing etc, but this was profound. Ever since I feel way more in control of what even happens to me in a day. It’s almost like your thoughts really do create your reality, like I’ve always said

"When my thoughts went positive, blossomed, like some of the most beautiful flowers you can imagine..." (Joe) I have had experiences in meditation (/contemplation) where I felt an inner response to some yearning request, as if to say, "I'll meet you halfway." When you're exploring the inner mind/psyche, you're basically talking to yourself, or traveling inside your own being, the bigger You; so I guess you have to have a prerequisite *faith* that this inner dimension IS there, it IS who you ARE, and to think of it accordingly -- quietly but with focus, setting ego drama and fantasies aside for the moment. And to "expect" an answer back.
I believe the reason it is so hard to remember something like this, is because it's very hard to remember a feeling or a state of mind in general. It can be like trying to remember how being happy feels like when you are feeling sad. It's difficult.
Bring on PsychedSubstance! He's an interesting guy and a real guide for those who use substances. His content is both educational and entertaining. I think you two would have a great conversation over psychedelics.
My experience on dmt is always the feeling of all my senses melting together so I believe what you see on dmt is what the information of reality actually looks like and dmt probably acts as a neurotransmitter to regulate the boundaries between your senses so you can differentiate between touch and sight and smell etc because in your brain it’s all just information and I think it’d make sense that without the filter our brain puts the universe through it’d probably look something like the dmt experience.
Wow. Very interesting take. You know how people halusinate in floating rooms where salt water holds you, no sound inside, no smell? So the mind starts to invent shit

When my Nephew did DMT he came out of it saying that a being of light told him that his father never wanted him to be born was trying to hurt him while he was in the womb it messed him up he ended up attacking his father and then spending a few months in a physic unit to recover . I am not sure maybe the DMT was laced with something else I just wonder if more people have negative effects from DMT .
The first time I saw one of Alex Grey's DMT pictures, I was, like, Oh my God, that's what it's like, even though it is not as real, there is a tangible sense of connection to those images if you see them first after taking DMT. In my case, it was 20 years after, and I still got goosebumps, almost like a micro mystical experience. I have always wondered about those eyes that are everywhere in the DMT experience. I tentatively think that you are being made to realize that everything in natural is intelligent or that nature is just one great intelligence, because, as humans, when we see eyes it indicates an active intelligence that can make decisions. I once read about a theory that the earth or universe created intelligent beings in order to be able to examine itself.
"this earth is the work of an intelligent being, a spirit-a creative and intelligent spirit that has designed everything to be the way it is. My grandfather says that nothing is here just by chance, that nothing happens by accident - whether good or bad - and that there is a reason for everything that takes place …" from "Fingerprint of the Gods", Thief in the Night chapter, Paul Sifki of the Hopi Spider clan (native americans)
Joe Rogan is not the smartest (though he's reasonably intelligent), and he's not the most knowledgeable. But he's remarkably self-aware and honest with himself, which is admirable. I think those qualities are the major reason he's so fascinating.
What i found through watching him with Elon is that he isnt the smartest but he knows enough to carry conversation and try to understand. Makes him the perfect host for those reasons.
He atleast really tries to understand things, even if it has to explained twice to him. His weakness imo is that he is too gullible for believing stories about mystery and "hidden knowledge" .
Actually, the best point made in this video was by Kurt, believe it or not. He said “And even if all this shit is in my head, why is it in my head?” Really provides a lot to think about whilst being a very simple question.
Exactly. We still don't have an actual answer as to why we dream? Our dreams mean nothing. Our dreams are described as our subconscious thoughts, but what do our dreams mean, and why do they exist, if in the end, the mean nothing.
@@tiernanastronskas261 Jiidu Krishnamurti said that we dream because we have shit we didn't solve in our life and the Brain brings it up in the dreams so that it could resolve the problems... So basically the less problems we will have, the less stressed we agree the better we will sleep..
True, I've wondered that same thing many times. I've never done dmt but I've done shrooms and seen and experienced some crazy shit (been to "heaven" and "hell"), but logically you think, why from an evolutionary standpoint would ingesting this chemical result in having this crazy psychedelic experience? Makes me lean toward there being a god and our brains were designed and meant to have some "easter eggs" or special, extra features that can be accessed if "unlocked" with keys (psychedelic molecules) Obviously I'm completely just talking out of my ass but the whole thing is mysterious... And couldn't ever be explained (unless God came down and told us why it happens.) No test tubes and scientific experiments could ever fully explain it. All I know is it's awesome and if there's a god, it's much appreciated we're designed to be able to have these psychedelic experiences.

I believe the reason it is so hard to remember these profound experiences is because once we are out of it, our mind tries to apply logic to it so we can make sense of it but it is something that cannot be explained through logic (of this world at least)
Yes thats it that's why I don't like the "concensus" reality it's a lower level for sure. Yet people still have these illogical bs beliefs about religion, etc. The majority actually do lol
This reminded me so much of when me and my friends did DMT. I was 18 at the time so it was quite a few years ago but I remember certain aspects of it like it was yesterday. The main things I remember are 1: We were sitting in a sump at the local park, it had this dirt path you went down and it was a pretty steep decline you had to walk down but it was winding so it wasnt so bad. and once you got down there it was a big dirt circle surrounded by trees and bushes, and while I was down there I was sitting on top of the park table that was there and I was staring at the trees, and I had become so sensitive to the world around me that it felt like I could feel the trees breathing. It was more then seeing, I could literally feel, in my own body what the trees were feeling and it was so surreal. It felt like every cell of every leaf on every tree had become a part of my being and I had just accepted this new life into my own being and it made me feel so at peace with where I was and what was happening and that alone was one of the best most unforgettable moments of my life. After that I took one more pretty big hit of it and thats when shit got wild. All I can recall after that point is no longer feeling as if I had a body. Im pretty sure I was laying down but for all I know I could have been standing/sitting/whatever ya know. And all I was, was this consciousness floating in what was I guess whatever reality I had become a part of at that exact moment, and I lost track of how long I was like this. It felt like FOREVER that I was just floating in this vast, infinite space that seemed to be composed of this almost white fog that I physically couldnt feel, but knew that I was a part of it and was moving through it. I didnt really see a bunch of complex geometric shapes like a lot of people say they do, but I definitely at some point felt this strong, overwhelming presence of something else there with me. I cant remember what it was but I just know I felt SOMETHING there. Almost like when someones hovering over your shoulder, except I had no shoulders lol I was just there, and whatever it was was just there with me, and it was communicating with me through vibrations and every once in awhile i'd feel this amazing vibrations that just connected with whatever I was at that time in such an intense way and I knew that it had no ill will towards me, or towards anything for that matter. Now i'm not really all that religious, but i'm not gunna say their isnt anything there on a spiritual level. At that point in my life I was young and only believe in my own self and my own physical being. AFTER this experience my whole mindset changed and I knew and still know to this day that their WAS 100% something else there with me that doesnt exist in the physical plain. It was 100% a spiritual manifestation of something.. something grand and beyond myself and everyone else, and beyond this world. It was a life changing experience and I think everyone should try DMT once. It will change your life seriously. Oh and p.s. the feeling I had when it stopped an I came back.. the calm I experienced, was unlike anything I could ever have again. Sex.. nope, not even close. Other drugs? hell no, meditation? x500000000 of whatever meditation could do to make you feel calm. But anyway sorry for the novel. Theirs so much more I could say about my experience but this is literally like a full essay I could turn into a university at this point lmao. If you've read this far.. thank you for listening to my story.
I can say the same about my experience with it too. Took a gram dose of it and it was the most beautiful life changing experience I’ve ever had or could imagine. Eye opening to say the very least
@Nour Benaboud I've tried writing before, and I believe if I really put the time and effort I could but I doubt it would be very long lol. Like I said, this was almost 7 years ago. Psychedelics are great, one time I was trippin on too much acid and I was staring at a fire pit and the fire pit turned into a mini world with little people and buildings, that was 2 years ago and it's such an experience to remember. would love to try out the psilocybin mushrooms next, just don't know where to get them, so hard to come by
I did DMT for the first time two nights ago. I am 23. The only other drugs I had had previously was marijuana a ton and mushrooms once. I've been drinking every night for a year. The only things that I can really remember from my DMT trip were two moments. The first is when I had just smoked it. The second I exhaled, I saw red circling, spiralling, kaleidoscope effects, and heard my voice fade into nothing like o was speaking into a fan. And I heard something like the sound of a drill getting louder and louder until nothing but static or white noise on a t.v happend...like I broke through. Like I was going somewhere. But there was no momentum, no inertia, no physical feeling. Just visual. Then at some point, I opened my eyes. My best friend to my right(infront of me) and the one who gave me the DMT to my left. I asked them "did I just OD?" Everything was different, everything was sparkling and blue. Like I was in space, the room, my friends, and me, were in space. The glass window 2 meters infront of me, was reflecting light from the candle on the table infront of me. Once I focused on that (my friends said I said "just let go") and I closed my eyes and went back in. The whole time I was under (I had no concept of time) i could hear a type of(it seemed like) tribal music, like someone shaking maracas and chanting. After exactly 16 minutes, I opened my eyes and felt absolutely completely normal. It was nuts, definitely try it at least once! And make sure you're comfertable and surrounded by ones you love.
Joe's jester shit was spot on. I tried it tonight for the first time. I never made it further than what is called "the waiting room" if I took 1 more hit I would have broken through 100%. These jester looking things I couldn't focus on greeted me in this geometric type room. I made a conscious effort to just breathe and mingle in there. It lasted about 4 mins in total. 10/10 recommend.
My experience on dmt , I tried it for depression and it set of a chain reaction and I relapsed on heroin after been clean, so just be aware if your an addict steer clear of it❤

If you need mind-altering drugs, to do that, then you're a weak person. There's plenty of people out there, that can coherently cast doubt of something, without being drug induced. And most of these so called, "culturally laid down models of behaviour", are there for good reason. When you look at how degenerate society is today, compared to how people behaved in the past, I don't doubt in the slightest, the wisdom of my ancestors. When you're exploring the inner mind/psyche, you're basically talking to yourself, or traveling inside your own being, the bigger You; so I guess you have to have a prerequisite *faith* that this inner dimension IS there, it IS who you ARE, and to think of it accordingly -- quietly but with focus, setting ego drama and fantasies aside for the moment. My experience on dmt is always the feeling of all my senses melting together
so I believe what you see on dmt is what the information of reality actually looks like and dmt probably acts as a neurotransmitter to regulate the boundaries between your senses so you can differentiate between touch and sight and smell etc because in your brain it’s all just information and I think it’d make sense that without the filter our brain puts the universe through it’d probably look something like the dmt experience.

@Bobby go away cop
"this earth is the work of an intelligent being, a spirit-a creative and intelligent spirit that has designed everything to be the way it is. Nah, he's very intelligent.
What i found through watching him with Elon is that he isnt the smartest but he knows enough to carry conversation and try to understand. Makes him the perfect host for those reasons.
S Gurney it’s a social technique believe it or not. And it’s critical for interviewers

Tiernan Astronskas We dream because while our body is asleep, our brain isn’t grounded in reality and is thinking and creating images
@@tiernanastronskas261 Jiidu Krishnamurti said that we dream because we have shit we didn't solve in our life and the Brain brings it up in the dreams so that it could resolve the problems... So basically the less problems we will have, the less stressed we agree the better we will sleep..
Well imagination is a wild thing. What if it just makes your imagination go wild?
I think if this guy started being more mindful about not waiting for sentences to be completed before he interrupts, his whole world would change.
for the most part it’s never one or the other. as annoying as this guy was, at times Rogan can be just as annoying for the same reason. quite often even the clinical meticulous conversationalists can be even more annoying with their silent pause of judgement and self proclaimed ‘knowledge’ based arrogance

Can there be any dangerous side effects whatsoever?

The movie they are talking about, its called from beyond.
I love that movie its been my favorite since i was a kid
Its very interesting.
I’ve seen the jester with the middle finger but I have never tried that before 😭
The thing about DMT is lower doses are probably going to be more enjoyable and you're also going to remember more.
Can you describe the jesters? What they looked like?
this was harder to watch because the guy in black just kept talking over people
Wanneer buitenaardse wezens DMT roken, zien ze Joe Rogan.
Vervolgens vraagt Joe of ze ooit DMT hebben geprobeerd.

My experience on dmt , I tried it for depression and it set of a chain reaction and I relapsed on heroin after been clean, so just be aware if your an addict steer clear of it❤
From Beyond is the movie you're thinking of Joe. Starring Jeffrey Combs, Barbara Crampton. Love it, it is one in my favorites.
Joe speaks about it with such a passion, it's inspiring....
Chef I’m pre sure he’s being sarcastic about it, makes the other guy go crazy tho 🤣🤣🤣
If you do it, you will too. Trust me.

Yup
Joe Rogan is a good listener and he is patient when he's interrupted
His patience was really evident in this video,I wish to be like that. Black shirt was kinda of annoying and disrespectful.
“Pull up the video of a bear tripping on DMT.”
id like to think that we cant have a proper understanding of what DMT really does to you until possibly neauralink is installed in one of the patients that are under it as it will then be able to give you the exact brain waves and chemistry that's going on in there without being hooked up to a bunch of wires and stuff, this could be something very very interesting to see play out in the future.
Search: Vsauce Ayahuasca, there's brain wave scan before and after DMT
would pay to see Joe Rogan take DMT live and then come back in fifteen minutes to tell us about his trip
Most ppl don’t remember strong trips till the next trip
It’s a sacred medicine. I don’t think he would disrespect it like that ❤️
but it would just be him asleep for 10 minutes
The moment u come back u know everything but u also know not to share the truth and than seconds later u forget the truth ur self too
Damn Kurt has come along way. I really enjoy him with Jimmy Dore they work well together 😀

9:59 Joe Rogan physically shows slight annoyance of interrupting dude in black shirt
Jorge Ayala yeah it's definitely noticeable, and pretty bad that the guy in the black shirt is that oblivious that he can't pick up on stuff like that, but I'd guess he's like that a lot and is just that oblivious.
Pay attention to what he was saying as well
The point black shirt guy made after interrupting joe was pretty interesting though
