Thanks again to Eurocycle for sending me this bike! Check out the bikes they have here: www.rideeurocycle.com/yammie
Lol rip says page doesn’t exists
The 675 has around the exact same Hp as the Moto2 765 and has a claimed higher speed so your 675 still wins
@@JohnnyXoz Peak power and top speed are not indicative of which bike is better on track.
Can you maybe make a video explaining what a quickshifter does and how it works?
I think i got the idea but in not quite sure. Id like a clear explenation video in where you or spite explains how the quickshifter works and what it does.
Can you think about it please?
I have two videos on my channel already explaining that
I really like the reflection of the reflection of the road in your visor in your mirror
80 degrees in Texas = crisp. Up here in the Pacific Northwest 80 is warm or to some hot!
I live in washington, we literally have like 4 days of summer and that's it
Except in Texas you have central A/C in every apartment. Here if it gets hot there is no escape. I moved from Houston to Portland.
Here on the other side of the pacific 80 deg is already cool.
@@mastergogoy6166 fr it would be cool if I could live I like San Diego.
I live up in the PNW and I thought the same thing, 80 is crisp? Haha
Who else hopes they continue the 765 on the Daytona platform, without the special edition?
I hope they will but they wont
Yeah i would hope so too .....i did ask about this , their answer was this is the end of the Daytona, no more being made. :-((((((
They won’t ... the chassis and framework are the same as the old Daytona. Only the engine (Street Triple - EURO5) and some bits and pieces are new. That’s why there are only 765 bikes available in Europe, 765 bikes in US and Canada AND 765 bikes in Asia. Had a conversation with a guy from Triumph and I was wondering the same thing as you did 😁 that’s where I got the info... They will make a 1160cc Daytona in the future! From the engine of the upcoming Speed Triple. But for now they are using this 765 engine because they have a contract to deliver all engines in the Moto GP2... 👍
@@rolandfullthrottle8316 an 1160 Daytona!?
Oh me oh my!
@@rolandfullthrottle8316 a year has passed and triumph has come up with the Speed Triple RR! Turns out you were half right, they turned the Speed Triple into basically a sports bike, but not fully faired!
The exhaust note of that Triumph is amazing, and it's a pretty bike too. It's the kind of thing I'd buy if I was maybe about half my age again. I started out on Brit bikes in 1968 or 69 and they were all pretty unreliable back in the day, but these triples Triumph is putting out now are nice.
Thanks for doing another track day video. These are so awesome. Love seeing what the bikes can do when not limited to street conditions. Let's see what the Grom can do! LOL
the 765 moto2 are going to be garage queens
You know your own bike. Even if you ride the best bike on the planet - it's not your bike it takes time to become comfortable with it. Thanks for track content! Great seeing you out there recently! 2:11.292 on my SV so far.
That is damn fast on the SV! I gotta get down to the mid 2:05s
Papa yam!!! I’m about to roll out the lot with my 2015 R3!! 🏍💨😎
I got an accident today the truck accidentally put reverse on the driveway and i thought i was going to die man. The bike save me (z900) because the wheel of the pickup truck didn't go throught my head my bike is blocking it so i crawl to get out of the truck. Ride Safe Guys
80 is a good day in the Midwest too Usually 90 and humid
The only track review i wanna see is where yammy is on a Harley Electra glide telling me how crappy it takes corners!
With his boots beneath the frame I thought the yamster was circumposed over footage like Serpentza and Milk reviewing everyone's favorite party
I actually wouldn't mind seeing a crossover between Winston/C-Milk and Yam/Spite.
@@CaptainJacksIsland Only complain because of all the bad porn
I saw this bike at the NEC 2020 bike show. It’s awesome. I love it!
I switched out my 2013 D675R (track only) to the RCS19 Corsa Corsa master cylinder and it was a revelation (while keeping the ABS plumbed in but using it in ‘circuit’ mode). This was my all time favorite brake combo with crazy power and super fine feel. I now have a M2 to replace the 675R as my track bike. I’m definitely quicker with the M2 but I attribute more of this to my own improvements. Likewise, I kind of miss the extra RPM. The auto-blipper has been flawless.
This was so fun to watch.
Awesome 👍 love u Yammie Noob all the way from Kenya
I wanna see Yammie ride a Goldwing on camera XD
If you have a shot, could you get a chance to ride a 790 duke or an 890 duke? I think for the expert bike giveaway it would be awesome. I own a 2019 790 duke and I think its a perfect naked. I even use mine to commute and do long days. I've done 800km on it in one day in central Ontario. Its too much for a beginner and could be wrecked really easily. Please get one!!!
P.S. you are the best motorcycle content creator out there! Keep it up and hopefully one day you can ship to Canada. I have a few buds who would kill for a machine graced by the hand of Papa Yam!!
Why are the mirrors on? Don't they make you take them off
Private track day for members only, much more lax.
I was at my local dealership getting my first service done on my '19 ZX6-R and they had a Moto 2 there, I looked at it, sat on it, loved it but couldn't get past the 20k CAD asking price especially when my Ninja has more bhp and I never will race. I do understand what you say about things being more than just bhp but is it worth almost twice as much as my 6, I don't think so. If I could justify spending 20k on any bike then yeah, perhaps but you can get Ducs and S1000RR for just a few more grand. The bike does look awesome though.
You really don’t wanna go out and fuckin ***** it on the first round 😂
as you say @4:20 (nopun intended) your triple clamp is a bit low aka it is dorped through its front leg (quit a bit). Is that also the case on your own race prepped bike?
80's is cold..it was 85 at bfr yesterday and I was DYING lol
Meanwhile my last race the ambient temp was over 100 at Cresson lol, TX is brutal in summer
So you’ve got a gen1 675 and you’re gonna swap an engine this winter - you choosing a gen3 675 engine or a 765RS engine? Track use only.
Wish this would get more views & therefore be more profitable. I LOVE track vids. Alas I seem to be in a fast minority
CONCLUSION--He looked just as fast on the BUSA! Needing to get that turbo on it now!
nice riding
There weren't any videos linked at the end Yam!
Brad binder is the new rossi
hey yam, im getting my front raised to gain some trail, do you recommend 2 notch or 1 notch? im 170lb without gear.
i just got a moto license todayyyyyyyy
Yo papa yam, there's a 765 in fort worth with 272 miles on it for sale. Any chance that's the one they let you run around?
Interested to hear what you think of the different master-cylinder on the 675R. Do you reckon the Moto2 is worth the price? Does make you wonder how much cheaper they could make a standard version.
I think the limited Moto2 is worth the price since it’s so exclusive, but not as a standard machine. I’m dying to get that RCS19 on my 675R 👀
Do you plan on talking about/reviewing the RS 660?
Your Bois at Euro Cycles have MV Agusta. We need you to review one of them
Not only did the tires not have heat in them, they didn't have miles on them. They might not be fully broken in.
i'm like the 8th but i'll take it
Great video Yammie! I am looking to start doing track days at Road Atlanta! The only problem is it is stupid expensive. Personally, I love watching your track day videos. I know they don't get as many views as other content, but they are my favorite.! Please do more of them. In the meantime keep it up you guys are killing it!!
This video has been here for like 5 min and it's an 18 min video... You haven't even watched the whole thing.
@@cameronhill2true your point being? 🤔😂

I feel the rev limit is a software patch you could fix w/ an uptune program. The autoblip is a real issue.
I'm confused about his worry about crashing it bc of the carbon... everything I've read carbon is stronger so it should hold up better to crashing than the race bike
Because carbon fiber is expensive to replace
What did you change about the geometry to make it different than the moto2 765?
Daytona 675 2007 good buy for street commute usage?
My local dealership has one for sale, brand new, for 14,000. Think its worth it instead of a Panigale V2?
Do you know about any tracks nearby Conroe Willis or Houston.
Beautifull bike
Aren’t wind noise cancellation mics on markets already??
Are you riding the full layout?
541! She's a beautiful.
yammie i can't find a dealership that sells and daytona 675r. I need some help
how do you deal with that front tire slipping?? I have been having that problem on my litle cb125r and I never understand if that's normal or if I'm just about to low side
Quality tire, proper pressure for given activity, allowing it to heat first before sending it
@@TWIRKNOLOVE cant really send it on a cb125r
Harley Sportster track day when? lol
How do you track a bike without adjusting the suspension 😅 its a night and day difference....
Who said I didn’t adjust it?
@@yammienoob 3:48 - 4:17 ?
@@carlmrad3750 Wasn't he talking about geometry then? That's adjusting your forks in the triples, not the suspension itself.
Moto Journo Kris you got it! I set static preload, compression and rebound on the 765. Didnt adjust geometry as it’s not my bike and that’s a more involved process than turning some dials
Hey Yammie just wondering what car you drive. Honestly curious.
Probably a Subaru WRX.....
A Nissan 370Z
Got a ‘14 370z and a ‘16 Frontier
@@yammienoob nice thankyou so much for replying :)
I think you like te midrange, dont you?
Dude, Check your fork alignment on the 675. The wheel is pointing in a different direction to you front fairing. Maybe an optical illusion from what i'm seeing but check it out anyway.
You do realize that you can put a bike on a front stand at a slight angle right? Lol
@@yammienoob HaHa, I must have had too much to drink...
@@yammienoob great video ! thx ! You are speaking about change the geometry on your 675. what did you do exactly ? I'm interested about it.
Been riding for 8yrs and looking to get into tracking. Currently riding a V2 but would like a track focus bike. What do you recommend for a beginner track bike? Considering R3 built out or a 765. Problem with the 765 I don’t want to get into trouble with it on the track.
R3? Do you mean the R6? Please explain l
Use the V2
Use the V2 or get a 2014 Era daytona. Reliable bikes with ohlins, brembo and a proven chassis and engine.
How did you get away without taping your headlights and mirrors
Private track day
Ay I'm early
Second?
Synth analogies ❤️ I'd say the 765 is more of a prophet 08 while the 675r is more mother32. Liter bikes are all mini moogs 😂
Haha, liter bikes are definitely modular synths with 82 different modules
@@yammienoob I stand corrected haha. Like one of Richard devine's rigs. Jesus...
No confidence in Supercorsas? The tires aren’t the problem!
Yeah the track temp and first session out was the issue
I'm not a fan of the tire profile on supercorsa pirellis. The do turn very fast and I think we're developed for a wider rear tire like those on superbikes.
Where is the track
I wish these companies would come out with an 800cc sport bike. Something between the 600 and 1000 would be nice
>acting like 750cc class doesn't exist

Only 3 sec slower on a bike ur nt comfortable with nt bad
heyo,
Potential future rider here, i have a little question.
I really like the style of let's say a norton commando or Royal enfield bullet. Under what collective name, sort of 'genre' of motorcycle, do these go. There's sports, cruisers, touring, dirt etc. But what are these types of models called?
They're usually under retro on listings 👍
Retro is the style, but they are nakedbikes. Which differ from sports in not having fairings, and normally more relaxed ergonomics (taller bars for instance).
men ..... i know it is moto2 engine but i think triumph did wrong by using a low raving engine the street triple because after seeing the review ,auto blip at 13000 rpm which cause over raving which controlled by ECU i think that what causing the problem dawn shifting
Um, can I have that bike?
Where are my pants?
Early ish
Hi, I am new at motorcycle and I have already seen many bikes with a little bottle with something inside, if someone can explain me what it is I will appreciate 😊
If the object you are talking about is mounted on the handle bars then that is the front brake hydraulic fluid reservoir.

Just bought this bike yesterday and absolutely love it!
Bought mine yesterday too..(new) Nice quality Motorcycle built in England. I kind of like that for some reason :) Just like my Moto- Guzzi Stornello is made in Italy.. Although fewer of those made than the Moto 2. Nice contrast in street bikes to ride..
I wonder what oil that bike had in it. Things like that can effect shifting.
