TS was becoming more nearsighted and had begun treatment for Myopia at another office. She had been there for 7-8 months.
We identified that she has Strabismus (eye turning out). She tilts her head when reading, and when she writes, the letters are all jumbled up. She also has issues with spelling.
Prior to therapy she was unable to write very well. but now her writing has improved. Vision Therapy has enabled her to concentrate. She is now able to read and write with greater confidence. Her self esteem has improved and she is now on-par with classmates. She can do math for longer, handwriting has improved, drawing and painting for longer. She is calmer too. She now reads faster, and with better comprehension. her handwriting is neater and she is able to do near work for long periods of time and with
fewer headaches
