A thousand years from now, if the people tried to understand the religious situation of today just by looking at the archaeological excavations, they would for sure claim that all the people were polytheistic at that time. Because monotheism leaves no idols and ‘archaeological’ footprints behind.

The more we come to know, the more we understand how very much we still don't know. I used to think I had to have all the answers. Mystery wasn't an option, and certainty in every subject was my goal. Realize not to take what we know and what we are learning about reality itself as literal. Material World refers to the physical world where we live, work and play, whereby all our natural senses, like sense of sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, movement, and feeling, are capable of grasping the concrete realities like people, places, things as they appear to us. Reality for humans is based on what we have learned so far about our reality. So human reality is evolving and expanding as we learn more, thus reality will never stay totally the same for humans. Reality (Constructed, Objective, Subjective, Empirical, Instrumental and other Realities) is nothing but a collective opinion - an idea in which some confidence is placed or, a reasonable collective representation of “the way things are.” Reality is not simply acknowledged, but must be discovered or reasoned and is liable to falsification.

Human brain has designated regions and neurons for spirituality unlike animals. Which implies we are programmed to look for our creator. Hence we did not invent God. We just fulfill our mission by searching for him.

Anthropological studies of humans creating a God figure out of fear of death and wish for justice does not explain why it’s only present in humans. Because animals has to go through the fear of being eaten alive whole through their existence then why they don’t resort to finding a God figure.

One other human programming is prolonged nurturing period for a child to become adult unlike any other animal on earth. Due to that a human child feels loved,protected and later looks for a Supreme protector. It implies a Supreme Creator wanted human to be different than animals and search for His protection which resembles his mothers love and protection.

As a new Muslim revert, I am very impressed with this program and Dr. Ally. I did not realized that he also was a student of the other religions and that makes me greatly happy as I have also been studying the other religions on my own in their original languages.
I have prayed several times to be allowed to learn the actual pronunciation of God's name, as the Jews make it extremely ambiguous to learn it's pronunciation and I am very impressed to hear Dr. Ally pronounce it in public on this program. Thank you Let The Quran Speak, thank you Dr. Ally, and thank you God for allowing me to hear your name.
Although, translating יהוה into Arabic makes the pronunciation seem like Yahuah, and it is the same gematric value of 26. I don't wish to mispronounce God's name ever, and I would love some further clarification on the subject: does he care exactly how we pronounce it?

By fitrah,mankind recognizes His one God and perhaps they don't know Him fully except with superficial definitions. God presented His monotheism thru His manifestations around mankind and thru His messengers to explain about Him and their way of life. After a messenger gone, people invent false deities and then forthcoming messenger reminded their truthandtheir true way. Thats the essence.so by nature mankind is monotheistic and mankind has its innate beleif there is no deity except God Almighty.
I love the answer of the sheikh in prospective and careful aproach but he ignores the ancient mesopotamian as well as egyptian historical facts prior to Greeks and veda.

If youve already had severe doubts likely you cant turn back. It must run its course. You like all ppl are resisting it so bad coz u want to believe so bad. Trust me ive been there years ago. Having doubts just makes you look for knowledge which opens up even more questions, Do you not wonder why so many ppl are ignorant of their own faith ?
God is not some chair you can point nor you can quantify it by putting in a test tube, running a controlled scientific experiment, science is however still not yet perfected, due to the problem of underdeterminism(which states a theory with set of proven results can contradict another theory with set of proven results as well) and Problem of Truth of which Godel incompleteness theorem states that mathmatics that contain true statements can never be proven hence proving the limitations of math which is primary and only language which the whole of science depend upon solely. Science thus can never prove or disapprove god at all, like never ever. God is literally outsife domain of the intellect, god can only be known by going meta of things. ultimately self-meta, because god can only be known from within.

Allah, Himself, addresses Monotheism in another way:
" Had there been more than One God, there would be much chaos in the Universe."
We need to get away from the notion that God/ Allah, is some kind of Supreme Being. God is not a Being.
The Quran says .. do not waste your time trying to figure out what God is. We will never be able too, no matter how intellectually advanced we become.

We seem to know a lot about God, Religion, life after death wish none of us have experience than putting in efforts here on earth eliminating human suffering. Providing humans globally basic necessity education, proper shelter with lights, running water. Food, Health care. How about we master that before focusing so much on God.
Religion's aim has always been JUST THAT. The suffering and misery that we all witness around us, mostly, are due to human lust for more stuff, money, and power. We have become sicker as a society globally because the loudest voices are rejecting God, Whom has the right to tell us best how to live in harmony with each other and nature. That is what religion is suppose to be about. But even religion has been and will always be used against morality. So many religious figures of the past have foretold about our present crisis, it amazes me how so few people care to consider what they've said. But, to each his own.
First off, what was the first language that God spoke? Have you ever wonder when we get to heaven, how are we going to be able to understand other peoples languages in heaven?

Down through the ages Man has intuitively discerned that there is more at work in our reality than can be explained by randomness. That we are unable to identify the actual agent or force, we are left to characterize that entity or force, each for ourselves. Plato identified four planes of Human existence one of which is a Spiritual plane, the keeper of our purpose in much the same way that our Emotional plane is the keeper of our Feelings or our Intellect is the keeper of our thoughts. We reach out with Intuition and solidify with belief our relationship with that which is greater than ourselves. Unless of course you wanna make a buck then you start a religion-themed business (aka Religion) and start jockeying for marketshare. FWIW.
It's the God of the Gaps that fueled Religions. Humans lacked scientific explanations, so things looked like "Magic" or "Divine". Lightning is probably the most powerful and famous example. And Total eclipses. In fact Colombus took over an entire Tribe by threatening them that he will make the Sun will turn black.

God is an idea, invented at some point in history, quiet recently. All human beings who lived before, and we're talking about hundreds of thousands of years, had other ideas and there was no God there to tell them any "truth" or to show them any path to any heaven or any hell. The idea of the one God is a little more sofisticated than the idea of the many Gods. But the idea of the absolute or the theory of evolution, are even more sofisticated. God is an idea that's not necessary to explain life or the absolute.

God as most of as define - one who created everying and is all powerfull is the creation of humans. They extended the simple logic there all man made objects are created by some body. So any thing which was not the work of humans (like the earh, sun, stard and the human themself) must have been created by someone. That someone is GOD. Now there is logical error in this argumet. If everything needs created, who created God. How to close this hole - put a theory God is neither created nor destroyed - He was uncreated.

Read Qur'an Sura 20: 9- 20 and understand it very well however, the Qur'an says in 6:116 thats its a book that talks in details beside Allah also says that there's nothing that can be compared to him but he came or as you said talked with moses through fire and also talked with the prophet through fire but when the prophet was asked to describe Allah what was his description he gave.

No. But Muhammad invented Allah. That's why he didn't know the name of the God of Abraham, how to correctly represent any of the teachings of Judaism or Christianity, denied that God is a Heavenly Father (as both the Jews and Christians knew), didn't know about the Sabbath, got confused about the Trinity and though Mary was a member, and on and on.
He even had his followers pray like pagans and not like the Jews or Christians.

When you know a certain book is revelation from One Mighty God (this is what it means in Arabic word “Allah”) and that books words are exactly same the way they were revealed during the life time of prophet Muhammed (PBUH) then entire discussion ends there and then.
It becomes imperative for us to believe in those words.
And few things which we can not decipher, leave it to Allah who will make them evident in the Day of Judgement.
