If this was the first dead bug I had seen in a DK Oldies order, then maybe. Truth is, I also had a dead bug in a recent order I made with them. I've also seen other people reporting dead bugs in their orders. Price gouging and shoddy refurbishments are one thing. A bug infested warehouse is a whole other concern.

These guys sold a Super Mario World with a dead save battery to some poor dude and they made a video where they “heroically” sent him another one while requiring he send the original back, and then they had the audacity to tell me that save batteries are thoroughly checked and that it “probably died on the way to the customer”. You are not gonna tell me a 23 year old save battery died in the few days it took to go from your facility to the customer.
Some of those batteries only work long enough to test because they come mostly dead from China.. (all of them come from China) so they could have swapped it, checked it, and then it sat around for a few months and is now dead. This is a common problem with Gameboy games right now.

It would still fit the category of cosmetically flawed. A scratch it technically part of the outer casing being gone. It's just a very very very small piece of your systems body gone. Cosmetic issues means the system will still function. Which is really the most important thing. But the prices he was discussing are high.
Hi friends, I used to work for them. I'm actually in a few of their tiktoks. What little I did in the repairs department allowed me to really see what was going on. From employees hiding the "good" consoles under desks until their time was up so they could just kinda slip out with them to co-workers telling me to allow a wii through with LITERAL MAPLE SYRUP in the disk drive. Rest assured, when I was working back there I made sure every console I said was "ok" was truly "ok" I fixed the ones I could and made sure the ones that couldn't never saw the light of day. I quit when my co-worker became my boss and he immediately moved me away from the other workers because I was "on his shit list" for doing his job better than him.

Very grateful that you shouted out the site we buy the GameBoys from, because that was the real struggle for me the past few days since I've gotten serious about it. I was almost willing to spend close to what you spent on these GameBoys. Definitely tested my will to actually go through with it all. Plus, it's awesome to watch an entertaining guy who's talent for making them is unreached. Something I could only ever aspire to. I haven't sanded anything since TD in high school lol I got the basic C in that and called it a day, if only we did this in school I'd have paid full attention
I actually bought a lot for parts from them back then a couple of years ago on their ebay store. When they were not that popular. The prices were really affordable and fair. Times have changed.
The owner mistook a rare IQue GBA as a fake GBA and destroyed it on camera. Edit: This is the most replies I've ever gotten on a CZcams comment. Also, there's a blog post on the DK Oldies site about how they could tell that the game boys were fake.
If that doesn't show how incompetent DKOldies is then I don't know what does. It's like destroying a rare vase just because someone thought the paintjob looked sloppy. Research the damn thing first before deciding whether it gets the hammer or not.

Man, glad to see you finally own one of the Ice Blue pockets! That's the gameboy I had as a kid. Ok, story time: I have a brittle bone condition, and as a kid I had an original DMG gameboy. Which was wonderful for me to play in the hospital. The problem was, my hands were so tiny, and when I had an IV in with all the IV tape, I couldn't hold the gameboy properly. So when the pocket came out, my mom gifted it to me, and it was my best friend while laid up after an operation while in a body cast! (Or any cast for that matter). That ice blue gameboy was so gorgeous! I still regret getting rid of it in my teens... I now no longer get rid of my systems, especially if it's a special edition! I hope to get another ice blue some day.

DKoldies say they still "refurbish" the cosmetically flawed items. At least the website still says it's refurbished when I clicked on cosmetically flawed. It's also illegal in the United States for DKoldies to call that sticker a void warranty sticker. They call it something else now. Can't remember what it is. I think it's honestly called a quality control sticker now 😂
I'd guess the DMG is more expensive because it's the "original", and therefore better. Sites like DKOldies are targeting people who just want that nostalgia hit from their childhood, so they can charge through the nose for nostalgia.

I bought an original DMG Gameboy for $3 from a thrift store and spent $50 refurbishing with new buttons and screen cover. Parts are cheap, but eBay shipping is pricey, I thought I over spend, but DK Oldies makes me feel better 😂
I will say that almost two years ago I did buy a gameboy color on there and it was in extremely good condition, but about 2 months ago I bought a gameboy advanced and it was not nearly as good as the color. I think part of the problem is how big they’ve gotten.
Living in Japan I’ve mainly only bought from Amazon jp(most expensive, but I always pick sellers who with pictures of the gameboys), Yahoo auction or mercari, which isn’t bad, and then book off, which is immensely cheap, though the quality of games seems to be higher than handhelds, but maybe I’ve just been unlucky. It’s been baffling to me how insane the retro gaming market has gotten in the US in recent years, if you can I think it would be cheaper(and you’ll be getting better condition) to order from Japan, even with the shipping cost if you buy in bulk.
I think you're right about the prices of these things in Japan. I've been looking for a decent GBA SP, and I've found that I could probably get one imported from Japan and pay for the shipping, and _still_ pay less than what it would cost for me to get one from a US seller. And it would probably be in better condition. And don't even get me started on the cost of retro games, such as SNES/Super Famicom. The Japanese cartridges are incredibly cheap compared to the absurd prices of the American ones. Even a retro game store that I've been to here has a few Japanese N64 games on the shelf, and they are priced noticably lower!
Thats why Elliott always uses Sendaco. It is absolutely cheaper if you buy in bulk from Japan. And Japanese people are known for being clean and taking care of their belongings. I have several consoles and accessories I have bought secondhand from Japan. Absolutely worth it AND I can get rare JP only release consoles. Or like my DS Lite which is an EU/Asia exclusive.
I've used sendico in the past for aibos for that reason. Yea you get a Japanese unit you can't send to Sony for repairs if you grab the newest model used but there's those knowledgeable in repairs here and there. Didn't want to get into another expensive hobby but if I do decide to grab some retro consoles I'm hunting down auctions on sendico to at least save a little bit.
While considerably lower than what the rest of the world charges, recently the "retro game hype" has seemed to affect japan, for example I bought a complete in box minty new2dsll for ¥8000 in 2017, now one scratched, without box went for ¥25000. That's prices in the Akiba area tho, if you look online they'll be cheaper, but still kinda worse than before

Dkoldies isn't a bad company, people have always charged higher for games that aren't for sale anymore and the prices aren't going down anytime soon. Games like earthbound have always been expenensive but I ordered three games from them and they were in pristine condition and for my copy of Sonic Spinball they included a Sega ad with a Jurassic poster in the back and a Aladdin ad too. Stop hating on dkoldies and touch grass man :).
Everything retro related has skyrocketed in price, and they can get away with it too just because people still pay the ridiculous prices so they always get rewarded for their immense greed.

The nostalgia from holding a game boy must be awesome, I’ve personally only ever owned a gameboy flip, and to be honest I’d love to have one to hold again. But in my honest opinion, I’d much rather go for a retro handheld device that emulates GB games on it. Will run smoother, normally has shortcuts like fast forwarding, save states, etc, easier to find support for as these devices are being made today, not a device discontinued years and years ago. I love my miyoo mini it looks just like a gameboy with extra buttons and I’ve got all of my Pokémon games on there available to play at any moment, loaded all my cartridges onto an SSD so they’re all at my fingertips instead of a big case full of cartridges. Love the nostalgia but I feel you can have the nostalgic feel with QOL features and I’m enjoying my time on it. Still wish I had something with hinges though to replicate my gameboy flip
I got lucky with my ice blue then. I think I only paid like 30-40 for it. Only downside is it has screen cancer around the edges (covered by the lens), and I think the previous owner tried gluing the original sticker down at some point. Label wasnt salvageable and took way too long to get the glue clump off and the scrub the cigarette smell out of the inside.

I still have my extreme green pocket from when I was a kid. Man I loved that thing. I got a color later on as a birthday present and still rocked the pocket because the screen felt so much bigger and clearer. Still have the color as well. And of course my sp from when it first came out. Sitting right next to my neo geo pocket color. Man it was a good time to be a gamer
I still have my ice blue Gameboy pocket from back in the day. It came as a bundle exclusive with Zelda link's awakening from target. Even mine got scratched easy it was the paint.
I used to work at DK on their cleaning team. We all hated it, but company policy doesn't let us open anything to clean. I got a GBC from them, and it's been great tho
I got a gbc from them. I live in canada so it was $217 CDN. So its kind of insane, but i didnt know any better because i thought “pay a premium, get a premium gbc”. How wrong i was. Gbc came super dirty, games didnt work, and they replaced the lens but there was shit in between.

A very bizarre policy in my opinion, if they are charging so much for a "refurbished" system, most would expect it to be clean inside and out, and if anything was replaced or restored it would be done responsibly without any cut corners. But from what I've seen none of that is happening... or if so its rare. Are they that scared of you all breaking something by accident? Or just trying to cut corners in greed?
That and they are ruining the market for all of us that grew up in the era of these systems . If I wanted to buy my son a gbasp or a 3dsxl or both it's gonna run me almost 1000 dollars I can buy him two ps5s or a ps5 and a decent tv for the price of those two handhelds and a couple games or extras.. like if I sold a gbasp i wouldn't be able to get more than 40-60 bucks for it and a 3dsxl o wouldn't be able to get more than maybe 100 bucks it's getting ridiculous

I also live in the UK. How were the Shipping times for the consoles. Not that I would ever buy anything for DK Oldies, but I buy a lot of stuff from eBay and some stuff you just cannot get over here or it works out a lot more expensive to buy them over here, even with the US Shipping charges. I was also thinking about things like import duties and Customs etc. Thanks.
Good video, the DMG was pretty good, and I'd probably use that Pocket a fair bit considering the wear. DKOldies seem to be getting so much bad press that I'm sure they'll end up having to either shut down or massively reduce their prices, $100 for a DMG is absolutely ludicrous. I was introduced to Dkoldies by watching Elliott's shorts on youtube. He would make videos about random unknown facts about Nintendo hardware and so did Dkoldies, so youtube started recommending them to me. Even back then I could kinda pick up that they were a shady company

I had that Ice Blue Game Boy pocket when I was kid. I had the DMG as well and later the Color, but the Pocket was the best Game Boy form factor in my opinion. Lots of good memories with that system.

I saw a DMG Gameboy in a shop window the other day for 150 euro. Condition was middling. I hadn't a clue what they were going for these days if you can still get them for a tenner that's pretty mad.
Well they take advantage of people who haven’t been in the hobby long and know they can charge a premium for nostalgia. That and their marketing works really well. Their target consumer is the adult who grew up in the 90s and wants to grab some of that childhood nostalgia even if it costs them $50 more than eBay because they feel like they can trust the company because they show their faces as a way to “connect.”
This is why I got out of collecting. I used to find these items in this condition. The fun was paying a low price to make something old look new again and keep it working for the future generation. They took away the joy of low prices and finding burried treasures. Now, they send you the stuff you use to find with such joy. All you have to do is just pay a premium price? All because they found it? Oh well... vinyl is still pretty cheap at least... FOR NOW! 👀
I purchased my first PSp from a second hand seller on Ebay, and it was in need of a bit of love, including a new battery, but after switching the language over to English from Japanese, giving it a deep clean and replacing the battery, it was good to go, and I got it for a fraction of what it might have costed elsewhere. Self-service really helps!

I was at the mall the other day and went into one of those retro gaming stores. They had a bunch of NES's, gameboys of all varieties and a few gamecubes all for a fairly decent price. Still way marked up but nowhere near the level of dkoldies. Like I think their refurbished gameboy colors were going for $90-$130.
i would imagine they had to start putting their own warranty stickers on to deter customers from opening them up and posting about how dirty they are online
To be fair, the way they painted the GameBoy Pockets, that paint came off just by touching the thing. I have a golden Nintendo Power anniversary GameBoy Pocket, a good third of the gold paint has come off just from a few years of holding it. I imagine the Ice Blue pocket was painted the exact same way, just blue instead of gold.
If you washed your hands before using it, the paint didn’t come off. Source: my mint ice blue gbp. Always washed my hands. The oils from your hands wear the paint super quick. Same goes for anything painted or plastic. First it turns glossy, and then it comes off.

I bought an immaculate second hand "Ice Blue" pocket about 20 years ago. I had no idea that the colour was a limited edition. It was rattling about in my jacket pocket with a couple of cartridges and a small plastic containing 4x spare AAA's for about 5 or 6 years. You think yours is hideously scarred, you should see mine ! Not only has the paint wore off all the corners and edges, but a fair amount of the plastic has worn down too ! The reason I stumbled across this video was because a few days back I unearthed this tatty GB pocket in a box of my old stuff, and (after testing that everything still worked) I decided to show it a little love. I've got parts coming to backlight and "Bivert" it, upgrade the speaker, add one of Giltesa's USB C Li-po charging kits + a 1100mah li-po, and a translucent blue shell to rehome it all in (plus some replacement coin cells for my cartridges, because all of old one I tried in my GB pocket have lost my saved games). If all goes to plan it should be better than new.
I spent $80 each on a Gameboy Advance and a Gameboy Color at a local flea market, and the only thing i had to do to them was clean up a little sticker residue on the advance, and both are in gorgeous condition. $80 for something so dirty is a horrible deal
It's crazy how some people abuse their consoles too. I see some used so bad. I got consoles from over 30 years ago that still look out of the box. Time is money and my money didn't go into these things to abuse them.
Oh man I have an ice blue GBP that has a really cool backstory. This gave me some serious nostalgia. A buddy who served in Afghanistan took his GBP with him overseas. While there he had an IED go off near him, close enough that he threw him backwards onto the ground. His GBP was in his pocket, and while it got pretty beat up, it still works to this day! He gave me that gameboy a few years ago and I've always been too nervous to restore it myself. I don't want to ruin it! Videos like yours inspire me to try one day...
People are insane to buy from them now knowing what they should know at this point. That’s really all I’ll say. They’re not doing what they say they’re doing and charging a premium on top of it. At least in the US, you would do better to go to a pawn shop, take it home, clean it up, and at a 1/4 of the cost. All of my best finds have been at flea markets and pawn shops. And if you have the gift of negotiation - you’re golden.
I recently learned that it's not a quality control sticker it's a """"warranty""" sticker which is why they put in on a screw, since they don't want you to open the console and repair it
It's crazy how DMG Game Boys have leaped in the last 10 years. I sold one to a friend in 2012 for $15 in flawless shape with a screen replacement and that wasn't even much of a loss for me to do that for him
i once ordered a gba sp from dk oldies, listed as being a refurbished ags-101 model in good condition, and priced as such-when i got it, it turned out to be an ags-001, in HORRIBLE condition. i paid premium price for a gba sp that i could have gotten at a garage sale for $5... never shopped there again lmao

As i'm a collector myself i got some of those videos from DKOldies on my tiktok account where they packed some orders for the customers. And i always thought: Who the hell is going to buy this overpriced stuff? I mean yeah...collecting retro consoles and games is getting more and more expensive. But those prices are (in relation to the condition) way too high. And what's even worse: All those comments on their tiktok videos were like "Wow that is awesome...i'm gonna order on DK now as well!".

Very grateful that you shouted out the site we buy the GameBoys from, because that was the real struggle for me the past few days since I've gotten serious about it. I was almost willing to spend close to what you spent on these GameBoys. Definitely tested my will to actually go through with it all. Plus, it's awesome to watch an entertaining guy who's talent for making them is unreached. Something I could only ever aspire to. I haven't sanded anything since TD in high school lol I got the basic C in that and called it a day, if only we did this in school I'd have paid full attention

Ok, story time: I have a brittle bone condition, and as a kid I had an original DMG gameboy. Which was wonderful for me to play in the hospital. The problem was, my hands were so tiny, and when I had an IV in with all the IV tape, I couldn't hold the gameboy properly. So when the pocket came out, my mom gifted it to me, and it was my best friend while laid up after an operation while in a body cast! (Or any cast for that matter).
That ice blue gameboy was so gorgeous! I still regret getting rid of it in my teens... I now no longer get rid of my systems, especially if it's a special edition! I hope to get another ice blue some day.

DKoldies say they still "refurbish" the cosmetically flawed items. At least the website still says it's refurbished when I clicked on cosmetically flawed. It's also illegal in the United States for DKoldies to call that sticker a void warranty sticker. They call it something else now. Can't remember what it is. I think it's honestly called a quality control sticker now 😂

I bought an original DMG Gameboy for $3 from a thrift store and spent $50 refurbishing with new buttons and screen cover. Parts are cheap, but eBay shipping is pricey, I thought I over spend, but DK Oldies makes me feel better 😂
I will say that almost two years ago I did buy a gameboy color on there and it was in extremely good condition, but about 2 months ago I bought a gameboy advanced and it was not nearly as good as the color. I think part of the problem is how big they’ve gotten.

Living in Japan I’ve mainly only bought from Amazon jp(most expensive, but I always pick sellers who with pictures of the gameboys), Yahoo auction or mercari, which isn’t bad, and then book off, which is immensely cheap, though the quality of games seems to be higher than handhelds, but maybe I’ve just been unlucky. It’s been baffling to me how insane the retro gaming market has gotten in the US in recent years, if you can I think it would be cheaper(and you’ll be getting better condition) to order from Japan, even with the shipping cost if you buy in bulk.

I think you're right about the prices of these things in Japan. I've been looking for a decent GBA SP, and I've found that I could probably get one imported from Japan and pay for the shipping, and _still_ pay less than what it would cost for me to get one from a US seller. And it would probably be in better condition.
And don't even get me started on the cost of retro games, such as SNES/Super Famicom. The Japanese cartridges are incredibly cheap compared to the absurd prices of the American ones. Even a retro game store that I've been to here has a few Japanese N64 games on the shelf, and they are priced noticably lower!
Thats why Elliott always uses Sendaco. It is absolutely cheaper if you buy in bulk from Japan. And Japanese people are known for being clean and taking care of their belongings. I have several consoles and accessories I have bought secondhand from Japan. Absolutely worth it AND I can get rare JP only release consoles. Or like my DS Lite which is an EU/Asia exclusive.
I've used sendico in the past for aibos for that reason. Yea you get a Japanese unit you can't send to Sony for repairs if you grab the newest model used but there's those knowledgeable in repairs here and there. Didn't want to get into another expensive hobby but if I do decide to grab some retro consoles I'm hunting down auctions on sendico to at least save a little bit.
While considerably lower than what the rest of the world charges, recently the "retro game hype" has seemed to affect japan, for example I bought a complete in box minty new2dsll for ¥8000 in 2017, now one scratched, without box went for ¥25000. That's prices in the Akiba area tho, if you look online they'll be cheaper, but still kinda worse than before

Dkoldies isn't a bad company, people have always charged higher for games that aren't for sale anymore and the prices aren't going down anytime soon. Games like earthbound have always been expenensive but I ordered three games from them and they were in pristine condition and for my copy of Sonic Spinball they included a Sega ad with a Jurassic poster in the back and a Aladdin ad too. Stop hating on dkoldies and touch grass man :).
Everything retro related has skyrocketed in price, and they can get away with it too just because people still pay the ridiculous prices so they always get rewarded for their immense greed.

The nostalgia from holding a game boy must be awesome, I’ve personally only ever owned a gameboy flip, and to be honest I’d love to have one to hold again. But in my honest opinion, I’d much rather go for a retro handheld device that emulates GB games on it. Will run smoother, normally has shortcuts like fast forwarding, save states, etc, easier to find support for as these devices are being made today, not a device discontinued years and years ago. I love my miyoo mini it looks just like a gameboy with extra buttons and I’ve got all of my Pokémon games on there available to play at any moment, loaded all my cartridges onto an SSD so they’re all at my fingertips instead of a big case full of cartridges. Love the nostalgia but I feel you can have the nostalgic feel with QOL features and I’m enjoying my time on it. Still wish I had something with hinges though to replicate my gameboy flip
I got lucky with my ice blue then. I think I only paid like 30-40 for it. Only downside is it has screen cancer around the edges (covered by the lens), and I think the previous owner tried gluing the original sticker down at some point. Label wasnt salvageable and took way too long to get the glue clump off and the scrub the cigarette smell out of the inside.
Thank you for buying handheld systems. I’ve seen people talking about this particular store and they’re always talking about the Xbox or the PlayStation or another home consoles but no one is talking about what quality that they ship their handheld consoles.

I used to work at DK on their cleaning team. We all hated it, but company policy doesn't let us open anything to clean. I got a GBC from them, and it's been great tho

I got a gbc from them. I live in canada so it was $217 CDN. So its kind of insane, but i didnt know any better because i thought “pay a premium, get a premium gbc”. How wrong i was. Gbc came super dirty, games didnt work, and they replaced the lens but there was shit in between.

A very bizarre policy in my opinion, if they are charging so much for a "refurbished" system, most would expect it to be clean inside and out, and if anything was replaced or restored it would be done responsibly without any cut corners. Not that I would ever buy anything for DK Oldies, but I buy a lot of stuff from eBay and some stuff you just cannot get over here or it works out a lot more expensive to buy them over here, even with the US Shipping charges. Good video, the DMG was pretty good, and I'd probably use that Pocket a fair bit considering the wear. DKOldies seem to be getting so much bad press that I'm sure they'll end up having to either shut down or massively reduce their prices, $100 for a DMG is absolutely ludicrous. I had that Ice Blue Game Boy pocket when I was kid. I had the DMG as well and later the Color, but the Pocket was the best Game Boy form factor in my opinion. Lots of good memories with that system.

Well they take advantage of people who haven’t been in the hobby long and know they can charge a premium for nostalgia. That and their marketing works really well. Their target consumer is the adult who grew up in the 90s and wants to grab some of that childhood nostalgia even if it costs them $50 more than eBay because they feel like they can trust the company because they show their faces as a way to “connect.”

I purchased my first PSp from a second hand seller on Ebay, and it was in need of a bit of love, including a new battery, but after switching the language over to English from Japanese, giving it a deep clean and replacing the battery, it was good to go, and I got it for a fraction of what it might have costed elsewhere. Self-service really helps!

I was at the mall the other day and went into one of those retro gaming stores. They had a bunch of NES's, gameboys of all varieties and a few gamecubes all for a fairly decent price. Still way marked up but nowhere near the level of dkoldies. Like I think their refurbished gameboy colors were going for $90-$130.
Over the recent weeks I have been seeing other people doing videos on DKoldies. Every single order for those youtubers went wrong.

To be fair, the way they painted the GameBoy Pockets, that paint came off just by touching the thing. I have a golden Nintendo Power anniversary GameBoy Pocket, a good third of the gold paint has come off just from a few years of holding it. I imagine the Ice Blue pocket was painted the exact same way, just blue instead of gold.
As someone who does own a ice blue gbp, I can confirm that is indeed the case.
If you washed your hands before using it, the paint didn’t come off. Source: my mint ice blue gbp. Always washed my hands. The oils from your hands wear the paint super quick. Same goes for anything painted or plastic. First it turns glossy, and then it comes off.

When the title said "DKOldies ruined my life" I was expecting him to open the box and see cockroaches or bedbugs scurry out into his house. Definitely not "this one will be mint with some retrobrighting" and "I'll definitely be playing with this one a lot," but I get it... algorithms and all...
I bought an immaculate second hand "Ice Blue" pocket about 20 years ago. I had no idea that the colour was a limited edition. It was rattling about in my jacket pocket with a couple of cartridges and a small plastic containing 4x spare AAA's for about 5 or 6 years. You think yours is hideously scarred, you should see mine ! Not only has the paint wore off all the corners and edges, but a fair amount of the plastic has worn down too !
The reason I stumbled across this video was because a few days back I unearthed this tatty GB pocket in a box of my old stuff, and (after testing that everything still worked) I decided to show it a little love. I've got parts coming to backlight and "Bivert" it, upgrade the speaker, add one of Giltesa's USB C Li-po charging kits + a 1100mah li-po, and a translucent blue shell to rehome it all in (plus some replacement coin cells for my cartridges, because all of old one I tried in my GB pocket have lost my saved games). If all goes to plan it should be better than new.

It's crazy how some people abuse their consoles too. I see some used so bad. I got consoles from over 30 years ago that still look out of the box. Time is money and my money didn't go into these things to abuse them.

Oh man I have an ice blue GBP that has a really cool backstory. This gave me some serious nostalgia. A buddy who served in Afghanistan took his GBP with him overseas. While there he had an IED go off near him, close enough that he threw him backwards onto the ground. His GBP was in his pocket, and while it got pretty beat up, it still works to this day! He gave me that gameboy a few years ago and I've always been too nervous to restore it myself. I don't want to ruin it! Videos like yours inspire me to try one day...
People are insane to buy from them now knowing what they should know at this point. That’s really all I’ll say. They’re not doing what they say they’re doing and charging a premium on top of it. At least in the US, you would do better to go to a pawn shop, take it home, clean it up, and at a 1/4 of the cost. All of my best finds have been at flea markets and pawn shops. And if you have the gift of negotiation - you’re golden.

It's crazy how DMG Game Boys have leaped in the last 10 years. I sold one to a friend in 2012 for $15 in flawless shape with a screen replacement and that wasn't even much of a loss for me to do that for him

As i'm a collector myself i got some of those videos from DKOldies on my tiktok account where they packed some orders for the customers. And i always thought: Who the hell is going to buy this overpriced stuff? I mean yeah...collecting retro consoles and games is getting more and more expensive. But those prices are (in relation to the condition) way too high. And what's even worse: All those comments on their tiktok videos were like "Wow that is awesome...i'm gonna order on DK now as well!".
