Finally this is the best review I've seen i was trying too find out if you could hear through both ears when making a call none of the other reviews mentioned that thanks dude
Thank you for a well produced & very informative review. You covered all features. Would have been good if you made some comparisons to some competing products.
As for sound quality alone, I would rank the Bose Soundsport Free as the best in the truly wireless category. The Jabra's come second offering very good controls of the tone. Followed by the Beoplay E8 and the WF-1000X right up there with the Jabra's but falling ever so short due to the EQ ability of the Jabra's app. Overall, the Jabra 65t are the most well rounded in this category. If anyone wants anymore more further comparisons please respond in this thread!
TheGamingAudiophile I have the Sony wf1000x earbuds. Would you think it's a major difference if I chose to upgrade or not enough of a change to agree with a switch. One step away from switching to the jabaras.
Did not work for me and I had to return them to Best Buy. They were uncomfortable and would get loose and fall out while I was talking. I tried all 3 tip sizes and nothing stopped them from falling out. My search continues.
Been waiting for this review, thanks! How they compare soundwise with other truly wireless earbuds you heard? That SBC codec seems underwhelming, but from what I know, no truly wireless inears use aptX, probably because of connection issues with that higher bandwidth...
Radek Londin Soundwise, they're as good as the best that I've heard including the Sony's WF-1000x, Beoplay E8 and Bose Soundsport Free. The ability to adjust the sound within the app makes these very versatile as well.
Hey there. The jabra 65t elite uses AAC if your phone supports it (Android 8 oreo). The only true wireless that uses aptx codec is the Erato Apollo 7/s.
João Vitor Clark I’ve bought exactly the same model from video from official electromarket in my country. I’m satisfied of them! Sound good! Quality good! And many of other options.
Hey, how do Samsung and Apple have earbuds that each are 100% standalone while using bluetooth 4.2 if that's a feature of bluetooth 5.0? I'm just curious.
Hello thegamingaudiophile, i want to get these mainly for playing video games at night, without disturbing anyone. My question is if these connect to the Xbox One console ? Have you tried connecting them and if so, how ? And whats the sound quality and if there is lag/syncing issues with the audio and the video ? I would greatly appreciate your response , thank you so much !!!
Hi, Really appreciate your detailed review. I have had Jabra elite sport and recently upgraded to elite 65t. I am struggling with the sidetone feature while making calls. They have such a good passive noice isolation that I cannot hear myself talk and end up feeling like I am talking underwater. I can only hear my surroundings from my right earbud while making calls. Did you have the same problem? For my old Jabra elite sport earphones, I was able to hear my voice from both the ears and felt more natural while making calls. Thanks for your reply
I have a pair of earbuds like that and the problem i found with the long press for volume is its hard the get the exact volume you want. its more of a guessing game. you hope you stop at the right spot.
Thank you for this perfect review you make again. I'm about the purchase the B&O E8's. So, what you say? These against them? You liked them a lot too... Soundwise, which one is better? And can i use this jabra's for active sports activities, do they fit that well?
Furkan Satış Sound wise, they are both excellent. The tonal controls however can be better tuned with the Jabra's app so I'll rank the 65t as the best sounding truly wireless earphones I've come across so far. In terms of battery life and connection stability, the 65t is also superior to the Beoplay E8. Active use is wonderful with the 65t and they do stay in the ears fairly well, but not as secure as the Beoplay E8 with the foam tips installed. Comply does make foam tips for the 65t however and I will try those out soon.
Sadly when you said it would interesting to see where this going if your (totally submerged into hole sound thing) it's implants is where it's going , but for time being theses are game changers lifting the bar no dropped signals good comfort and fit apart from my backbeat fit from Plantronics the rest bt stuff was junk landfill R&D sold to unsuspecting public to keep revenue going Jabra made a game changer here with correctly named Elite (Active) 65T There's also a UC version for office worker too
Hey, so I'm eyeing the B&H E8 and these bad boys for sound quality. Your B&H review basically said they sounded very very good, but your review here says these sound better (best you've heard). Any further comments on that? I want to believe this $170 product is better than the $299 B&H, but without any additional feedback I may have to just buy both and return one. Your thoughts? No preference on sound signature.
Thanks for the response! So you don't think the E8 is even worth considering for sound quality? Soundsport is a dealbreaker due to the large floppy design.
Aaron Lam These sound lively off the bat for me. A bit too much treble emphasis in my opinion. As for sound stage, they sound quite good for the size but the Bose Soundsport Free excel at this in this category. In comparison to the QC35, the Jabra's fall short in terms of soundstage size and power behind the music.
1. light weight 2. comfortable to wear and secured 3. better audio quality than airpods 4. case has no magnet, but secured once lid is closed 5. all necessary controls on ear piece but uncomfortable pressing button against ears.
How does the physical buttons feel to press? Are they hard to press in and therefore press the buds onto your ear? Or are they lighter and more clicky? I had the jabra elites and they hurt when I had to press any buttons.
TheGamingAudiophile the worst design for ear buds in my opinion, no earbuds should ever have to be pushed into the ear canal any further than it already is for basic operation.
If u are thinking about one of those neckbands you should really try both. Sony has multiple bluetooth codecs, Bose is sbc only. The mic on Bose is pitiful. Bose noise cancelling is a little bit better but not much. Bose fit is way better. Sony is more versatile being you can use them with 3.5mm jack also. If you get Sony, also buy a set of comply eartips.
Hi. I’m looking to get a pair of truly wireless earphones. I will use them mainly for going to the gym so I will need ones which will not fall out of my ears. I really care about sound though and when watching a lot of reviews I’ve noticed people have said that any earphones which are good for working out don’t really have great sound. Can you help?
Chloe Wishart The Bose Soundsport Free sound excellent and stay in your ears the best. However, they don't isolate at all so they're poor in noisy environments. The Jabra Elite 65t don't sound as good as the Bose, but they isolate much better and are more versatile as a result.
I’ve had both and prefer the sound of the Bose, though overall the Jabra is a better package. The sound is 85% as good, and is improved with solid outside noise isolation. The Bose also experience drop out issues for many because it is running Bluetooth 4.x rather then Bluetooth 5.
So, with these buds the fit is not for everyone, I am experiencing fatigue after 2-3 hrs of use, they fall out from your ears when moisture starts to build up. Sound is great build is great. But the auto pause and play feature is horrible l, you cannot listen to just the left earbud the right bud is in primary control. This is my experience, everyone’s ear will vary so give it a try for yourself and go from there
TheGamingAudiophile Have them, but it sucks to switch them out every time just so they can charge. Because the size of the form tips don’t fit with the charging case
I'm thinking of getting the active over the regular elite because of the added moisture protection. But I've read that the active has slightly less battery life because of the accelerometer. I'm wondering if you can turn that feature off because I think it's unnecessary especially for people who already wear fitness trackers and apple watches.
@@joaovitorclark58 Yes, I bought the Elite 65t Active. I bought them shortly after I watched this review so about 6 months. My opinion of them is the same as pretty much every other review of them. They're very comfortable and secure in the ears. They're perfect for the gym. Pair them to your device once and they automatically connect and disconnect when removing or putting them back into the charging case. I'm not an audio aficionado but I think they sound awesome and I listen to all kinds of music and podcasts. I really like that there is no latency when watching videos. Audio and video is in sync. Battery life is good. The case holds two extra charges for a total of ~15 hours. The one minor issue I have is that even though I turn on the feature that lets ambient sound pass through, I still have to take at least one of them out if I want to listen to someone/something carefully. But it's still a useful feature to have considering they create a really good seal in your ear. You can't go wrong with either the regular 65t or the Active. The Active has a more rubbery coating but unless you're really sweaty or like to run in the rain, the regular 65t is fine. I would definitely recommend them. They've been out for about a year now and they're still one of the best truly wireless earphones on the market. There's really nothing negative to say about them. I hope you enjoy them if you decide to get them! Take care!
I wanted to like these, but I returned them and kept my AirPods. Love almost everything about these. I like the AirPods better just because it doesn't seal around the ear, and I can still hear with them in my ear. The Jabra hear through feature is not as good as it can be. I just wish the AirPods fit a little better, the Jabra fit is perfect, I just don't like hearing myself breath, and hearing my heartbeat when they are in my ears.
Andre They have the best sound that I've heard from a truly wireless earphone. The sound is balanced, detailed and very focused. The vocals are slightly forward but other than that, there is nothing else that stands out about the sound. It sound accurate and clear.
I picked them up and they are shit! Cant even talk in loud places, the person you talk to cant hear shit! Don't buy this if you talk alot on the Phone.
Thanks for the review. I've been looking to get these and I think you've just made my mind up. Thanks - just need to find them in the UK now.
Finally this is the best review I've seen i was trying too find out if you could hear through both ears when making a call none of the other reviews mentioned that thanks dude
This must be one of the best review videos i ever seen! Thank you so much for all that info!

Can you please compare the video-sound lag of these and the Beoplay E8, Bose Free? How is the sound lag when watching videos? Thanks
TheGamingAudiophile I have the Sony wf1000x earbuds. Would you think it's a major difference if I chose to upgrade or not enough of a change to agree with a switch. One step away from switching to the jabaras.
The main difference is the improved reliability in the connectivity. Also, the call quality will improve as well as the battery life.
The Jabra's have minor lag, but much improved over the E8 and Bose.
IQbuds by. Nuheara are my favorites. Noise canceling, augmented hearing with adjustments, awesome music, phone call quality isexcellent
Did not work for me and I had to return them to Best Buy. They were uncomfortable and would get loose and fall out while I was talking. I tried all 3 tip sizes and nothing stopped them from falling out. My search continues.
Have you tried the Samsung iconX 2018, just curious to how they sound as oppose to these.
Been waiting for this review, thanks!

Hi. Any plans of reviewing the momentum true wireless and comparing the sound with the Bose Soundsport free?
Light does not blink on any Jabra Elite65t earbuds although it shows green light inside and outside the case. Any help?
I’ve just ordered them for me (titan) and for my wife (beige). Can’t wait for delivery 🤩 thank you for full great review!
Do you recomend? What colour and where from did you buy

Every other review I have seen on these earphones states the left earpiece is the Master. Which is which?
As far as the updates are concerned how do you know when the updates are complete? its just flashing purple.
As of right now are there any comply tips that fit on these?
thanks so much, very interesting
Question: Do the buds discharge at an even rate or does the master/slave discharge quicker than one or the other?

These do not have a voice passthrough while on calls unless you turn on ambient mode.
Which one would you get Beoplay E8 or these? I can't decide which are better. Keep up the good work!
Peter Wassink Definitely the Jabra's.
I’d prefer 1 click for forward/back and long press for volume. It just seems more intuitive that way.

I also feel like those two are pretty evenly matched, which makes the price tag for the E8's kind of ridiculous...
Laurent M.-Boileau Couldn't agree more.
Laurent M.-Boileau And the e8’s don’t sink audio well with video
Can we get the scrwenshot of the eco?

Jabra made a game changer here with correctly named Elite (Active) 65T
There's also a UC version for office worker too
What if it is used to play games? will there be a delay?
Have this for almost 2 weeks...but I find the high is a bit too bright compare to elite sports..gonna try your eq setting..haha
どき どき you are absolutely right! I have the same comments. Even with the same equaliser setting, the Elite sound better, nicer and smoother.
Can u compare with sony relating to bass
Hey you should do a review on the jaybird run
I have the Jabra Elite T65 for 2 weeks and I am thrilled
Thanks for doing what Jabra tried to do with a not very good website. xx

It's still a good contender, but the 65t sounds as good for much less.
Very valuable feedback, thanks for your time!
some reviewer sites say these headphones don’t have enough liveliness, doesn’t sound as expansive. How do these compare to the bose qc 35?

Does the case keep charging, after the earphones are fully charged, and will the case charge the left piece, if you only use the right one?
No, once the case detects the earphones are fully charged it will stop charging them. Yes, you can charge the earphones individually.

I need jabra 65t charger my charger lost
Great review.👍 But I'm not sure how to connect to two devices simultaneously. Can u help me out?

Serg Va Yes, it will work.
Will there be a decrease in the quality of the sound?
If your phone doesn't support AAC, yes, but it may not be discernable.
Ok. Thank you very much!
I bought bose for high quality but it looks unusual. I then bought jabra because it looks good but audio is decent. Lol

glovedcop69 release in late may/june
