Save money for a power adder (turbo, NOS, etc) then add the right suspension and tires to match the cars power output. It's obvious these guys are not happy with the performance.
RSR Coilovers = $2000, the Volk Wheels are $3500 but you can get Enkei TS-5 clone for $1000 plus the cost of everything else. I think these guys and everyone here would have been more impressed if they used the money for an 8-15 psi turbo, sway bars, better tires and better struts

I think you guys did a great job on this and I like watching more of these types of videos from you. I think you should keep doing more shorter builds like this Corolla. This also makes me want one now lol but only thing I think I would do differently is delete 1 of the resonators in addition to the custom axleback exhaust you did.

I have had my eye on this car since it came out. 169hp, 151lb ft tq, six speed manual, and auto rev-matching (bummer for the spirited car guys but will save you a trans so it gets a pass). It needed Android Auto, which it got. Next is more power, maybe a nice bump to 200 with a small turbo. And a sunroof. But Toyota, if you're listening, I'll skip the sunroof if you give it more power. This is a great platform and I'm happy someone made a video with modifying this car. Europe gets the Yaris hot hatch, so Toyota, we know you're capable of cool stuff. Please do it. PS: I don't like hatches. This car changed my mind. I will own one.

People in the car community should welcome more things like this done to cars. There's so much gate keeping in the community where if you don't have the best sportscar and most power than your car is trash. But in reality we don't need the most aggressive setup for a car to enjoy it. Good brakes, tires and suspension is pretty much what you need, and you done even need that.
It's nice to have a car that can take the abuse of daily driving, rain, snow, potholes, road debris kicking up, reliability, and affordable to maintain is something that you miss when you mod a car too far

I honestly haven't watched many of your videos recently, but really enjoyed EVERY SINGLE video in this series; the importance of putting some time and effort into providing information relevant to your viewer base cannot be overstated.
I think a lot of youtube viewers wrench vicariously through the unattainable build series (many of us can barely afford our DD, much less afford a dedicated second build). However, with this series, you build something that your viewers can replicate on their own cars. In terms of ROI for driving enjoyment, modifying a car you drive every day is far more enjoyable than a weekend ride or dedicated track car. If we want to keep the joy of automotive enthusiasm alive, I think this is the way to get there.

You guys do a excellent job with the Corolla Hatchback. I have a CVT 2019 SE Model Smoke Paprika color and I love it. Is a daily car but I put some modifications like TRD wheels, front lip, RSR Down Springs, the OEM Spoiler even the OEM Fog Lights and Mud Flaps. Is a economical car on gas, rides great and I hope do more mods in the future.

Love the blue, and those wheels are stunning on it. Colour reminds me of the latest focus rs. Would love a fiesta in the same colour

You all hit this one in the right direction... I look at the car in a complete different way, hell I would buy one.

Those wheels tho. I normally don't like the gold wheels but dang those look good with that blue.

I loved the simple little build yall did, it reminds me of something I would see in super street magazine or something haha. I wish more content creators would give some attention to more main stream cars like this!

I loved this series. Obviously you guys should keep doing the full on builds that we all love but I'd definitely like to see more of this.
I'd appreciate seeing some mild builds on common used market enthusiast dailies and having you show us what improvements can be had without ruining your street car!

Also Jason did a great job and the outside view of the changes added a lot. The better drivers on your CZcamsr Miata series provide this too and frankly now I want to see it on all your builds

I like the short, quick build series you did here. That being said I also like the longer builds - ie super car killer m3. You guys are killing it. As for the corolla, I don’t think I would have ever looked at a corolla before this build. Of course TE37’s on anything is BA. The blue and gold really pop and works really well. Just goes to show you that the right wheel/tire package can make or break any car.

Love the build, definitely considering the new corolla a lot more seriously now! It would be awesome to see companies like KW come out with a suspension offering for this platform.

I’m a huge fan ever since laying my eyes on the Corolla hatchback. I can’t wait to see what Toyota trd division has in store for the future of this new chassis.
The one thing I would change is the wheel color choice, perhaps gunmetal grey or shiny black is more my personal cup of tea.
    Well done lads, cheers!

I'm absolutely not a modern Toyota man (literally anything they have built since the 90s) - they leave me completely cold... But I really like the mods you guys did to this. Made it looks tons better, very purposeful and sharp, but still understated and stylish.
Shouldn't have expected anything else from you guys though tbh - what can I say, you just know how to build cars properly!

This has been a great series, and I'd argue more in line with most people are likely to do. I love involved builds, but they kind of live in fantasy car land. Sure, some of us have been fortunate enough to do them, but few of us do them regularly as it's really throwing money into a fire (you'll never get back the money you put in). This is a build/series anyone can approach and apply to their situation.
