yes i never expiramce that until i got diagnosed with occipital neurlogy

Yes I did too , like a extreme anxiety and panic that comes on fast then the pain follows
I believe all of those nerves can effect behavior
I’ve been diagnosed with occipital neuralgia. I have pain in rear left of head. Gets tingling feeling and just feels like someone is squeezing my nerve. I have a very difficult time concentrating in fact it seems to be worse while concentrating. I’ve tried meds and have a nerve block. Felt good for a few days until the numbing agent diminished. I do have times of remission and feel great but when I’m having symptoms my quality of life sucks. I also try to mask the symptoms and carry on but it’s not easy. I have a very hard time working but I push through. They want to try a nerve stimulation device but it’s expensive and seems temporary at best. Not sure what to do.

I was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia the headache is so sharp and burning. I saw a naturopathic doctor and did ozone therapy but it made it worse not sure what to do
So... What exactly did you have done to help??? I have had 2 brain surgeries now (bilateral trigeminal neuralgia) and also dealing with occipital neuralgia.

I feel like sharp intense pain at left side of head for few secs then its gone and it happens mostly not all the time
I recently felt that pain on right side and that was for an hour
I feel like somebody shot me and I feel like my vein cracked up
Is that also same pain??
I also was diagnosed with occipital Neuralgia the headache is unbelievable very sharp and burning I went to a Naturopathic doctor and did ozone injection but it made it worse and burn more not sure what to do.

Help me I can’t get my doctor to listen to me at all that I’m having occipital neuralgia pain in the side of neck on my left side. I have DDD and Cervical Spondylosis. The DDD was found by doing an MRI. I’ve also had a MRI done all around the base of my skull and I’ve been given a diagnosis of migraines. This shooting pain in the side of my neck has to do with that my muscles are inflamed and so my occipital nerves are being pinched and I’ve had eye pain and scalp pain and left side face pain for over a week now. But of course they have helped cover it up by giving me opioids which I can’t function normally on.. They want to term my problem as a Migraine headache disorder. That has nothing to do with my occipital nerves anywhere on my skull or in my neck!!!! But I have all the pain that comes along with having occipital neuralgia. This seems to be what they do to people who get MediCAL in this state..Actually the opioid is causing me all over body pain. And the Motrin I can only handle because I’m taking a medication that will stop me from having stomach pain and nausea!

Hello I’m having similar issues your having except I had to stop taking the opioids that’s why your having pain. How are you doing at this time. Did anyone help you
My name is yara I had suffer this horrible occipital neuralgia seeing the day I was born maybe from baby shaking syndrome it's a non stop pain try to manage the light the sounds but it's impossible..

please i went to many doctors but they say its just spasm but i couldnt be healed with physiotherapy or medicine
