      @@cmattdabrat do you have to set the throttle position in the computer or tune to actual tpi sensor. I know some cars with key on and engine off you have to mash the gas all the way down and set computer throttle to 100 percent because sometimes it can be off above or under 100 and cause idle issue. Im no tunner you probably know more than me but I have picked up on tidbits here and there.

    Buying a fuel injector testing/cleaning rig is a must when running E85. You could very easily have a injector plugged or dirty with how often the fuel system and motor have been worked on and replaced. If u leave any car on e85 sitting it turns to gel so quickly like literally two weeks the fuel is already going stale with e85.

    Sounds good in the higher end.
    The idle Sounds good once warmed up.
    Data is the best even for a ill 1.4 turbo set up.
    I finally hit 13 psi and hit 35.5 mpgs. I also added the splash guards from a 2017 buick verano that they call areo package. It makes the air flow smoothly under the car. I found them at pick and pull for 15 $ & some hardware & epoxy some bolts in place as studs to hold them up on the outside. I don't have a welder so epoxy will have to work.
    Apol get a ride lol which makes him happy.
    Keep at it you are close. Guessing you will be around 375 to 400 hp at the crank but at the wheel 15 to 18 % less due to drivetrain. Ball Park figures. Hope all is good & be safe.

I even added a water cooler to mine so I could do more aluminum work without the torch getting hot price on them now is $869 and for what they do it's the best bottom dollar for a welder under a $1000. and I even noticed in your video last one that you're using a Miller dynasty and this welder will weld right side by side with it.

      Thanks for looking out. Josh and I have gone back and forth the past couple of years. He was inspired by my initial build. I even learned a few things from him as far as parts that come on the 1.6 boosted version overseas. He's running 8psi and she's been living a happy life. Really cool build.

      @802Garage Před 2 lety

      @@cmattdabrat IMO you should absolutely be running a double iridium plug or at least platinum. They are less susceptible to spark "blow out" generally and of course won't wear out nearly as fast. Platinum plugs don't have much of a performance advantage over "copper" AKA nickel plugs, but iridium definitely do and ruthenium are the newest tech by NGK. The old wisdom of "copper" plugs being the best performance plugs is, for lack of a better term, bullshit. The only thing to note about switching to fine tip plugs in general is they CAN have a similar effect to advancing timing by up to a couple degrees. This is actually beneficial because you are getting a better flame front without advancing timing, just means you might want to start slightly more conservative on the timing. Disclaimer most of this knowledge is from tons of research, arguments with lots of people on the internet, and listening to people who have tuned infinitely more cars than me, as well as documentation and interviews with racing experts and the spark plug companies themselves. Don't take my word as law, but I try not to spew nonsense. As for plugs I could recommend, I'm doing some research and I'll get back to you with some part numbers.

    • @802Garage
      @802Garage Před 2 lety +1

      The latest and greatest Ruthenium plug with square projected tip intended for turbo engines is 92400 FR7BHX-S
      For a basic Iridium plug which still has a nickel strap, but is a "high performance" plug, better than copper go 2667 BKR7EIX
      For Laser Iridium which is what NGK sells to NISMO for their racing plugs for example, I believe you can use 5794 IFR7F-8DS
      If there was a basic Platinum, the part for 7 heat range would be BKR7EGP, but it doesn't exist, you could use 7092 BKR6EGP
      You could get Laser Platinum, Double Platinum, but not worth it over Iridium or Ruthenium by cost, that would be 4853 PFR7B
      Any of these would be superior to Copper IMO. RockAuto has the Ruthenium plugs for $8.64 each. So pricey, but not horrible.
      Of course, feel completely free to ignore me entirely and pick whatever you want. I won't be offended. I just enjoy researching!
