  • @wulf_au3593
    @wulf_au3593 Před 6 lety +15

    I've had mine for a few weeks now. One thing that irks me is that I have to be in hear through mode to activate the step count. Having the choice would be ideal. Most phone calls while wearing these have ended up switching back to the phone due to a lack of voice clarity through the Jabra mic. They are super comfortable and with the correct fit they stay in position well, the only time mine seem to move around is when lying on the bench press where I usually have to give them a firm press to push them into the ear canal. I have experienced no connection issues at the moment (current firmware) and no A/V sync issues. Yes, they do sound amazing.

At work Atwood home when I'm doing lawn work or when I'm power walking, jogging, riding my bike for 38 miles which it takes me 3 hours to do, talking on the phone, listening to music although I wish they had a tad bit more bass but they sound awesome I'm thinking of keeping the 65t at work and getting the active

    The microphone doesn't cancel any noise at all. Neither does the Active Evolve 65T does any better noise cancellation. I have been using the active 65t for several months now and always have issues with other end in the call complaining about noise while I am outdoor with moderate traffic / crowd.On the other hand it works great when I am indoor without any noise - infact crystal sharp sound picked up by the mic during calls.BTW the evolve Active 65T only additional is the blue tooth dongle that can help you pair your laptop or give better bt range. Not really worth for the huge price difference between these two models, I see no improvement in the noise cancellation at all with the enterprise edition.

Went to go get some today but they didn't have any in stock, luckily the workers there didn't know the difference between the active and non active version (they thought it was just a color difference) so I got the active version for that insane price!! I loved this review! I just bought these and haven’t really had much time with them yet and learned things in your review. I must say the only question I have as far as audio quality is I wonder how they stack up with Beoplay which I’m a huge fan of but I didn’t want to spend about $100 more. And the Bose. These two brands I’ve known to have rich smooth base but these Jabra earphones do have incredible sound in every other area! Thanks for the video. I've been using them since a month now & I find the following salient points for potential buyers
    -- great audio, fit & ease of use esp while taking calls, listening to audios & videos.
    -- one must use right earpiece, right acts as a master which simply eliminates the use of left one.
    -- noise cancellation is not consistent during calls.
    -- being a bit heavy, you feel the difference in your ears when you use it for more than 20-30 mins.
    -- BT connectivity with the devices is instant

In my opinion they are slippery in hand I wish the case and buds had that non slip rubber coating like the icox2018 and jabra sport elite have, I thought the active version would have it, being active with sweat. If you see this, can you comment on how the coating affects fit/stability in the ear compared to the 65t? I thought it was advertised to have a more rubber like feel for a more stable fit.
    Also, in your opinion is it worth upgrading if you already have the 65t? I'm personally not overly concerned with the fitness tracking, more so with the coating/fit etc. (not to say I have any issues with the 65t fit)

    Do recommend anyone purchase their (Fry’s) ‘coverage plan’ or is that simply a gimmick?

      I bought the Elite 65T's in black 7 months ago and today exchanged them for the Actives in Blue. Blue is by far classier looking and my pick by a long shot. In case you're wondering, I exchanged them because the little plastic locking tab on the charging case broke. These have been my favorite ear buds to date by far.

    The only thing that is bad about these are talking on the Phone in loud places like talking on a bus or something, sounds like that, does not work! The other person can only hear the backround and not me when you are in a loud place, have you noticed that too?

    • @nickkroudis9169
      @nickkroudis9169 Před 5 lety

      Yes, I had two sets and both had horrible call quality for the caller. Everyone I spoke to said they could hear all the background noise louder than my voice. Spoke to several Jabra tech support personnel and they know of the issue but there is no fix being offered. Love the sound quality, I think it's incredible for true wireless Bluetooth earbuds, but the call quality is a killer. Had to stick with my Airpods unfortunately.

  • @MrIrnman
    @MrIrnman Před 5 lety

    I believe the audio on the call Quality was superb... That's my major concern in purchasing truly wireless earbuds. Is it necessary to have both earbuds in in order for the noise-cancelling to work to its highest efficiency? I tend to wear only 1 bud at a time... Also how's the battery life compared to the 65t elite? Is the difference substantial? That was an excellent review btw thank you...

    One annoying thing about these wireless ear buds is if you lose the case like I did they want $70 for a new one. The case is small and light and fell out of my pocket on a hike and I never noticed it was gone. Come on $70 for the case. Their cost is probably less than $10. Something to consider.

    I've had no issue with the fit of the 65t at all. If I doze off on the train and I wake up, sometimes I have to check my ears to be sure they are still there because I don't feel anything. I do however experience drops in the connection on certain trains. Also, when I walk into target they pause when I go through the scanner, then resume playing. Someone mentioned both issues are caused by the magnet field. Personally, here is what I want in the next generation. Better sound quality. These are good, but I came from a pair of BeatsX wireless. These sound better than the airpods, but don't compare to the BeatsX. A decrease in size and better battery life. Hopefully over 7 hrs on a charge.

      @@fns3159 Yes it does. These are my second Jabra’s. I had the Sport Pulse which were my first Bluetooth buds. I upgraded to the Sudio Vasa Bla and those had better sound quality but the sport pulse looked better to me. The beatsx were on par with the Sudio sound wise. Both sound better than the elite IMO, but I would not go back to the beats. The difference in sound is not by much. The Jabra's sound good.

    Idk why they didn't do touch sensitive buttons and make the charging case magnetic? I used to have the previous versions and I found myself pushing with some good amount of pressure (enough for it to feel uncomfortable) with the buttons and some times I thought they were charging in the case when they weren't. That would've made the price more justified 😕

    So I've owned the airpods since they came out and love them! But since switching to the Note 8, i've been looking for something new. I ordered the IconX 2018 which come in tomorrow but while at best buy I saw the Active 65t and decided to give them a try.
    Active 65t - Pretty good sound quality but the right earbud hurts like a bitch. Left if perfect fit. I even tried different size tips but no luck. Going to return them tomorrow. Hoping the IconX will be better fitting for my ears. Airpods are super comfortable and don't fall out of my ears so if the IconX don't workout then will be keeping my airpods.
    But definitely advice trying out the headphones and maybe they fit better in your ears. For my Airpods are the best choice right now. Hoping IconX can replace them though. We will see tomorrow!

    I'm sorry I bought the Jabra Elite Active 65t. With little use time .. I have problems with the audio .. the sound is low. I can't increase the sound.
    When the sound is loud ... it decreases ... decreasing. And it stops at a low sound (even at 100% load).
    I tried everything..and I can't solve this problem. And apparently I'm not the only one with this problem. There were several people who bought and reported the same problem.
