Honestly a bit... lack lustre... I’m disappointed.
They just evolved some existing stuff, paid for a moto2 badge and added a carbon fibre body kit.
For the same money you could buy something cheaper and spend the balance pimping it up.

Huge shame it hasn't updated the looks. And the engine has absolutely no relation to the Moto2 bike. Kind of mis-sold really :-(. The HP output isnt amazing for the size engine considering you can get 150bhp+ out ot the 800 F3. On the plus side, i saw it in person at silverstone and the goodies on it do make it look nice, like they'd sprinkled glitter on a turd.

@Niclas Danielsson I agree, the new st3-765 feels exactly like the old d675, it even has the same awesome air intake sound as the old d675. When I rode the new st3 765 I thought I would have an engine characteristic more akin to Mt09 but it was exactly like the old d675, through and through. They went up in displacement just to combat stricter regulations. Just like you say this new Daytona is indeed a missed opportunity.

Insane price for a 765cc bike. Street triple rs costs about 12000 euros and this costs about 17000. As much as I like Triumph motorcycles, they have failed very hard in design and price factors. With that price you can almost get a 1000cc japanese litre bike or pay a little bit more for a bmw s1000rr.
