Designs like this breaks the game's intentions as "simple and easy". I personally like the "lazy" designs, because it encourages players to expand and build their own stuff like this. If this was in the game, there's no point in being creative and free.

Random generated buildings in vanilla are intentionally basic for optimization purposes, if you had giant epic builds everywhere (even if you could get them to generate reliably without bugging out) as default it would make the game lag for more average computers.
There are tons of great builders for Minecraft, it's not that they're unwilling or unable to make better buildings, it's that they're main concern is making sure the game works right and is accessible.

But dungeon rooms are auto-generated randomly

Design is amazing but if they want to implement it to the game, it should take a lot of programming and thinking, like if they want the dungeon to be random, every room should be compatible with each other, the cobwebs should be eliminated or have another way to put it and the amount of space it takes, it should be a huge mountain (but I’m not sure with the new update)

@@Why19827 Pillagers/Illagers were outcasts from villager societies. In all I would just recommend GameTheory's (MatPat's) Minecraft lore theories (most of which are probably canonized), as they do do a good explanation on the hidden lore of minecraft.

In my single player testing world, I built a replica of a stronghold using the Minecraft wiki blueprints (they only list how to make the individual rooms, so I got to design it). It is well maintained, has a garden, and I'm planning on building a woodland mansion on top for the official entrance. Then I will need to put it in a not superflat world. The next challenge would be to make one in survival mode. Or at least modify an existing one in survival mode, seeing as you can't mine the portal frame in survival.
I should also add that my version of Minecraft is an older version, so I don't have observers.

I didn't really understand at first why you put giant spider webs there seeing as a stronghold is a place built to hide from something/someone. I don't really see how someone who wants to hide decides to build a stronghold and hide in a place with giant spiders that may be dangerous, but it turned out to look so EPIC! Who would not like to explore a place like that in minecraft?!

No reason to. The reason as to why the generated structures are plain and simple is so because players can modify them to their liking, like jera's build for example

I really wish you worked for minecraft and developing builds like this to add to normal Minecraft. I stopped playing this game a long time ago along with many other OG players but if things like this were brought into normal minecraft I’m sure so many more people would come back to this game.
Maybe even add its own game mode called “experimental”? E.g. survival, creative, experimental. So it wouldn’t disrupt online games like factions and if you didn’t like the change you could stick to regular survival.

Black Daddy imagine the lag? Most of this build is cosmetic and has no gameplay value besides role play. If everything was interactive, MC would change completely (most likely for the better), but Gb demand would be much higher because of it
@@reggiebell7291 I still think it would work, just as a cosmetic thing. It would make the game a lot more fun knowing incredible buildings are out here, and give some reason to explore. In a game where there's not a ton to do other than build, being able to explore to actually find cool structures would make it a lot more fun. There would only be a bit of lag as the terrain loads, then it would work as intended.

As cool as this looks, the cavern is so big that it would disturb mining efforts, and be way too easy to find.
George Fleming Well, the cavern *might* work. It would have to be spawned significantly lower than it is right now, and they would probably have to rework the seeds so that it doesn’t spawn in a valley and become one massive oddly generated hole with a castle in it (though that could be pretty cool), or it spawns in an ocean and gets flooded, making it a pain in the ass to get into. The entrance bridge and the giant spider-webs would be a no-no if they made the cavern random though. There’s no way they could make that work without breaking something and making it look bad unless they made the whole cavern preset, which would cause problems with the seeds that I mentioned.
The concept seems cool to me, honestly. I’d welcome it as a separate mode or world generation type like someone else on this thread suggested.
Like, have a structure generator section of the world tab to be set to ether “simple/classic” or “complex”.

@@zeno1099 true but they could definitely improve the structures which shouldn't be too hard considering what modders have done. Many of the buildings are underwhelming and need to offer more of a challenge to players with boss battle rooms and more traps.
