Should I get the flipper zero or not. I don’t fully know what I’m gonna do with it when I get it but am willing to learn a lot. Could you tell me a bunch of cool things it can do and could you give some advice if I should buy it or not as it is coming in stock tomorrow and I still don’t know if I should buy it or not. Thank you pls respond ASAP. I am also willing to get custom firmware and see what it can do

I recommend letting the flipper itself format the card. Had issues with what came stock on the card even though it was supposedly supported
Can I add a repo to an sd card without a computer using my phone? ...like if I download files from github link in description onto the SD card I use for the flipper when it's in my phone and then sticking it back into the flipper?
Edit/add-on: which JSAUX adapter are you using? Do you have an affiliate link? The 90⁰ adapters I see on the website look like they would stick out further than the one you are using on your device...
This reminds me of cyberpunk, being able to hack anything electrical to do something weird to distract enemies

The problem with their firmware is Sub Ghz is lock. If unlocked you can't use their feature

Is it possible to accidentally brick the Flipper when programming? If so, is there a JTAG/SWD header that can you can use to flash the STM32?
BTW, is there a version of Firmware (Xtreme?) that already contains all the most popular scripts (UberGuidoZ, I-Am-Jakoby, JustCallMeKoko etc)?
(I don't have a case, but would love to find a version of the JSAUX 90 Degree Right Angle USB-C Male/Female that is instead just a tiny extension!)
Regarding bricking the flipper, I had this conversation with the devs and the answer I got is yes it is possible, but only if you perform very specific actions, which requires extensive hardware and knowledge about the stuff. It's a while ago but basically you so fundamentally fuck the MCU up that its base fw is done. That requires overwriting a bunch of permissions.
If you did brick yours, I heard of ppl discussing JTAG/SWD for re-flashing but I don't remember more info. Join the discord there are lots of smart ppl here.
Any cfw has an expansion package that contains most scripts/apps.
as for the adapter, there are plenty on the market. I ended up not using it because the added sioze.

Its not in official. For unleashed it should be built in the fw as long with clock and universal remote. No idea why they stayed instead of most others

Can I use this device to get onto a older computer of mine that I forgot the password to? If so how? Can you make a tutorial
It could deploy malware that bypass the password as bad usb device, but I don't know how to. My best advice for locked old computer is maybe reinstall system. Maybe there is a way to backup the old files but that depends on your system. I'm still myself very much a noob.

Sure, I've done the same with a Pi and a few radios that can sit in my rucksack and I can connect to it from my mobile. But the flipper is just a nice all in one package.
