- Triumph Daytona 765 Moto2.
The Triumph Daytona is one of the best middleweight bikes ever made. When it comes to track performance and street use, it's likely, there isn't another bike that is better. Triumph discontinued the Daytona 675R for the 2018 model. The company now has a partnership with Moto2 racing that has helped give birth to the limited edition Triumph Daytona 765 Moto2. In this video, we go for a ride with the Triumph Daytona 765 Moto2 and see what it has to offer. Triumph Daytona 765 Moto2.

If we were factoring in strictly cost, the CBR 1000 RR feels like the best choice. I wish they would figure out how to turn the savings in a cylinder into a cost reduction.
That said, I think the triple engine is a fun and rare setup. Would love to pick up one of them during a better market.

WOW. So excited for this one!

Your content is amazing !
Thank you very much!
I have got the no 433. I also own a street triple r from 2018. I am with you that the moto 2 is cornering in a telepathic way. The suspension of the street tripl r is great but the suspesion of the moto 2 is wunderfull. i´m interested in the data of 0 to 100 and using 6. gear 60 -100 and so on. But nobody will give his jewell to an brutal tester me included. Great video Greetigs from Germany (absurdistan).
Der Einhandsegler thanks for the awesome reply. Glad you enjoy your bike. Acceleration times can be weird with motorcycles more so than with cars because conditions matter a lot more for getting a good time out of a motorcycle. Also having a good consistent rider is important with a motorcycle. Whatever the times are, it’s still a great bike to ride! Thanks again!
Awesome video
Many thanks!
No LED lights?
Hi from the UK. About to get my 1st Daytona after owning a ZX7R for ages. I really like the limited edition of this, but am I really going to enjoy this anymore on the roads, than say a standard 2015 675? Won't I be forever worried about leaving it anywhere, dropping it (expensive carbon fibre) & then paying double for the bike & double for insurance, oh yeah, then there's the miles you should keep low for future value.
Am I correct in anything here, or just not living right? LOL
I think you’re spot on. The 2015 Daytona 675R is unquestionably an awesome sport bike. Unless you’re riding them back to back you won’t be missing any of what the Moto2 has to offer. And yes, the higher price tag and carbon bits make the Moto2 a bike you’ll be more conscious about in terms of keeping it safe. The 675R has a telepathic chassis and the engine is fun to rip on. You’re considering a Triumph, you’re definitely living right! 😂
@@ridexdrive Thanks for the reply & advice, I was actually even considering the standard 2015 675 (not the R), do I really need the Brembo's & Ohlins just for road use? Or does the Ohlins give a better ride on bumpier roads than the Nissin?
I’ve only ridden a Daytona R. But I owned an STR that had Nissin brakes and Kayaba suspension. Loved everything about it. It had full adjustability for the suspension and the brakes were radial mounted with steel lines. I believe the Street Triple R is mostly the same setup used on the nonR Daytona. If so, again, you won’t be missing anything. Lovely package.
I just gat this bike anybody know anything for upgrades for this
Unfortunately because of this bike being a limited edition, which is already quite tuned and upgraded by Triumph, there isn’t a huge typical aftermarket for it. There are tons of accessories but not too many performance parts that I know of. I believe SC Projects has an exhaust. There may be some custom stuff that I’m not aware of. Otherwise, it’s pretty stacked out of the box. Thanks for the comment!
They're British not European.
British is European 😂
Nice video. Please work on eliminating the annoying singsong voice delivery
Thanks for the comment! I like singsong. Sorry it's annoying to you. Likely not the channel for you if that's the case. All the best!
@@ridexdrive maybe it’s all the unnatural pauses in your sentences. I’ve never ridden a modern Triumph before picking up a moto2. I fully agree with everything you said. This machine is definitely worth the price! Thanks
Triumph are very inaccurate with the weight. It has been measured at 417 lbs by Revzilla.
That’s very inaccurate. They measured it at 414 lbs. Is it lbs or lb? Is it America or the United States of America? The world may never know. Wait, is it the world or is it Earth or perhaps the planet? ;)
You messed up the generations. You labelled a 3rd gen as a 2nd gen.
There were only 2 generations of the 675 that I am aware of. But if I am wrong, thanks for pointing it out! Errors are unavoidable with automotive and motorcycle content. We just try and keep them to a minimum. Cheers!
@@ridexdrive In case you care, 06-08 is gen 1, 09-12 is gen 2. 13-16 gen 3.
Ahhh. Gotcha. I never knew the 09 update was considered an entirely new generation. Thanks for the breakdown! I always care about learning new things 🙂
Nice bike still think the black design looks ugly as hell
Lol. Thanks for the comment! What color would you have liked?
@@ridexdrive bright red with word triumph would be hard. Idk that gray black combo terrible, must have been on some good acid when they choose color scheme
haha. Not a bad idea. Could picture that looking decent. Gotta admit, I’m a fan of the design scheme. Like the red accents better than the plain grey and black on European bikes. Perhaps we’re on the C20H25N3O as well. 😵🙃
@@ridexdrive The 2014/2015 675 one of the best sports bike ever have see, The red, white combo, Still a lot of those 2020 bikes for sale in USA
@@longlivechina7538 Yeah those are great looking bikes. Personally, a big fan of the Crystal White. Probably my favorite color.
