I did everything up untill pluging the devboard into the flipper. When I do the files in GPIO dont show up. After the download, I close the window, plug the devboard out of my pc and into my flipper. what could I have done wrong?

This gives me the idea of a raspberry pi controller, it could double as its own console OR even cooler, can act as a controller with a screen. With idle animations for the game you're playing kind of like the old Dreamcast controllers. You can have an API interface with the controller to identify the game and it'll all be seamless that way. Pretty neat idea.

man this is crazy. I kind of wish they would make a similar product but use the gameboy advance shell instead. GBA is my favorite design by far in the gameboy product line. do you think it would be possible to do this if i asked for a custom order?

I got a clear shell from pcbway a few days ago now. I tried to take the back off of my flipper to swap all of the hardware, but i ended up stripping one of the screws a little. Im not quite sure what to do from here. Im worried im going to strip the screw even more. What do you recommend I do? I was using a PH0 screwdriver, but someone even recommended a PH1.
