Hello everyone, my name is Claudio and this is my channel El Gallo built. This channel originally started just to document the process of my old build from the ground up. A 2006 Chevy Silverado bagged and bodied on 26s. The truck was nearing the point of reassembly until COVID pandemic made me have to sell it due to economic reasons. Two years of hard work had to be let go.
But now here we are exploring a new route rebuilding a 1968 Chevrolet C10 long bed with a 305 SBC. Lots of work lies ahead, let’s see where we end up! Thank you for your continued support in the channel and for the OGs who were there from the first videos.

Being that this is my first old vehicle build I have a lot to learn. During this phase I was ignorant to the fact of figuring out the correct starter to the truck. Finally Anderlecht two failed attempts from oreillys I went to jegs.com and finally got the correct one. But the fun didn’t stop there. Hey i have the same kit on my 2012 sle crew cab and my dome lights only come on when i have the cargo light on, are you having the same issue?

Was this a long bed converted to short bed or are the beds different
Single cabs have 6.5’ longer beds than the crew cabs 5.5’ . We put the crew cab bed on it.

Loving the build Sir couple questions for ya 1. What’s the width of rims and what’s the offset (should say ET on rear of rim that’s your offset #)… 2. what arm kit setup do you have and what are they narrowed ?

how many amp welder?
Step notch was ridiculously huge for a suspension they won't go up any higher. Top links will hit the bed mounts with a 2" bump. Definitely good work overall. Looks nice. At least
