Great video, I have a 5400, this helps a bunch.
Damn you got me winded just by hearing you winded lol
I never have been able to afford a shop with a concrete floor and never will but I make do. I have a 5105 which is very similar from the dash foward. I noticed recently the PTO seems to be slipping some under load when engaging the Bush Hog.Hopeully a linkage adjustment is all it needs. I was disappointed to find the PTO clutch is part of the clutch assembly and not a separate unit inthe rear end. I dread replacing it but I do have a shop manual for the tractor which shows how to do it.
NICE DOES IT NEED TO BE IN NEUTRAL TO GET THE INPUT SHAFT OUT THE 3020 IM WORKING ON DOES NOT COME OUT 😢
This one does not need to be in neutral, it just seats straight into the splines. There is not anything that holds it in.
@@wrenchwranglers OH OK THANKS I STILL CANT GET IT LINED UP TO SLIDE BACK THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE
Nice splitting rig, but that's a lot of rust on the clutch pack and actuator... where was this tractor working I wonder 🤔
Good question.... I had asked the owner about it and he said he bought it at auction awhile back so we may never know.
I think I would have pressure washed it first thing.
Is this the same guy who goes by Vice Grip Garage?
No lol…. That is Derek.
