WHAT IF MINECRAFT HAD SPACE,BLACKHOLES, PLANETS, ALEINES AND UFO!!!
What if Minecraft had actual witches. Not the angry throw half drunk beer bottles but like they would be able form a small coven to open a portal to the nether and summon ghasts, demons, etc to lay siege to villages. And watch as village guards defend and have villagers take up arms or even flee. Could make the summoning happen during special events like a blood moon or an eclipse.

I'd suggest adding a boss health bar since it is most definitely in boss territory, I'd argue more powerful than any vanilla mob, including the ender dragon and the wither. Might wanna debuff it just a bit... or perhaps buff the dragon...?

Agreed, the Beetles are just too OP since the mummy can just spam it, boss health should be added so in every quarter of the mummy's health it spawns a swarm of beetle.
Buff the dragon and increase the size and decrease the amount (just by a bit) so that you can melee them in one hit.
As for the dragon buffs.... Fire breath while flying?
Shulker creation? Making enderman hostile?

The only addition I would make is giving the mummy a health bar. Makes sense since this is a major boss much like a wither or the dragon.
They should also make it harder to find desert temples maybe one per desert

Tango you could make an episode where you spectate on the other hermits all trying to fight this mob one on one and see who beats him and who joins him. It could be funny to watch each hermits strategy in fighting this undead monster!

I think it would be cool if the mummy follows you forever once you’ve spawned it. So you try and run back to your base a few thousand blocks away and in a frw minecraft days it shows up at your place trying to kill you.

I would add a room of food. Since back in ancient times, people would bury the dead with offerings for their after life so.. I think food would be a good thing to add.

There are actually a lot of things they should add into the desert. Actual pyramid temples like this, but also creatures like scorpions, snakes, and camels would be awesome. Maybe the desert villagers should have Egyptian or Arabic esque clothes. Stuff like that.

That village next to the temple looks suspiciously like the new 1.14 villages. Also, this was made BEFORE Minecon Earth 2018.

This is insane! The fact that it's all made just for one episode... It was incredible. And you were really good at speaking in a way that actually made me want to watch the vid and not just get on my phone lol which really made the whole video perfect.
The cooler Husk. But I honestly think they should wear Egyptian jewelry and use their bandages as whips and lassos. The sarcophagus also definitely needs a redesign as it should be bejeweled with gold and lapis lazuli and be based on those famous Egyptian sarcophagi.
But other than that, this is a very well-thought out mini-boss.

Maybe instead of an item that lets you control undead, you could introduce a staff that summons scarabs to fight for you. It could be repairable via scarab shells that you'd have to gather in boss fights with mummies.

I was making fun of how in the video a creeper shows up and the scene mysteriously cuts to the next scene, but in the next scene everything is untouched, meaning that the creeper probably destroyed the arena so he had to go to another arena and simply summon the mummy to continue the recording like nothing happened xD

I love all of the ideas about this, I especially love the mummies varied different attacks, but I got *one* complaint.
All I got for the complaint is the complexity of the pyramid. Everything underneath it is fine, the traps and puzzles are perfectly fitting, and I love the bannisters, the signs saying what to do, the lava and everything, but this is supposed to be something based in Egypt, correct? To me, the pyramid looks almost Asian, with the sweeping upward points on the corner decorations and all of the different colors. Very different from what we've found in the remains of Ancient Egyptian architecture. Regardless of creative inspiration, while the pyramid is intimidating, it's also incredibly detailed, to the point where it may be considered a bit too complicated and almost hard on the eyes. Also, it's supposed to be decayed beyond compare, much like the pyramids of Egypt (which were once covered in beautifully polished limestone and completely smooth), or really any pyramid around the world (Aztec, Egyptian, Turkish, hell even Chinese) and this still looks brand spanking new, right off the printer.
All I'm saying is that you gotta treat this pyramid like a pair of jeans in the sixties; chain it to the back of a pick up truck and beat the snot out of it. Because that's basically what the desert does to buildings, it chucks everything it got at it and then some. And it can be unique every time, to add more flavor to the pyramid, but looking so new and clean is kind of the opposite of what you're going for.
But I don't know, that's just my two cents.

I just realized how the blindness effect and knockback from the tornado attack make an incredible combo. If you get hit it's hard to tell where you went and where you were a moment ago. You could even combine the tornado attack with nausia, and/or the nether protal vfx for stronger effect

I like the idea of the mummy but it should be called “The Undead Pharaoh of the Desert Land” or just “The Undead Pharaoh”.
I also think there should be some normal mummies in the temple that should be very similar to Husks but with a different skin and some more health. In addition, the old Desert Temple should still remain in Minecraft, but the new one should also be there. And last but not least, the mummy or "The Undead Pharaoh of the Desert Land" should have another skin that looked more like a pharaoh.
I am a fan from Egypt and I respect all you did because we love people who would make big projects or things that temple any thing in Egypt that fills us with joy
The amount of effort that went into this must have been insane!! You should definitely be paid to create these. They're so well thought out and so well executed.
...I also really want this one in vanilla.

We definitely need more "Medium Level Bosses" like this Mummy. (That is, tough creatures that are not as bad as the Ender Dragon, or Wither) Vampires, Werewolves, Magic Users, Groups of Fighters come to mind.

This NEEDS to be an actual boss fight
Nope. I went on the Mowzies' Mobs Mod minecraft forum where players leave suggestions and Bob Mowzie reads them and critiques them. The major flaws of the mummy are in thew way you find it. If this mod was released and a player that hasn't watched this video downloaded it, you should ask yourself:
-How would the player know that the chambers (s)he found are the 'Three rooms' that 'will reveal what is fake and what is real'
-How would the player corelate the word 'torches' with the lava pit things?
-How would the player know s(he) has to bring fireballs/flint&steel to light up the lavapits&bugs? If s(he) got this from the signs that say 'make sure to set each torch on fire', (s)he would have to climb back up and go to his/her house, get a flint&steel/fireball and come back to the desert, get lost, and never find the temple again.
-How would the player know that the symbols are warnings and corelate them to the sarcophagi symbols?
-How would the player know to open the Odd-Symbol sarcophagus?
-How would the player know (s)he needs frie/potions of healing to kill the beetles? How would (s)he know that the beetles are undead and require health potions and not damage ones?
-How would (s)he know how the mummy reacts to arrows?
-How would (s)he know that the mummy is afraid of cats?
Second problems:
-Why would the player struggle to go through a labyrinth just to end up trolled by a boss fight? insthed of rewarding the player with cool loot, the mumy would kill the player(because the player is unexperienced) and by the time the player reaches the mummy again, the diamond armor the player has prepared himself/herself would have dwspawned. The mummy should be nerfed.
-Why would the player open the 'right' sarcophagus? I would rather let the beetles loose, set them on fire and drink milk to cure blindness&poison rather that attempt to kill the mummy
-The amulet is just awful. You can just kill some animnals, gain meat, and breed two dogs to obtain lots of allies that are way more powerful than zombies and don't break. And if this could turn other undead mombs like Wither Skeletons into allies, it'd be just a little better than dogs. Nothing of signifficance. And if you could 'recruit' not seven, but an infinity of zombies, then... uhh... maybe it's worth a try.
Clorox Bleach I was thinking he could drop bandages a new item that I would like to see that heals you 2 bars but it would be called mummified bandages and idk how but they would have to clean in and it would remove the poisonous affect also it could drop a mummy head or it could drop a amulet witch would be used to go to a special place called sand dust
It would be formed like a end portal but it would need to have 2 slots and 4 blocks in it 1 on each side it could be called mummy sand stone and it could be crafted into a totem and have 2 slots and you would have to go to 4 temples but in the video the amulet that would be dropped wouldn’t make them help it would make them powerless and retreat but for the mummy it wouldn’t go in the coffin it would rather try to avoid you witch makes it easier to kill and maybe they can be tamed with mummified bandges and then you would have to craft a sarcophagus and then when you tell like the dog to sit it would go to the coffin and like horses you could give it a totem of undying whatever it’s called
And you could clean it up and make it move faster by unbandgeding it and it would be a mummified zombie cause if you could just get a random zombie and just give it a mummified Bandage that would be stupid and you gave it clean bandages and in the mummy place called sand dust or whatever I don’t name good you went to it it would have a mummy god and to defeat it you would need any thing that can be thrown/shot like bow splash potion etc it would summon sand storms that would throw you around and when it died it would drop somthing special maybe like idkk a thing to make a robot thing? Or a mummy robot when a mummy dies it would drop a thing called organs and you would need mummy bandages around the end 2 organs in the middle and redstone and it would be repaired with redstone and it wouldn’t be a block that gets repaired on an anvil it would be repaired by stepping through it while holding mummy bandages and it would ask you if you wanted to

So, you're saying you can kill the first mummy, get a totem, some amulets and some blocks, go to another pyramid, use the totem to scare away the mummy, kill it/tame it, get more blocks, redo this thing twice more and craft a portal with those blocks that takes you to a boss that you can kill and make a *_ROBOT!?_*

Still planning on covering strongholds? I love these and I would love to see your take on them.
One big remark on why something this will likely never be implemented in the vanilla game is that deserts are common starting biomes in minecraft and the chances of new players coming across a temple before anything else is quite high. This entails that most players won't be equipped to deal with any of this in the stage of the game they're in when finding a desert temple.
That said, I do like many of these propositions and I think it would be cool if these "plus temples" only spawn rarely and several thousands of blocks away from world spawn, and can only be found by, for instance, combining loot from several normal desert temples you must conquer first...

I'm not even a third of the way into this video, and I'm already fucking mesmerized by this. If this kind of stuff actually spawned in game, I'd play survival way more often. For now, though, I'll just keep playing creative mode, building houses in the shape of Garfield's face.

I recommend you make all your “what if” mods public
Personally, about the desert temple in general, i think you should add a rare version where it has an even bigger expanse, with statues of Egyptian gods(or something close) lining a causeway leading to the entrance. The big bad would be a pharoah mummy, with a gold crown and bracelets, with better abilities, and the ability to summon mummies if you leave him alone long enough in the fight. Think Imohtep from the Brendan Fraser the mummy movie duo. (The first two). The bigger temple (or tomb) would obviously have a bigger treasure room, with the big item of the day being a unbreakable flail (as in unlimited durability due to being 'touched by a mortal God), and a crook (a type of staff) that lets you summon 1 mummy that is friendly to you, with subsequent uses just summoning the same mummy at the same helth level.

Bruh, you saw the mummy fight, right? Do you honestly think any sort of enchantments, potions, weapons and planning will allow you to fight TWO of those guys, let alone a more powerful version that summons mummies?

@@tomdekler9280 that boss obviously needs to be nerfed. It doesn't allow much room to experiment with battle equipment. Want to only bring potions, a weapon, and a stack of food with you on a journey? Is that really the only build that can defeat the mummy?

I love pyramids and stuff like this, this would be awesome to have in game. I also think anubis should be in this as a guardian or pyramid mob. Maybe something like ankhs could repair the amulet, if you did all this work just to get a one time thing i think that’d be a little unfair. And maybe lower the damage a little bit. Cause if i found the pyramid, there’s no way i could do this.
Why doesn't Tango work for Mojang so he can do this!

F20CARLO it’s much more complicated than Minecraft’s cartoony style though, I doubt they’d want things in the game that took away the original feel of the game

Okay, to start, I absolutely LOVE this! The temple itself looks beautiful, the traps and puzzles are expertly made, and the mummy fight itself looks incredibly challenging and fun! However, I have a few things to say. First, about the temple.
-The temple traps seem very cheap. The sand into lava trap, for example, has no sure way to counter it, and is virtually inescapable upon activation.
-The sarcophagi's symbols are hard to see without flight. Maybe putting them bigger on the sides of the sarcophagus' sides would help.
-You didn't really explain the houses outside the temple. Those really caught my eye, and it was a shame to not see more of them.
Now, about the fight with the mummy itself.
-The scarabs are far too much of a nuisance than an actual threat, and the fact that you essentially can't win without splash healing potions is pretty cheap. I'm personally not a fan of required tools for fights, but, after all, this is your mod. If it were my choice, the scarabs would be bigger, have more health, susceptible to melee attacks, and be spawned in a smaller quantity.
-The arena you fight in is very cluttered. Perhaps the three remaining sarcophagi disappear once the mummy is summoned.
-The globe of darkness looks kind of unfinished. Nothing gameplay-wise, just purely vanity based. Same goes for the tornadoes, which look kind of not-blocky, but maybe that's just me.
Also, here are some other ideas I want to throw out.
-Maybe the mummy could drop a key to a treasure room in the temple. The temple could have randomized loot, including the Amulet of Undeath. In addition, it could have a variant of the Elytra that created sandstorms, a ankh sword that could have increased effectiveness against the undead, or maybe even a pet scarab that could help you fight!

This is really cool! I remember raiding a desert temple when they came out and feeling like Indiana Jones. Then I thought... "wait that's it?" However, my experience with D&D tells me few people are going to solve that mummy puzzle at the first go-around.
Here's an idea for the Tektopia mod, making different races of Villagers and making it compatible with the MCA mod. The Villager Races could be Elves, Dwarves, Orcs or even Werewolves, if you wanted to. Each race can even exist in different types of Villages, too, like Dwaves live in Villages that spawn in Ravines, or Elves living in Villages built in the Trees. Not only that, but you could also give them some really good lore behind them, as well as how these races live, just to shake things up.
