we solved this with our dogs by making a daily alarm for their feed time with an unique sound. so they stopped worrying about it until they heard that sound. then they know it's food time.

Not saying OP is a part of that though. Setting time frames and boundaries are part of any relationship, let alone between a person and a pet.
My cat has an uncanny ability to frequently know exactly when it's her feeding time, to within a 15 minute margin of error, for both breakfast and dinner. IDK if her internal cercadian rhythm is just so perfect that she can tell how much time has passed within a given day... or she's learned to read clocks.

That breed of dog is incredibly friendly and loving and sweet. My neighbors used to have one and he’d chill on his front lawn and when we’d walk by on dog walks the dogs would play and he would show off his toys and stuff. *Freaking adorable as heck.*

The dog with the long nipples is likely from a breeding farm. That dogs entire life has been one pregnancy after another with her puppies taken away to be sold as soon as they can survive without her. That is probably what the guy meant by saying she was "learning how to be a dog." She was never a dog before, just a puppy producer

@davidbritton5282 dog breeding farms. Desirable dog breeds are kept and bred their entire lives until they are no longer able to. Then they are either abandoned or killed. My cousin works for ODNR, and he stumbled on one and was horrified. 70 dogs in cages, all of them are either pregnant or nursing puppies. He said the dogs didn't react at all when they interacted with them. They just laid there and only moved when a bowl of food was placed directly in front of them.

It IS a waste product of your body, that's the whole point of getting rid of it and while it isn't toxic, it's also not healthy to consume - especially not for another person.

All it knows is that it's hungry, and you usually feed it around that time. My dog gets antsy about his evening walk when the sky starts to get dark. Which means as early as 4:30 pm in winter, as late as 8 pm in summer.
It's called "humanizing" their pets. "Anthropomorphize" means something completely different. They are close, but still different.

my cat Lucca gets her water filled from a brita filter after having had spent 2 years drinking from a automatic fountain that didn't get cleaned regularly enough that it had mold grow on it twice. now her stagnant water bowl gets cleaned every 2-3 days (sooner if she manages to get something like fur, tracked litter, string from her falling apart sissal rope scratching post, etc in it.). she's been much happier with that arrangement.
