This has no right being my favorite SA project.....
Same
It's my second favorite. The k swapped civic track car they did for PT's brother was my favorite.
This is my second favorite, just behind the E39 M5 wagon. Two fantastic builds.
2nd favorite. First is probably the Integra. But, an LS 430 will probably be my next daily! Just saying.
Liked it so much I bought an '05 :) lovin it!
That filter was so dirty it almost seemed like a prop.😂
Every lube tech's wet dream
Moving lots of air, love this build
Amazed you've put 80k km on this setup already!
Welcome to driving in the GTA haha
This series was literally a life saver!
I was looking for a cheap reliable car when this series came out…
Inspired by this build I bought a clean white LS430 and de-grandpa it.
After 6 months of reliable, worry free ownership I was rear ended sitting at a red light, guy was going 50mph on his phone and totaled the car. I’m convinced that big booty trunk let me walk away from that accident.
Got a second black LS430 only to get flooded by the hurricane in that same year.
Figured I’d get something else after the bad luck so I got a ISF, however there is something nice about driving a cheap old boat I miss
Isf is nice and sporty but not much rear legroom/space. But they have 2 different purposes too I suppose, great brand
Lucky you isf is so expensive arm
Life is such a bastar😂
My old man has an LS430 and it’s a smooth operator. Def a well made and iconic vehicle that’s a reliable and comfortable ride.
This car is why I subbed to the channel.

One of my favorite builds on your channel. Timeless classic design and the mods you guys did were very OEM+. Awesome to see it still running well.
The Flexus!
This is one of my favorite daily driver projects on all of CZcams! In fact, I've been looking for the right LS430 for a few months now.
I have an ISF 2009 and also a 2003 LS430 the isf is a lot more stiff and the interior is pretty small. I mostly daily the 430 and use the ISF as a weekend car!
I have PPE headers, full borla exhaust, rr racing intake + tune
Making 426whp rn , love it
YOURE LIVING MY DREAM
Want a is f so bad
Nice. Suspension details? I need inspiration. Debating replacing the struts with OEM. That, or lowering springs or coil overs. Need them to last.
I currently daily an ISF with the elate development supercharger. You would love it!
Only thing is you lose interior space and rear seats don’t fold.
LOVE this car! Glad to see she's still around. I personally dig the big body gangster Flexus.
Needs some Doilies on the head rests and maybe some window curtains.... VIP
Don’t forget the starlights on the headliner too 😂
I love this build. As a long term LS430 owner myself, when this build first was introduced I was beyond excited. Love seeing the update!
YES YES YES to the ISF build. I really miss my ‘08. What a great car.
Thank you Dave! You instantly relieved years of guilt from K&N filter cleaning negligence on my part in a 2 minute segment. I will sleep better tonight! 😄
Ah yeah the Flexus! This was one of my favorite builds! Nice you showing it some love DP and PT
The flexus is such a legendary build for you guys. I love every video that’s filmed of this car! Quite literally my favorite car in the fleet!!
Still one of the nicest rides on the roads, inside and out super clean till this day! I loved my ls430
Probably one of my favorite builds y'all have done
ISF for sure. I saw one recently with a nice exhaust and it sounded AMAZING
The Lexus is looking great Dave. Nice talking to you at Fortinos.
This is undoubtedly, one of your best build. 🎉
This is such a painfully cool car. Thank you for keeping us updated on it!
One of my favorite builds! It’s so nice!!!!
One my favorite builds. The LS has a Regal look to it. Love the Rims.
Flexus for life!
This and the M5 wagon are my favorite builds you guys ever did.
what an awesome car. we have a 2003 with 200k miles and its just such an amazing and wonderful car. great job on all of the upgrades yall did to the flexus... love it!
Favorite build! Wheels are 🔥!
This was a great series!
You made it absolutely perfect
So happy to see this Bad boy again!!
Took me back to 2021. Great update
love the Flexus, but the ISF is one of my dream cars. y’all really know how to make some clean cars, so it’d be so awesome to see ur take on that beast of a car 👌
Best auto channel on CZcams
You guys have built a lot of cool cars, but this has to be one of the best if not the best.
Love this build and cannot believe the time and miles have gone so quickly
IS-F is the perfect next step mate.
Great idea
One of my favorite SA builds! Love those wheels!
SC a GS400! Cuz that’ll inspire me to do mine!
I think the part about the Flexus that's so appealing is the idea of an affordable car that can be made something truly special and stand out from the cars that seem to get all the attention on CZcams (GTR,RX7,etc.) granted they get attention for a reason but it's refreshing to see something mundane be made cool.
Love this build 👌👌 need to see a 0-100 short video though. Also, a big yes to the ISF build
I see people freak out about power washing engines all the time. As a former detailer I laugh because a clean engine is a healthy engine - the connectors are ALL waterproof. That doesn't mean you get up close and smash everything with pressure: use good cleaning products (acid based degreasers are key for engine bays) and keep pressure nozzle at a reasonable distance and you'll never have a problem. I would note the older the car the more careful you should be - it takes some common sense.
The wheels look great and I don't blame you for not stripping them. Car still looks baller all this time later!
100% on board for the ISF project!
My favorite big JDM cruiser, is an 03-04 Infinity M45. I love the subdued styling
The wheels are beautiful 😍
I love these cars, wanted one for years. They're quite rare to see here in the UK. This one looks like a lot of fun and sounds epic. Next year I may well pull the trigger and grab one before they get much older. Cheers :)
Between this build and the slammed ls400 that was in my neighborhood a few years back I have been fawning after an affordable, well kept example that I can have my way with!
favorite car of the channel
Very impressive to see the condition after sure a distance, great video, though can not imagine going that long between services lol.
We never saw any drivetrain shots, how the motormounts are holding up flex plate, transmission mounts etc with the extra HP always a great video
FLEXus episode!! ….wait, where’s the captains hat DP?
Always fun to watch, thanks guys.
I have ALWAYS wanted an ISF. They such a great package all around.
Thanks for the vids boys! I see the Bronco back there 👀. Bronco update? Mods??
Fluid film was a great move... as a northerner I know as well as you folks do that rust never sleeps! Hate the wheels, but I love the build.
Re uploaded but idk why, still a great vid
what a fantastic car. easy to wrench on, reliable, STURDY, comfy.
ISF owner myself. Love this channel and all the builds. Interested in an ISF build with the Elate Supercharger and tuning. Or a 2UR swap on the Flexus perhaps.
I really like what you did with that build, and I'd also love to have an IS-F. That's a tough call, but I vote for keeping the Flexus.
Love the IS F idea
Dave, if you guys do decide to sell the Flexus, I'm genuinely interested. Love the build and care that you've put into it. Agreed that the wheels really tie it all together!
Flexus for life bro!!!
Enjoyed!
Its a keeper for suree
Best build you guys have done. But I’m biased because I own one!
God, you make me want to try and do this build myself
O yeah I"'m looking forward for Lexus ISF content...It's my dream car so I'd love to watch the ISF build series
THE classic Flexus!
Most underrated car
I love the Flexus!
Man, that K&N filter has to be awarded engine saver of the day, holly smokes was it dirty
DP doing some RallyX with the Flexus!
I love my LS430, best car i've ever owned.
those custom homage wheels give me so much envy & it honestly deserves a montage of executive suited up, Dave & Pete cruise before the send off if you do
Can't shake the desire to get one of these as my next daily.
Bought a 2011 CT200H with a blown head gasket from your recommendation!
What're you guys using for the suspension? I don't recall from the series, but maybe i'll have to rewatch. Fitment looks great - want to do something similar with mine. Thanks and cheers to an awesome vehicle!
Love this car❤
Isf would love to see that build
i like it when people add superchargers to Toyotas and Hondas. any other budget supercharger builds in store? 😂
Love this SA build! It’s a great car and it’s looks really comfy for everyday use. I think an ISF would be a great replacement. Flexus 2.0!!
Got myself a GS460, incredible sleeper Q car.
All hail the mighty Flexus!
I’d love to the an ISF build! Elate just released a blower for the 2ur and it would be great to see a series on that
Those wheels have grown on me...they look great on the car.
I love the Flexus! An ISF build would be super cool to see too although letting go of the flexus would be a sad day
80 thousand? where the heck are you driving! i love this thing so much i have no idea why
As much as an ISF would be cool, I feel like it's also nice to have some kind of stability in your life, and if that's a car you can daily drive and not think about "How do I turn this thing into more content?" and also not worry about things going wrong, I feel like it's a win
I love that car.
Love this build. Makes me want to sell my LS460, get a 430 and straight copy this build.
I like the IS F idea.
Yes, please do an ISF build. Those cars look hot as well.
This car is right along what I ended up buying, a 1st gen Acura TSX, luxury Honda. He’s I’m a Honda boy, just can’t start from a great company that knows how to build longevity. But like the Lexus, it’s a big boy :)
I love the Flexus but an ISF build would be awesome
I think if you go down the replacement route a GSF with the new Elate supercharger kit would be the move.
The Flexus is such a Speed Academy icon though!
Building an isf would be badass 🔥
How do you like the head unit in the car? How do you control functions for AC and car functions?
My gs400 had to get a bunch of stuff done. Balljoints failed withing 20k of previous owners replacement at 80k. Door lock actuators failed within a month of buying the car, steering wheel motors failed aswell. Those motors I fixed for free by just sanding the contacts, actuators I had to buy new ones. Key snapped in half, twice, both front and Rear calipers were sticking and the rear started leaking through the bleed screw so I went ls460 bbk in front and am waiting to do rear as I found cheap calipers to replace temporarily. Powersteering pump, valve covers, engine mounts and the master cylinder combo unit all failed at or before 120k, starter at 130k, the starter was already replaced at 80k with the timing belt by previous owner in 2018, however the starter was replaced with carquest, timing belt was an OEM belt asin kit. Tie rods need to be done now because of a slight accident, body work getting done as we speak, and also my valve seals are leaking. I did my acis solenoid with the starter, its the VSV underneath the manifold that actuates the variable runner length flaps, noticed increase in throttle response with no cel. I kinda just got unlucky with it, but I've replaced them all with OEM for likely 1500 including some of those being pulled from a junkyard, like the sc430 bms. The valve seals aren't terrible either and fairly common across ALL cars this age so I'm waiting for timing job, and the starter only selling reman from lexus now. I need to replace the radiator soon as preventative maintenance and might do timing job as preventative maintenance based on age aswell but dread reshimming valves and pulling those seals. Did all the work myself so I'm very lucky to have spent maybe 1500, maybe 2k if you add in the bbk and calipers that I rebuilt to save, all on very long term jobs that should last me at least 5 years, maybe even 10 years and even got excuses to modify the car, probably 3k with all mods included, coilovers, swaybars, exhaust, regear, etc mostly sourced from facebook marketplace.
Yessss!!! ISF FTW!!!!!
