Yo man finally someone explains the 2/4 drop thanks man.i have a 02 silverado did the shackles i wanna do the hangers but my question is he has no aftermarket spindles or knuckles in the front right i dont want none of that so would i go with the springs aswell?if so can i have the link for those lowering springs and spacer that drop is perfect thnxs again

So I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado on 24s with 275/30r24 tire size on a 2/4 drop, I want to go atleast to a 3/6 will I have to go thinner in tire size so I don’t rub as bad ? And to go lower on my rear will I have to c notch?
Or could I add 2 inch lowering block on my rear to drop my truck more?

I would recommend drop shocks if you have a 4” drop in the front.

Those where 24s but it all depends on how much side wall you want on your tires

Really just depends on what part you plan to use. If you use a drop spindle you can use any brand you want. It’s just cast steel. And in the back it’s just backets so nothing wears out. However shocks will be the first thing to go so invest into a good set of shocks that will fit with your drop. I’ve always used Belltech sport shocks on 2/4 drops with no issues. Now if you use drop springs in the front the aftermarket tends to sag after a while and you may get one side that sags more than the other. I try to have my customers stay away from springs if it fits their budget

I’m thinking not using springs in the front, I’m looking at the 2/4 drop that comes with the spendles and shocks and brackets. Just don’t know what brand to go with but I’m looking toward rough country and bell tech! Thank you, bro 😎

They adjust your axle pinion angle to reduce driveline vibrations

Rear 4 in drop hangers are easier to do . Dont have to mess with gas tank.

I have a 3/4 flip kit on my 01 silverado i install 2 inch lowering shackles on her but when i took it for a drive the frame was hitting on the differential bad i already uninstall them nd when back to the stock ones..what do u recommend me to do

@@compajalisco8467 do you know 100% you are hitting frame? you may only be hitting your bump stops. It sounds unusual for it to be hitting on a 4 in drop unless your leaf springs are shot. A c notch in my area is only like 300$ worthit to me
Yes it was hitting the frame.the flip kit i have its 3/4 but with 2inch shackles it was 6 inches on the back..now i have stock ones back on nd its not hitting..it only hits whit the shackles..

@@christianmunoz8113I lowered mine 3 in the back haven’t had a problem. But bump stops have about 2.5 to 3 inches space between them and the rear axle
