Tango Tek I have an idea! What if: Minecraft Had Nether Monuments
Tango Tek what if Minecraft, had an ocean boss. Cause you made another monster for the nether.
Thor, The God of Thunder. Or anything Marvel. Or anything superhero. Don't care.
Tango Tek you should make a kraken but not like the lava one
-it can suck things into its mouth from a 20 block distance using a sort of whirlpool
-it targets all mobs
-to kill it you chop off its tentacles exposing a weak spot
-it can sink your boat (craftable)
You could add more stuff but just wanted to share my thoughts

I've seen some people in the comments voicing mild concerns about what walls of fire everywhere might do to a village made of wood and villagers made of... well, whatever, something that's certainly not fireproof.
Since fire is already a serious hazard to all wooden villages out there, why not add a second fire-department golem, tasked with putting out fire and solidifying lava, as long as these are at least a certain distance away from enemies.
That would make sense. Maybe he would spray out a harmless jet of water that could double to keep hostile mobs away, as he would be unable to defend himself
Better yet, water-spraying drones
Remember Comics, and refill stations too, or an IA to haven them refill @ the nearest pond.

Use spectator mode's mod perspective but allow for control of movement and weapons.
I like it, but at that point even the Wither wouldn't stand a chance.
Yeah if u kill the mech golem it gives one piece of its suit and is only spawned one in every thousand villages!
anyomus random I think a good way to balance it would be making it very cumbersome, and nerfing some features just a liiitle bit.
'Cause trust me, the game wouldn't be very fair had you rockets to protect you from any danger.
Another possibility would be having it very endgame, so it isn't *too* easy to obtain. Because, as i said, it is very overpowered.

Normal iron golems can already defeat a single ravager with ease, so I agree with the mech golem saying it WON'T be legendary... Unless the illagers get the same overhaul villagers got. Speaking of which, there needs to be villager versions of the evoker and the pillager, named the sorcerer and the archer. They behave the same as their illager counterparts, except they don't attack villagers and iron golems.
Wither: Finally, a worthy opponent. OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY!
The sorcerer would summon light from the sky to set his enemies on fire, instead of crossbows the archer would have a normal bow, then their would be the brawler with two swords.

If you make it bigger, decrease the range of the jump, make the rockets deflectable like ghasts, and the laser slower. Insane Boss Battle (activated when you kill a bunch of iron golems, say 20?)
Won't the fire from the lasers burn down the village? And also, splash damage from rockets can harm villagers, and won't his hulk leap also send villagers flying?
This seems too dangerous for a practical village defense system. This is more like a war machine

Yea but what person would spawn a wither in a village... but you're right. Withers become invulnerable to projectiles when at half hp, and the laser can't point upwards

maybe as an update you add the V.P.P. (village protection protocol), if villagers are getting harmed the iron golem prioritises the enemy attacking them
This has to be one of the coolest and most hilarious things ever conceived in Minecraft modding history, I just love it so much. Extending piston arms to grab enemies and get them close (And a proceeding melee attack). Maybe nerf the ranged attacks a bit so that a melee weapon has some merit, and maybe it could have unholy amount of knockback for the fun of it. Maybe even a giant buzzsaw as a melee weapon that cuts up enemies into minced pieces?

What if Minecraft had npc's that build, mine, craft, hunt, and explore like a player does? Would they be friendly? Would they be hostile? Would they try to communicate with you by using signs or books? Would they follow you home? Would they invite you to their home? Would they trade items? Would they steal items? Would they grief? All of these actions could rely on a randomized code provided to comprise their own unique a.i. when they load in. I think it would be awesome. What do you think?

SykosymatiK I'd rather they would be friendly until provoked. Also, considering it would be hard to implement intelligent talking, they would probably be silent. Plus, it would fit right in with the game, what with having minimum dialogue.
And maybe you can have them move into a house if you build one for them, just like in Terraria.
Also, them griefing buildings would be kinda a dick move, so no, i'd rather not have that. I do agree with them having different behaviors when they load in, though.
Overall, the idea would be solid if the villagers didn't already fill in that role.
The villagers do not fit that role. Intelligent speaking would not be that difficult to implement . A series of messages and questions are applied to the npc, depending on their personality. I understand we're talking about a lot of code here, but if someone were up to the challenge, I think it would make for many awesome experiences. Perhaps they wouldn't try grief unless you provoked them in some manner.
In conclusion, the mod would give you complete customization over the attributes assigned to the npc's. We could also add a "Wussy Mode" so that the npc's won't try to grief folks like you. 😉
Honestly, that jumb attack, without the whole missile and laser would be a pretty nice add to the golem. less problem to clear the area. Still exist, but more practical
i feel that if it is nerfed it could be a great addition to minecraft, maybe add slots to an iron golem so you can put a limited number of attachments onto it and give it an ammo slots, like tnt for the rockets, red stone for the lasers, and maybe a coal burner for an energy source for utility, and maybe a slot for an item with loyalty so the golem will follow and protect you

The jumping thing just makes it worse but otherwise this is cool! Maybe have TYPES like pandas where they only have one of these upgrades per iron golem... maybe some types could be “laser hands”, “rocket launcher” (although idk if I like that upgrade very much), “super defensive” which could have extra health and cool armor, “flying” which could hover like five blocks high for defense, and maybe even “healers” that can sacrifice their own health to revive zombies and heal other golems????

I have no idea how stable these mods are, especially in combination, but could you get a few Hermits or your patrons together, equipped with better slime balls (super slime), and fight the kraken, the mummy and this monstrosity as a team?

Yeah, I like the idea of course its just for fun. If the fire damage was removed and the golem had an inbuilt "do not hurt villagers" system this could be a practical upgrade to the base game. I'd suggest making acquiring such tech very difficult, like blueprints or gear available after defeating the ender dragon or found in the End, or nether fortresses. The gear or gear pieces could equipped on a golem and bang... a nice little easter egg or trivia like the Wither not needed but just added flavour.
Yeah, if the laser didn't leave out fire, this would actually be an interesting addition to the game.

Instead of just fir resistance, when caught on fire or touched by lava, the mech golem would become red hot. The rockets would explode bigger and do more damage, the laser would be stronger, and when enemies touched the golem they would catch on fire

Also what if minecraft had temperatures and diseases? Right now cold biomes aren't actually cold and deserts don't make you dehydrated or anything, it'd be nice to see a more hardcore survival game. Normally we go from surviving to thriving really quickly.
