Rover 4.6L V8.. super compact and lightweight. With a cam you are looking in the ~300hp/325lbft range NA... and they love having an M90 bolted to the top/side if you want 350's to about 450hp

Appreciate the video. Was a nice, pithy reference for me to use when recently working through this same job. It's pretty straightforward, but some reference from an experienced pro is certainly helpful. Some constructive criticism: You should have probably gone over checking the block's deck surface to ensure it is flat enough for the new MLS gaskets. I used a 0.001" feeler gage and a nice straightedge (from a 12" caliper who's moving jaw broke). Regardless of how I positioned the straightedge, or where I placed the feeler gage - the feeler was always pinched between straightedge and deck. I called that good.

How are you able to use an sti head gasket? How do you know which sti head gasket to use? How is an sti gasket able to fit yhe naturally aspirated engine?

curious, why do you say chip them because its a turbo diesel? arent you able to chip tune any car? or is there some specific benefit to tuning a turbo diesel specifically. considering between TDI and 3.6l touareg's for a tow vehicle, which is why i ask. thanks!
