Thank you! I got my Flipper Zero yesterday and to be honest, I know it does tonnes of stuff but I didn't know where to start. Thanks for covering some of the basic functionality and helping me get my head around it.

This seems so cool and useful i just don't understand how they decided to not include Wi-Fi when they even said it was modeled off the pwnagotchi. i know there's a board to add it but it seems like a huge oversite to have left it out.
Probably creates a ton more legal problems in countries available. DoS type attacks are regarded as huge threats in the west.

you could build one, but i doubt it's going to be as small and compact. design is pretty efficient with all the stuff they crammed into it.

I own a tv without a remote and no matter what universal remote I try with it they don't work, can this help me figure out what remote my tv uses?
What tv brand do you have?

Hmm eStar huh? Did you download the IR dumps from awesome flipper? What I would do is cycle down through each tv to see if one is compatible.

Technically yes but I don’t know if it works on the stock firmware

Nope just color variation
You know what else can read/write nfc? Most phones. Same goes with the ir blaster, the difference being phones have an internet connection so can grab presets from the web. For nearly everything else you can do it cheaper with an rpi or arduino
I mean yeah you could problem get most the same functions from an Arduino but will it have a cool evolving dolphin that complains nonstop to keep you committed to getting better at hacking/pentesting? I think not!

The flipper can support any amiibo as it’s a nfc tag.

Be careful because there’s lots of scams. Dudes “selling” them on eBay for upwards of $650, they don’t actually have one. They’ll just send you an empty box. Only buy it from their official website/distributor. Do your research before you get robbed by a secondhand “seller”.

I need help where can I find the password info I extracted from my laptop with my flipper
Oh yeah by default it puts it somewhere weird like C:/Users/“pcname”/ and it was just floating around in there.
nfc is appealing due to amiibo but i dont see the usefulness for anything other that turning off a tv to fuck with someone a little bit does it have any like useful uses that im not thinking of (amiibo isnt worth the price and wait)
Mine primarily gets used as a remote for my tvs, fans, and Xbox One. Also my car only came with one set of keys so I programmed the flipper to act as a second key fob incase I or my wife lock the keys in the car. In the past I worked for a private security company and had all sorts of security key cards instead of having all of those I hypothetically could’ve just taken the flipper.
@@ModernBroadcast hm sounds pretty cool ill look into it more. but dont most modern car keys use a rolling system that randomizes the code to prevent replay attacks? and wouldnt that prevent the flipper from working (sorry if this is a dumb question)
@@intestines6343 that’s actually a valid point. So yes most newer cars 2015(I believe) and on do use a rolling codes. Mines a 2012 so it works and I’ve read it you “unleash” your flipper it then can support rolling codes, I don’t know if that’s true nor do I tend to test that theory.
A lot of tap and go cards use NFC. Those include arcade cards, subway cards, hotel cards, and key cards. It can also do stuff like hijack sub 1ghz RF frequencies. Sure that may not seem like anything crazy until you realize that wireless sensors, Meters, local radio stations, smart home devices, and ect usually operate on sub ghz frequencies. Then you can do stuff like mousejack, keylog, or even use it as a bad USB
This is basically the swiss army knife of pentesting, and it's really powerful.

hum, that tutorial didn't show idye poly by Rit which is the brand I recommend. food dye isn't ideal.

When designing Modern a friend brought up code bullet who I hadn’t heard of or seen prior. Moderns original design had a hoodie and more laid back design. To change this we removed the hoodie added the shirt and tie with jacket.
So long hand we changed Moderns design specifically because of Codebullet.
And not a single mention of Johnny Mnemonic or Jones the hacker dolphin; Kids these days.
