I see two outcomes to this Either he gets skinny Pete to hit up Jesse again for another batch and gives him the money from the previous deal to get another batch. Or he simply kidnaps Jesse to learn where he got the meth from cuz Tuco did believe there was no way Jesse made that meth on his own.

The bait is that when you come back, then he beats you. Most likely that begins with, "I sold it for half, here's your cut". Then you have to argue from a disadvantaged position - because now you're arguing over street value and he cuffs you. You have to question his accounts - you catch a beat. You question its value and their ability to sell - you catch a beat. You question his integrity - you catch a beat. You argue that things were said a month ago that he argues weren't - you catch a beat.
Worse, he likely double or tripled his profits by watering it down and now your product has no street value because nobody has ever REALLY tried it. He can lowball you forever selling your product sub-par at half its value. You disagree about it's true value - you catch a beat.
Worse, and a lot worse, a big chunk of it went up his nose for zero profit... the next time they saw him he'd be a crazed wild man.
You have to rationalize that Tuco also is just fishing for violence, he's rationalizing reasons to get violent with you. People enjoy this, they enjoy power, they enjoy inflicting fear, uncertainy and doubt. Jesse was super brave and hyper rational here - Tuco could barely resist his instincts to subvert.
You assert what it's worth and you take your licks. Tuco's trying to beat down your value so you devalue yourself and what your product is worth. This isn't just a business tactic, or a thug tactic, it's a life tactic. People don't want to feel like they're at a disadvantage and admit the truth - your crystal is better. Worse, it's the best. This is why later when Tuco is negotiating with Walt, and Walt blows the roof off, it's the first thing Tuco admits as the truth. Admitting someone has premium product means demeaning your own meth cooks, business and lifestyle which feels terrible. It's an act of humility and most people juuuust hate that. Especially those who built their business on pride - and Tuco's pride as a Salamanca has been wildly in question.
It isn't until Walter comes in and takes the exchange over the top, and gives Tuco a reason to walk away with respect (everyone saw that explosion) does it all change. Walt thought this was an act of dominance but the truth is, Tuco respects violence. They'd earned his respect. You can't dominate people - it's not how business works.
Ironically this is a treatise in self-respect. Jesse took a beat, but even Jesse got some respect from Tuco for it. If it had been ONLY Walt this whole time, Tuco's issue with this exchange would have been Walt's massive ego and likely, Tuco would've been all smiles and nods for ages before he simply captured Walt and forced him to do whatever Tuco wanted. Jesse shows that their team has some humility - and Tuco's respect is earned by both of them. Not just any one.
Jesse might've had to catch a beat to accomplish this, but had it been Walt delivering meth every time eventually Tuco would've beat him up just because Walt wears a stupid hat. It would've been as simple as that - eventually Tuco would've killed Walt.
Subtly this is why Walt let Jesse go. He knew this would happen, he always knew - he used Jesse as a frontman for this reason.
Jesse keeps the operation going far longer than anyone gives him credit for. Not just until Gus, but long after.
To put this in perspective, for the abused and downtrodden - violence is an act of intimacy. For many, they only know violence as a means of communication and interpersonal growth. Jesse making a run for it, playing it cool, and catching a beat sucked --- but when Walt comes in later and nearly blows the place to hell, they don't kill him outright because Jesse laid the groundwork. Had they beaten up Walt, would he have been able to deal with Tuco later in this way? Nope, he would've blown the place to hell. Jesse catching a beat from Tuco sucks, but people respect your ability to get hit - not dish them out.
Tuco softened after Jesse. It sucks for Jesse big time because I'm certain Tuco knows how to hit - and most people have never experienced a true street gang style beat down. Tuco's no punk, he's a Salamanca who's been in prison, they teach you how to hit there. I imagine Jesse was wincing for weeks after this engagement... but Jesse's humility, and ability to understand the terrifying truth and remain brave throughout far exceeded Walt's skills.
It was always Jesse who kept these operations together. Audacity in criminal behavior is a necessity - and as such tends to lead to its inevitable end. Tuco's going to push as far as he can because that's the nature of the business.
Jesse's bravery and humility were what made everything work. Even Gus neglected Jesse's value for a long time until he really "saw it". Humility was not one of Gus's virtues - he treated it like camouflage but it always tired him. It's why he was always so audacious whenever he got the chance to be. Jesse's the real deal.
The key here is to remember how Jimmy / Saul handled a similar situation.
Tuco lived and died by respect.
An interesting character point about Tuco is that he not only let Jimmy off the hook - he listened to Jimmy when it came to dealing out punishment. Tuco commands respect but he's wild for it. He's rabid for it. He even holds it in his hands with a literal embodiment. Tuco's preferred weapon in Better Call Saul? "Taurus Raging Judge". That's no coincidence, that's who Tuco's meant to be. Nacho is terrified of Tuco because deep down, Nacho hasn't realized that he deserves judgment. I like Nacho, he's the man, but he's been a man on the run for years - but not from the Cartel. He's on the run from his father, who he cannot shed himself of, who he cannot reason with, who he cannot protect from his inevitable fate. Nacho runs into oblivion just trying to get away from that - and it's why Tuco barely even acknowledges Nacho's existence and nearly shoots him by accident.
If you don't respect yourself, Tuco will walk all over you until you do. You can't just fear Tuco, you need to respect him. Fear is a kind of respect, but Tuco wants you to respect yourself.
When challenged, Jesse relies on the product he's carrying, he turns to skinny pete for backup, he references principles - he never stands up to Tuco. "We don't do business that way" also cites your friend, but "we" isn't there. Right now Jesse needs to stand up. When Jesse defers to the product, Tuco holds up his own product - then beats him with it.
How hard does a bag of money hit? How fast? Jesse took the hit LONG before Tuco started swinging because that's what Jesse's used to. When the cops sweat Jesse is he going to roll over the same way? When competitors challenge him? This is what Tuco wants to know. He can't work with anyone who can't stand up when it counts... and worse... Jesse's brave as can be. He just doesn't know who he is.
Jesse's only flaw is he doesn't respect himself and Tuco smells it. It reeks. Walt doesn't respect Jesse until the absolute very end, and even then it's a fleeting moment before Walt dies - the ultimate forced act of humility. Tuco, when going up against Mike, see's this and ends up in Jail for it, but if you want to look at it another way - the happiest you will ever see Tuco is right before he beats the tar out of Mike. To Tuco a beat is an act of respect, an opportunity. This is why he's constantly hitting people on the back - it's an act of familiarity.
He gets one from Walt, gives one to Jesse - but after, they're all on the same page.
The time you should be afraid of someone violent is when they tell you a deep, personal, and intimate story... because for many violent people, intimacy and violence are one in the same. Tuco doesn't do that here, but just a tip to the wise. It'll always come to violence the more you get to know these people, because that's how the cycle grows forever. Tuco may have had principles - but one of them is this.
