Damn dude you've done awesome work. Really impressive street tuning too. Can't wait for more!
Thank you! I really appreciate it.
damn that thing sounded so good at 28psi! first time seeing this series in a while im stoked
It's crazy to think you got that thing pushing 8,000rpms. On 28 psi. Absolutely sick bro. Glad you're back
Niiice! My 1.8L Sonic is on stands right now! I'm in the process of pulling the engine to build it for a turbo. Gonna do forged rods, JE forged pistons, ect. Following your lead!
You're back!!!
Still around and working towards the goal of setting some records. Perhaps not as fast moving as I would like at times, but we're getting there.
Seriously, make all the videos into a playlist. I think you'd get more views. It's quality work. Let's get it appreciated
Good to have you back!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
Love to see it! Been following this build forever (I have a Gen2 Cruze I’ve been modding, but nowhere near this level lol). Nice to see other people still rocking with the Cruze platform, and what you’ve done to yours is absolutely nutty. Looking forward to the dyno numbers, brotha
Good too see ya doin good again man. miss the content and all that 💪💪
Good to see you Back and the project still going strong! 💪 one day I will begin the same process on my Astra! Keep the videos coming 🙌
Good to have ya back
Brother where you been? Anyways that’s not important the important thing is your back and I’m glad to see it
Pretty nice setup
Good to see u back man, hope all is well with u!
Glad to see another video on the Cruze, man. Been a long time. Keep it up! Looking forward to next video
Slow and steady wins it, has been a long way since you've turned your Cruze into a road ripper!
Thanks! I really appreciate that.
It's great to see you getting it sorted out! 👍
Thank you! Great to hear from you. Hope you're doing well.
Can’t wait to see what it’s putting down loved the energy this vid 🤘
Thank you! Me too!
Love the vids keep it up 👍

@@cmattdabrat How are you dealing with the VVTI ?
Hi brotha, always glad to see you everytime. ✌️😎🤘
Thanks bro! I appreciate. Always great to hear from you.
Thank u for showing all the tuning and build content. It is really good. I know it cost alot of money but I appreciate you putting out the information
Any time! I'm glad ya'll enjoy watching the content.
Hooked on your channel!! Awesome content!!! Specially FT
That's awesome! I really appreciate it.
I was just thinking of you the other day. Glad to see you back and the car doing better
I really appreciate that!
I hope you're doing well and I'm sure the new business going to smash 🎉🎉 happy to see you ❤❤❤
Things have definitely gotten better! Ready to get some work done on this project. I appreciate it.
LETS GOOOOO good to see you back
Thanks! Definitely miss creating more often, but working on that.
@@cmattdabrat I wish i was knowledgable on fueltech and the cruise stuff to help you out :( i love seeing something different then normal
great to see you back! love small channels with awesome builds like this…started watching as you started modding this thing…as a ford focus guy i hate your car, but since you did awesome things, i love it. keep it up! sleepers ftw!!
Thanks bro! I really appreciate the support and for you sticking around all these years. Hahaha, I've actually thought about doing a ZX3. I'm just a fan with anything with some potential that isn't your run of the mile Honda stuff. Just to see something different.
YOU'RE BACK! 🎉 awesome!
Thanks!
@@cmattdabrat gotta say: the Cruze sounds really healthy, especially high up under boost and load. Keep up the good work man! Always nice to see you making progress! 🤟🏼
SOUNDS WICKED !.
Been waiting for this brother. Love to see it. I'm still down to come give you a hand if you want. My rsx is running and driving now still needs a little wot tuning but I need to get it registered and insured first oh and I've developed an exhaust leak in the header somewhere... Little by little. Hit me up.
I really appreciate it! I hear that. When you have a full time gig, time is definitely limited. I'm always down for a helping hand.
Eco trans may give longer gears after 2nd gear. But the final drive would be 3.83 I believe.
Where the 1.8 trans you have is a closer ratio for road and track setup.
That's true! I've been keeping an eye out at the junkyard and hopefully can grab another to have as a spare to try out.
I love the sound 😩 I just want to see a full pull so bad good work on the car 🫡🫡
More to come and full pulls. You and me both. Hard to do it safely on the street, but I have some big plans in the works to finally see some numbers.
Yes sir!
Thanks!
Need all wheel drive borrow the front and rear differential from a equinox!
Definitely a consideration. Just money holding that idea back.
I cannot wait to see ya hit the dyno haha then the track agian.
Things needs a stronger transmission like mid plate an ppg or something use a honda transmission if possible.
Ooooooft we back
Yes! :)
Only 10° of timing too. Thing is going to be nuts
Definitely have kept the timing safe and excited for the day I can get it on a dyno and start adding timing to see what it likes.
Have you considered a Dragy to do some 60-130 or top-end pulls? That would tell you a lot about power without having to wait on a dyno and stuff. And it'll let you turn anywhere into a 1/4mi strip. Like "mexico". Keep up the good work man!
I have! Need to replace the syncros on 4th gear so I can get my 1:1 ratio back. A draggy is definitely something I'll get in the near future to help dial in my driving. The track is where it's at. Like the difference between watching a movie at home vs going to see something on the big screen.
Still want to get the vehicle on a dyno so we can really dial in timing and the horsepower / torque curve. More to come soon.
@@cmattdabrat Not sure how to get into contact with you, but I actually have the older model Dragy I would gladly donate to your cause. It gives me an excuse to upgrade to the new DR70 model too. :)
Kind of skipping through vids but have you touched the gear box at all? If anything goes on these it's notorious for killing gear boxes
(Made this comment before watching whole video I guessed I answered my own question😅)
Any thoughts on building a chevy cobalt ss
I could see myself doing a Cobalt. I still feel like there's things I need and want to get done to this car first. Almost there.
do you have any guesses power wise where you’ll land? does anyone have a build that you can compare it to? seems like a lot of stuff is in uncharted waters!
The 1.6 VXR is the same engine and cylinder head. Do a search for VXR 1.6 stage 4 or was it 5? Anyhow, they're pushing 485hp (if I recall correctly calculated flywheel hp). I would be happy with anything north of 400 whp. Goal is to get the car in the low 11's high 10's.
I think it's time to put some real tires on it. I know you want to keep it looking stock but the more power you build you know you're going to get wheel slippage
Where did you get your head studs from?
They're ARP head studs from a SRT-4 Dodge Neon. I had to open up the 9mm threads to 10mm and open the cylinder head bolt holes a little so the studs would pass through and give the oil a way to get to the cylinder head. One of the stud holes passes the oil from the block to the cylinder head.
I was wondering what happened to ya
First!!!!!
Awesome!
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Miss your videos bro! Dope setup wish I still had mine🥹
I appreciate it!
