Dr Shabir, My question is why does god allow animal suffering in general? Be it from the hands of butchers or even other carnivorous animals. I understand that for humans suffering is to test our faith, but animals don’t quite have the same intellect so why does harm ever befall them? Why has god created such a brutal food chain?
How do you know the fate of each and every animal. When you die you will be food for other dentrivores and bacteria.
And Allah alone will bring you back upto even the finger tips, even if were turned to dust or iron.
There is nothing in material reality that does not glorify Allah alone.
Everything submit to Islam.
Beautiful, and prophet Soleiman (as) spoke to animals, animals were also mentioned as protectors, the dogs in the chapter of the people of the cave.

The “materialist shift” in religious understandings. We observed the religious expressions of humans and the behavior of animals. Three motifs in religious understandings (traditions, the encounter with death, the encounter with natural forms and phenomena) and close by reflecting on the implications of animal behavior as religion for the understanding of religion as a whole.Animals, insects and plants depend on their environment or habitat to receive the basic needs for survival. An ecosystem or habitat provides populations of animals, insects and plants with food, water, shelter and space. If all four of these basic needs are not available in a suitable arrangement, animals, insects and plants can not exist. All populations of living things are interrelated. When one population of animals,insects, or plants increase or decrease, other populations of living things are also affected. Let's assume all the dead hollow trees are removed from a forest ecosystem. Cavity nesting animals such as bluebirds, nuthatch, wrens, screech owls, squirrels and woodpeckers have very little, if any, shelter available. The number of animals of this type would be reduced. Insect populations could increase because of fewer insect eating birds and trees and other plants could be negatively affected. The whole ecosystem is affected. Human activity has the greatest impact on the amount and quality of habitat. The understanding of animal behavior for varied reasons and the field is extremely broad, ranging from research on feeding behavior and habitat selection to mating behavior and social organizations. Understanding animal behavior because it sheds light on human beings .Research on non-human primates, for instance, continues to offer valuable perspectives into the causes and evolution of individual, social, and reproductive human actions. Understanding why some animals help others at the potential cost of their own survival and reproduction, for example, not only gives us insight into their behavior but could also potentially help us to understand the underpinnings of our species' ideas of altruism and sacrifice. Motivation, the desire or willingness to engage in a behavior, can be positive or negative and vary in strength. Motivation is positive for tasks and outcomes that animals wish for and negative for undesirable activities. Animals can be selfish in front of other animals without their behavior being reported to absent others. Not so for humans: People could hear, discover, infer, remember, report, hypothesize, plan, and act on others’ behavior - even long after the event. Religion was formed as a way for humans and not animals to feel better about the forbidden unknown after they die. Religion is something rather than nothing that we believe onto ourselves to make sense of our own deaths and meanings of life. Fear or faith? Not so for animals, insects and plants.

All animals are the creatures of God as well and they need to be protected and treated well, it is right to live vegetarian, Allah be praised, amen.

Well if King Solomon ( Suleyman Aleyhisalaam) was given the gift by Allah to speak and understand the the languages of all animals that means the animals have their own specific mind , consciousness. The souls of the animals also return to Allah their Creator but they will not be Judged at Allah's Court in the Day of Judgement. Only we Humans and Jinn will be Judged. The bodies of the animals also are made from earth.
I dont understand why people feel shy or fear to say that RELIGION WAS INVENTED BY THE PEOPLE.
Because Allah invented the deen of Islam

some intelligent animals perform what can be called religious ceremonies, like examples.
Chimpanzees throw stones at hollow trees and dance in rain and waterfalls or to scare off fire.
Elephant lifting a branch facing it to the full moon. At full moon they are not aggressive and attack the village as if they don't want God to see them commit a sin. They also bury the dead with branches and flowers and make pilgrimages to the graves of long-dead elephants.
Animals are not much different from us. they have feelings and show emotions, some intelligent enough to understand religious concepts.

Where does the Qur'an say that animals have nafs but not ruh? This is something some "scholar" came up with. These kinds of easy answers are made for people who can't think critically and have no confidence in their ability to do so. Allah's relationship to animals is a mystery. They have limited free will just like we do. A cat can choose to chase a mouse or not. He can choose to go outside or stay inside. Evolution has shown that animals can adapt to new situations, even in a short space of time. Because they don't have opposing thumbs they have limited ability to create an environment that will expand opportunities for free will to operate. So, since they are not arrogant about creating a better world like we are, they actually probably worship Allah better than we do. I think this is the point of the story of Suleiman and the ants. We think of ants as something to disregard; yet, we don't know about their relationship with Allah. Maybe we don't know as much as we think we do? Y'all better do more critical thinking than you have done.

Animals have soul (Nafs) but not Spirit (Roh), that are given to have connection with GOD. For example animals does not given Spirit that used to worship GOD.

Spirit / Ruach/ Roh ( Heavenly )

Soulish mean our perception, our sight, our senses, flesh and blood this are earthly.
Through our spirit I am in contact with GOD . However, when I am soulish I live according to my understanding, my senses, & my flesh is used to serve this world. Then my spirit is also filled with that which is of this world, with the result that I have little or no contact with God.
Salvation in Christ is meant to change this relationship so that I become Spiritual & heavenly instead of soulish/ earthly. The result is a life of faith instead of a life according to my human understanding.
Having soul alone is not enough to receive the Wisdom from above ( Heavenly ).

Is Allah 1 (singular), Tawhid? Yes, Allah do everythings by himself, whole creation, whole existence only by him alone! this makes him so UNIQUE! ..except to sent down the Revelation (Qur'an).
Suddenly the most Al MIGHTY , Eternal, Powerful,& UNIQUE God cannot do by himself, but associated himself with a 2nd party, a partner, passed the torch to Jibril. The 2nd party Jibril shares his Glory .

Yes, Allah is independent, eternal, self sufficient, Almighty and so on.
The point you're not seeing is that "Allah create..." , ( singular /Tawhid /allah alone were involves from the very beginning ) in the entire creation, in the the whole process of existence .
Nor did angels, Jibril or any existing beings was there to give a hand when Allah began to CREATE.
So my point stands right?
The " Uniqueness " of singular God ( Tawhid ) did NOT emphasize. Clearly Allah associates with a 2nd party who shares His Glory & His works.

@@cloudgil1862 My cat knows instinctively that idol worship is wrong and blasphemous.. so it went to church and there it saw idols everywhere again yet they were preaching 10 commandments inclusive of the verse that prohibited idol worship...it saw a giant cross with a man hanging in diapers on it and said '' Ay Caramba this is worse than a Temple!!''
Then it read bible and saw Jesus never said anyone should worship him or make stautues of him, exactly what it heard in Hebrew Bible lectures so it wanted to go to Judaism...then it found out Jesus was not recognized at all there in the scriptures....Then it saw CNN talking about Moslems and Terrorism!! It went to download Quran and Islam from Internet and found out there was no violence or even idolatry in Islam and it still could keep Jesus the Messiah as Prophet of Islam..it visited the mosque and saw there was no statue finally...it all made sense, my cat converted and never looked back!! and my cat lives happily ever after till today!! Hallelujah!!
