    Finally someone who understands quarantine! Lol i cant say i wouldn't have expected you to. Haha even some advanced hobbyists dont QT. and many times, the people that do QT only do so for less than 4 weeks. 4-6 weeks is definitely required IMO. Great video as usual Joey!

    Hey I live in Canada and I'm looking for fish online could you recommend some sites that are good? I used to live in Hamilton Ontario buy a big box fish store named big owls who had every brand of filter aquarium sums and all sorts of fish since I've moved 2 South Hampton which is basically in the middle of nowhere when it comes to aquarist I only know one fish store in the only brand that they even sell is Fluval for filters don't sell aquariums but they sell the fish their tanks looks so terrible and I just really want to know where I can get fish

    I have questions, "Just example ok", 1. If I live in a cold climate or in a winter season, someone order my fish, but he lives in California or wherever is hot climate, is it okay to use heat pad or not? Using heat pad from here to California is necessary, but the problem is the heat pad is warm and California is a warm and hot climate as well.. warm + warm = hot for sure. I just wanna know and make sure before I make a shipment... 2. If I live in a warm or hot climate, do I need to put a heat pad and add some ice in the box before shipping to other states that are cold? "Just Example"

      Tom Hill Jesus, Maria and Josef. You did not see the video? He said you don't have to put water from your aquarium into the bag that is containing the fish you just bought. I have always tried to accumulate the fish to my water.
      My water is actually pretty good for my rays and discus and I do change about 80% a day... So please do not worry about my fish!!!

    Can you just add oxygen to the bag with a regular air pump?

    • @HomeisthroughYou
      @HomeisthroughYou Před 8 lety +1

      No, you need pure oxygen, as in compressed. A regular air pump would put the same type of air you would 'squeeze' down into the bag when you are tying it.

      And so you dont have to ship them back they could be rented, and there would be distributors or more fish stores hopefully within driving distance.

    I believe pictures are not reliable. They could just put it to sleep with anesthesia (home made) and the fish would look dead. Videos are much more reliable and I recommend the customer NOT open the bag. If it's been opened, they won't receive any refund or fish of same quality because you never know if they put something in the bag
