BIG compliments from Canada. Dedication, and patience in this project, so far. I don't know many people who would "volunteer" to repair, test and re-assemble a 30 year old tank. I really think it's worth a lot once it's been restored! Great for "civil defense" against Urban gangs! lol

Seems the exhaust cloud is much smaller and it runs better. What have you changed?
Some of the check valves for the air starter were stuck open, so a few of the cylinders weren't getting enough compression to ignite the fuel
@@jeredhersh789 Well that explains everything. They were basically running an unintentional smoke screen system haha. Thanks for explaining.

Check valves for the airstart were stuck open before, they fixed that

Pressurize the Fuel-Lines without the engine running then bleed them. that should remove the trapped air 100%
The cooling fluid could use a sealer like cinnamon in it that will help with small tiny leaks and help seal up.
How about adding a ceramic filler too the Oil too help with kompression?

het is echt heerlijk om te kiezen voor mig tig of electrode lassen. na veel sparen en alles met en met kopen heb ik het nu een jaartje.. met een argon en een 85/15 mig gasfles.
oeh dat is toch best dun. tig, is best dik.. electrode, effe snel mig, xD
I should mention in case you are concerned with oil leaking from the exhaust, that is completely normal, the engine is made with loose tolerances so it can work in any climate, the side effect being it leaks oil out of the exhaust, but that is completely normal, so don't worry

I don’t know if you have answered this question before in past videos but what’s wrong with the compressor on the gearbox, I saw the video were it was being rebuilt but what happened after that seems a mystery?
It needs the engine to run a long period.. so electricity is cheaper and... less smokey..

No it's for starting the engine with compressed air.
@@martijnvv8031 I have to assume the Soviets didn't carry around an external compressor while on the battle field. Is there a component missing to make the tank self-sufficient? Just a bit confused.

@@iWysocki There are some air cilinders in the tank just like scooby diving cilynders. The tank has all air system to start the engine. There where some leaks so they had to pressurise the air in the cilynders before starting.

@@iWysocki The tank has it own compressor but the engine need to run a long time to fill the air bottles.
With an external compressor they can fill the air bottles cheap with electricity. Its not a regular compressor....it puts out 200 Bar (300 psi)
