Omg. They better not throw my fish 😡🤢!!!! Lil buddy will do fine- you had expert assistance. I know it will work out!! But the visual of the box flying across the room is a little haunting 😳! I will let you know how it all turns out... and again- thank you Bob!
A super red...How cool is that?! You are now the most envied person in all of Bobdom! Can't wait to see the little guy in a video. It's destined to be a star :)
Laura good luck !! Can't wait to see it!
my jealousy level is at 8999
I'm gonna be nervous all week!
Laura that awesome you're getting your bristle nose 😀🐟
your heat pack tutorial blew my mind, I never thought about the peak of a heat pack till now and "stacking" them as heat timers!! Your po box throwing demo also ...hilarious!
The dynamic duo strikes again!!! Thanks Bob and Cory.

I hope so, thanks Flynn
Thanks Cory! Thanks for sharing Bob!
No problem :)
steenfot and cory are probably some of my favourite youtubers you guys are awesome
Thanks for the kind words Happytroll :)
you are a great student in this hobby learning along the way I wish I learn as much as u and Cory know about the hobby and learn how to say all the scientific names of fish .thank u for teaching us stay bless my friend.
I wish i knew how to say the scientific names, the trick is just sound confident when you say them and people will think you are pronouncing it right. Because no one really knows how to pronounce them correctly lol
Haha, what a fun video :) All-star cast there, Bob... Cory and Seraph. Winner! And sending Laura a coveted super red. You are the Willy Wonka of fish shipping, rewarding the patient and undemanding. Love it!
She has been patient and undemanding, i think she paid for that fish in December.... lol. I have great customer service haha
Back to the Steenfott intro love it!
Good info! I'm getting ready to ship my first fish. I'll be using heat packs. I'm probably choosing the worst time of year ever to learn how to ship fish, haha
Its not as scary as it seems. So far i have 100% success rate =)
Steenfott Aquatics right on ^^
Great Job and the best of luck.
Thank you Paul

Thank you Tim
Yeah don't say anything to the postman or they might go postal and punt the box :) good luck little fish!!!!
Congrats on your first shipment Bob!
Thank you Okie Rogue
Good video guys and info!
Thanks for watching Reggie =)
Love your videos Bob enjoy your channel!!! I would love to see a video on your local fish store :)
Whats up brody I love that planted tank behind you to my left with all those really nice numerous variety of fish, love the roseline barbs.
Roseline barbs are one of my all time favorite fish.
How many fish do you have in that tank, how many gals? Do you think UV sterilizers are worth while, or a waste of time?
SECOND BOYYYYY!! Bob can you ship to South Africa?
Great video Bob! Glad to see that you were also nervous with your first shipment like I was nervous with my first shipment. do you ever feel attached to the fish that you send? I just sent snails and a plant and I felt attached to the snails ha ha. This is a great video thanks to Cory and thanks to you! happy fish keeping!
I'd say by the end i was a little attached. I felt like i was sending him off to war and hopefully he makes it through the battle =)
lol I know it!!!
Pleco packing protocol :D LOL
That's my shirt!
what did you use for air? and also was this overnight or priority?
what would you do without Corey Bob he's such a legend m8
Another great video. What about the red stripe on the heat pack? Is that supposed to face inward?
I honestly have no idea lol. I have had one sitting out for a few days now, and i dont notice any difference in heat from either side.
Just did a search and some info is that there are vent holes in the red stripe and to not cover the red stripe and if the pencil hole in the box is used to line the red stripe up with it. Thought there was some reason for it wasn't sure wonder what Cory says.....
Good luck
Hi Bob, I have a problem and maybe you can help. All of a sudden my well water has high nitrates and therefore my tanks have high nitrates. Any idea what I should do? RO/DI then add buffers? Seachem denitrate? Biopelllet reactor? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Thank you for this! I plan to start breeding fish, mostly guppies and tropical schooling fish, but I am considering trying bettas again (didn't work last time...), and if I do breed them, I want to sell some from my etsy store. I think that would be a fun way for me to re-home my babies and also make a small amount of money.
Awesome! Sounds like a good plan
Thanks for replying! Any advice for getting good quality bags and heating packs for a reasonable price?
Awesome, thanks so much!
Can you ship plecos 2-3 day mail or overnight only. Ik with bettas they can do 2-3 days cause they’re labyrinth breathers
Hello I have 6 grown common goldfishes they’re about 3-4 inches each and I wanted to know if you think it’s worth it shipping it out? Do you think they’ll make it? If I can ship it out how many goldfishes should I put in each bag?
The Good Ol Days
Where did you get those bags from?
It's good to see how it's done. Do you plan on getting into shipping fish and shrimp?
Probably not shrimp because i couldnt compete with Flip aquatics or lrbretz, and i wouldnt want to. I would like to get into shipping plecos, spread around some pleco love.
Same process to ship fish 4" and up?
How much are those super red bristlenose?
Bob, what does a red one go for at the lfs? My area never has those.
Pa. Fish Preacher I'd say 10.00 that size
I poke a hole in the corner near the edge of the styrofoam so the heat pack doesn't suffocate because I had a customer tell me she lost a couple snails when her pack failed :/ the rest survived but I was bummed. news paper packed in between everything works well, I even ship snails in cups so they have no chance of getting crushed. ( unless some idiot runs over them in a truck -_-)
Have the fish reached their destination yet?
your cichlids were looking at me
"Could be"- Cory From Aquarium Co-Op 2017
In theory.
I told a local post office lady it was fish in the box. She turned around and threw the box 6' into the bin and looked at me and smiled. i was furious and will never go to that location again.
Yup, these days you are far better off not saying anything =(
Tk Aquatics my post office ( and the one near my mom) are really good about live animals. they understand small time sales and how important careful handling is. neither have made a big deal even shipping feeder cultures like vinager eels ^^ I even showed them what they were. I'm really sorry about your experience some people just don't care
That's why over here in Europe, at least in the country I live, it's not allowed to ship live animals using a "standard" post office or service. You have to use a specialized service provider/courier, and these guys usually treat the boxes very well. Yes, it costs around 4 times as much, but as we're dealing with live animals, I'd say that's perfectly okay ...
Thanks. The fish at least made it fine. I now go a little further to another location. The guy there knows if I am coming in instead of doing a pick up I have live fish in my box. He treats them with care. Makes me feel a little better about leaving them even though I know they still get tossed around by other employees but what can you do.
now that you know how to ship you should sell cherry shrimp out of your guppy breeding tank!?
If they didnt sell so fast locally, i would probably think about.
How do you add O2 to the bag? Do you just blow into it?
gregg horner I use an air pump
Steenfott Aquatics just a normal aquarium air pump?
Thomas Fonseca yes it is
Did he make it?
He is still en route, should be there Thursday or Friday
First boyyyyy
ship more fish to Laura, give her half your fish room. they'll all fit in her 5 tanks no problem.
rurutu M hahaha 😂😂😂 id need a fish house like Joeys building
soooooo hows the fish shipping going lol
Lol
does this mean you can sell me some shellies?!
Ship me some red delta guppies
Man you should have just sent more then one fish for her.
