Actually, a panhard bar never centers the axle, rather it shoves it off to the side as the suspension compresses. A watts link however does hold the axle in the center.

I had a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7Hemi and I did the IHC 4"6" drop kit. That was an absolute nightmare on that rear end. Now I have a 2009 Silverado 5.3 Vortec, and I’m about to lower this one with a 3"5" drop. I actually really don’t wanna do a 4"6" kit again
I WILL SAY THIS, THE RAM IS A PAIN IN THE ASS DOING IT IN YOUR DRIVEWAY. With the IHC 4"6" kit you HAVE to cut off the rear brackets OFF the rear end. Itself. That was the most annoying part but I do appreciate dodge doing the rear suspension as they did and the disc brakes in the rear too. And also the IHC Kit you’re able to use the STOCK front shocks and springs. It was just control arm drop cups

When you tighten the ball joints and tie rods you are supposed to hold the ball joint/tie rod in place and only turn the nut. That is why they have the hex on the end. Also you should not hit aluminum to release ball joints and tie rods. They have tools for that. You can use a pogo jack to put the suspension in the position where it will be on the ground before you tighten the bolts.

Title should read. How to ruin/destroy trucks!
i myself never understod why anyone in the right mind would want to lift a truck let alone lower it...guess ppl just like wasting money on suspension parts and new tires wearing out alot faster...wish i had a shit ton of money to buy a new set of tires every 6-8 months.
But then again being a tech myself at my local dealership...i love seeing crap like this because it brings in easy gravy work on a monthly basis when customers come in crying n whining there ride is shit or they got noise from destroyed tires due to there lift/drop or constantly wearing out of suspension parts due to excessive stress put on them from the lift/drop!

Quite simple, a lifted truck is fun as a toy. Lowered is dumb but lifted is good for off road purposes. Just don't use it as a daily driver.
