SP, 12, had Esotropia. Her eyes are now straight (Vision Therapy) and she sees 20/20 (Ortho-k)

P, 12, had a number of vision problems we were able to help her solve. Her mother said: "when she reads too long or close to her ipad, her right eye crosses in towards nose. She loves to read”. the priorities were to first address that her eye was crossing in (Esotropia, a specific type of strabismus), and then address that her eyeglass prescription was getting worse (Myopia Management) each year. She had learned to suppress the picture reaching her right eye to avoid . Eyeglasses were prescribed elsewhere approximately 6 months ago.
Vision Therapy and Syntonic Phototherapy enabled her to address the eye turn (esotropia). Orthokeratology enabled her to see 20/20 in each eye. She had been rapidly becoming more nearsighted and she also had astigmatism.
Now, she is able to use both eyes together as a team, her eyes are straight, and she is able to see down to a 20/20 in each eye even after 12 hours after removing her lenses.
It was a long road and somewhat complex to get help her arrive to this point. We are ecstatic with her outcome. We combined various “tools” we offer to help her address her problems and solve them both short and long term.
