750 class triple - HELL YES ! I always loved the 750s and was sad to see so few manufacturers making them anymore. I think it’s the perfect size/weight.
Hey Yammie There are a number of owners who are reporting sudden engine cutouts at various times under various riding conditions, some have reported it happening in some riding situations that have caused them safety concerns. It also appears to be happening across a broad range of mileage as well. See the 765 forums and facebook group for more details. Any serious review of this bike should include the concerns listed by the owner/ members of the forums and groups. I hope if it happens to you that it does while you have good video! We need good documentation to take to Triumph so they can properly address this issue! My Moto 2 #064 only has 54 miles on it and has not had this issue, but I fear it is only a matter of time.

Huge fan of your channel. I have had a few 675 and a 675R…love triumphs. Landed the holy grail 765 today and am like a kid right now! So fired up!
I sat on one of these at the local shop in NOLA a month ago. It's badass for sure and thought it was a 20k bike all day but I believe it was about 16k
My nephew got the 765 Daytona just before lock down (one of only four sold in Ireland), he's let me ride it and it handles like nothing else availible today, the closest I could compare it to is the TZ 250s I used to race in the late 80s and early 90s, also the triple roar from it is orgasmic, I thought my Street Triple R sounded good but this is on a different level. a truly wonderful bike.

Same as others reported. I have also had the engine/rear lock up on my Rest of the World model, twice. Generally it seems more prevalent when you’re conducting the Break-in period, if you try decelerating/breaking hard in say, second gear for a corner. It’s like the ignition cuts and everything locks. I wonder if many of your subscribers with DM2’s have experienced this? Worth asking? My dealer has just reflashed my ecu and declared it fixed but no fault codes were showing. Has Anyone else has this happen and had a different fix solution? Many owners would benefit from this information Noob. You could save lives.. and I’m not exaggerating by saying that. Fantastic channel by the way 👍🏼

Been waiting for this series, got my 765 last week. A lot of owners are reporting engine shutdown and rear wheel lockup. Seems to be electronics issue, triumph has not officially addressed this yet but its potentially recall worthy issue. Check out the 765 forums or fb group to see how many have this issue. Hasn't happened to me yet but I've not had time to ride much the last week.

Yammie Noob it’s super nice!! I have me a 7u intellijel case with some fun stuff. I use something called a midi sprout and it takes the electric energy of plants and converts the values into midi, which i normally run into rings and other plucky sounds from other oscillators. So i get generative modular except the notes come from the energy of plants, and i use the morphagene for ambient textures behind the generative sounds, along with an intellijel rainmaker and a make noise erbe verbe. Lots of fun!

Out of all the super sports this is definitely one of the most beautiful. I do love the new r6 look, but the tail section and the body is just super good looking and has awesome flow. Thats part of the reason I ended up going with the 2020 Street Triple R, it has the same tank and tail section as that bike I believe, or very similar. Plus is came with brembo brakes, steel brake lines which the mt09 I was looking at didn't, fully adjustable suspension, and a freaking up and down quick shifter!!
I didn't even know it came with a quick shifter till I was at the dealer sitting on it deciding whether to buy it or not lol. I actually just got the call today it will be ready thursday, can't go get it till Saturday though cause of work but man oh man. I cannot wait.

Worried that Triumph is going to the “factory custom” well a little too often of late. If you’re a Daytona fan this is quite the bike, but honestly I wish they had updated the looks to be more in line with the new street triple lineup. Less dated and more aggressive. Great bike nonetheless. Have a blast Yammie - just no more attempted space travel please!
I almost bought one of these but decided for that price to get a used Panigale R instead. I think Triumph wanted a bit much for the Daytona 765 tbh.

I own a cbr600rr and a cbr1000rr and yet I find myself desiring a Daytona 675r in a big way, I'm even cashed up for it, they are a beautiful looking bike and that sound is just amazing but I just don't understand why they would put alien bug antenna mirrors on them, just kinda detracts away from sleek mean lioness look of the front end, makes them look like a bug, I think I might buy one

My dealer has one in stock. $17,500. It's possibly the nicest bike I've ever seen in person. These videos don't do it justice.
So I've had my daytona 675r since 2014. I bought it brand new. I've racked up over 60,000 on it. I was really hyped about this bike. But when I sat on one. I liked 2014 daytona675r better. And its the display that mostly kills it for me. Im very into looks. Why there are things I do like the frame 👍 and the one piece tail. I don't like the tft display at all. I was not wow'd like I thought. It didn't justify the price difference. The number I sat on and got to hear was number 273 I think.

You should install throttle spacers on the moto2. It's the only mod it needs. I have a speed triple rs. Same throttle assembly.

I dont know about the states but here in Canada the only 125cc you can buy is a Honda grom or a motocross they don't sell 125cc bikes here and im almost positive its the same thing in the states
Hey man, it’s awesome that you want to start riding. As a fellow teenage rider (I’m 16) it’s definitely the best time to start. I bought a ktm 390 duke as my first bike (since I live in the US) but it has the same frame and design as the 125 duke, only with a bigger engine. But I would only get a ktm if you are confident in your ability to work on it or you plan on having the dealership service it. I say this because KTMs are known for being higher maintenance and parts are more expensive, so bear that in mind. But If you have the cash and are confident in your abilities, then the 125 duke should be a great option if it’s anything like it’s big brother. If you don’t have any experience whatsoever with bikes though, I would have to recommend a big 4 bike, as they’re much easier and cheaper to maintain, as well as more reliable. I haven’t had any reliability issues with my 390 duke, but I did lay it down and I found that the parts were WAY more expensive than those of a similar Japanese bike. A Honda grom or Kawasaki z125 would both be great options.
They banned active suspension in MotoGP in 2010. Otherwise for sure they'd use it. Just look at Ducati's manual "holeshot" suspension system (which they may or may not have improved for 2020).
No electronics in the suspension mean better consistency.
I honestly think electronic suspensions are only great for street applications
