@@abigbutterstick1780 Likely was prepared, you can see that Tuco has his hands on his ears after the blast - it looks like the actual damage caused by the blast was pretty minimal. Tuco fell because he was disorientated, not injured.
Not unreasonable, though. Being prepared for a blast that simply disorientates others might not be too difficult.

This is the moment where Tuco became Hector.
It's hilarious how Tuco actually shows respect for Walt after he's blown the office up. He doesn't pay him off and tell him never to show his face again, he doesn't give him the money and then send his thugs after him the moment he leaves...he suggests that they go into business together, on favourable terms for Walt.
It shows how warped the guy is. "This guy blew up my office - this is MY kinda guy."
"That dog, he works just like me- he's got a collar, but no leash. I might be able to work with that"
Intimidating folks by being crazy only works if they aren't even more crazy.
Walt also has the product.
Tuco respects Walter because he had to balls to stand in front of him and shows him he means business. Also how far Walter can go to do a deal and just how bad he can be.

Knowing how impulsive Tuco acts in Better Call Saul really puts into perspective how unpredictable Walt was to even surprise Tuco in how far he was willing to go to get what he wants.
The Salamancas in general are also consistently shown to appreciate the bold and the brave. We saw with Hector and Mike, as well as with Lalo and Nacho. You gotta be ballsy to earn the respect of this family, and it's really nice that they kept that through line for all of them.
I mean Walt literally threatened him with a bomb that would blow everyone’s head off. Plus tuco just wanted to take advantage of the meth that Walt had.
You can see respect for Walter in the eyes of Tuco. You need to be more insane and unpredictable than Tuco to gain his respect .

You know something I think he bet on Tuco not hitting the meth. Tuco is nuts sure, but he is street smart. Remember in the beginning of the episode when Jesse visited him? He knew Skinny Pete who vouched for Jesse as a drug manufacturer and user, which is why he prepared the hit, but even then he didn't try it until he forced Jesse to do it first.
Now enter this bald, middle aged guy who looks like he could be a cop about to retire? Yeah, no way he'd try a bag of what might look like meth, but every druggie knows drugs could be anything. That's just what I got from it cause I kinda thought the same thing at first. But Tuco is still a businessman
In that case, the entire bag would have exploded? If 1 chuck can already blow the windows out, and drop the airco's from the walls, the entire bag would level the entire floor, probably entire building? So in thát case, Walt would have died along with Tuco and his henchmen; He wouldnt only have taken revenge for Jesse, he would have eliminated one of thé most dangerous competitors on the market...ánd send out a signal(which would probably work counter-productive as Hector and/or the Twins, would have unleashed hell on Albequerque. But Walt didnt know everything about Tuco's family and their stróng Cartel-connections at this point?

That's called being on shock, makes people act all sort of ways, normally ppl freeze and tremble, in his case, he started acting like a normal human being, survival instinct probably, this show really intended to show realistic behaviour and studied it so I don't doubt that this is somewhat what a psychotic deviant violent mob boss would act when under shock

People think of this as the birth of Heisenberg, but it's important to think of the inciting act. Walt seeing what happened to Jesse in the hospital. That's when Heisenberg is truly born. Criminal mastermind alias yes, but also someone who can be the protector. The person to fulfil the role of the protector for Jesse, for Walt himself, for the White family. As Walt is split between these two worlds, he really does disconnect from reality. Heisenberg is a way to take control. It's Walt's coping mechanism as he struggles to come to terms with his condition, and it manifests as everything Walter never had the chance to be, and fulfilling that fantasy. It's also him realizing that Walt cannot protect Jesse as a father, but he can protect him as a Kingpin. The inception of this character is fueled by a paternal instinct towards Jesse. To me, this sequence felt reminiscent of the injustice Walt Jr is going through clothes shopping, and how Walt comes back enflamed, seeking violence and steps on the bullies leg. It's the response to injustice that gives him the courage to act against his best interest. This early parallel between Walt Jr and Jesse is not without meaning either, Jesse even in these very early days adopts the figure of surrogate son, and to me, this is the same set of circumstances playing out, just now on the other side of that criminal underworld that Walter White can't survive in, but Heisenberg can.
I have a slight issue with part of your reasoning, considering Heisenwalter kills Jesse's girlfriend(s) with poison, just to make sure Jesse keeps working for him.

They were at one point considering Matthew Broderick to play the role. I’m glad they made the right decision.
It is funny how tucos face becomes sober after he realizes that someone is more psycho than he is. Brilliant acting, brilliant masterpiece show.
I really feel sorry for the ones who got bored in first few episodes and never continued.They missed out on one hell of a masterpiece.

The actor who played Tuco turned the role down FOUR times because he didn’t think they’d let him play Tuco the way he wanted to. They were so desperate for him to take the role that they agreed he could play the role any way he wanted. So he did and gave us the wild Tuco we all know and love to hate. The rest is history.

In the entire show this is the only time that Tuco went from 100 to zero in 2 seconds and asked people to calm down... and actually meant it. Impeccable scene with the backdrop of "I'm dead already anyway"

Raymond Cruz is simply amazing as Tuco
Raymond Cruz is one of those special actors that has the ability to match Bryan Cranston shot for shot.
I love how in this scene he’s still acting more like Walt than heisenburg like his voice and body language is still less confident than what we see in later seasons

I rationalized in my head that Walter knew the explosion was mostly pressure, and he opened his mouth as wide as he could, jumped to the floor knowing that most of the pressure wave would direct toward the lowest pressure escape route, the windows, which were the path of least resistance. Also, I assumed he came prepared and was wearing some serious, attentuating ear-protection to protect his eardrums & hearing.
Hal is something else, Malcolm would have been proud to see how advanced his father had become in the meth business. Blessings.
This is before Malcolm was born. At the end of the series, Walter goes into Witness Protection, and takes up his new life as Hal.

Fr. Tuco realized real fast that Walt is just as crazy as him if not crazier. Walt led to the demise of 3 cartels. The salamancas, Jack, and Gus. Even took out Lydia. To think Walt is scarier than lalo, tuco, mike, Gus, hector, etc.

At the very least, no one in that room would be hearing anything anyone said for about half a day after that explosion.
Walter is actually more unpredictable and insane than Tuco... walter looks like he is a sane chemistry teacher, but in reality no one can even think what he is capable of and his enemies and even his family members always underestimated him...
Walt had a long, long time with his mind pondering scenarios like this after selling his share of Gray Matter and seeing it be worth billions and his talents rotting away as a high school chemistry teacher. Him getting cancer was just the final push to set that creature loose on the world.
Walt at this point is sure he's gonna die of cancer. So he doesn't care.
Because deep under he's at his third lexicon.
I love this scene. It's where Waltuh showcases his chemistry skills as he declares his signature line: It's Breakin' time!
